Why do you think he didn't play an instrument onstage? He said he was awkward and uncoordinated and wanted to concentrate on singing. So glad he did, LOL. He was goofy in so many ways but those things made him all the more lovable!

It is amazing how Robin can sing so perfectly by not missing a note or beat but when he starts moving, he can't find a beat. It would seem the timing of his movement would throw off the rhythm of his singing. This is rather odd because the two just don't match. What is also odd is that I liked it and couldn't take my eyes off of Robin. Maybe I was trying to see if his odd movement would throw off his singing but it never happened. Robin was so fascinating to me because he was so true to himself and oh so unrehearsed and it showed. He was indeed a joy to watch.

That photo that takes us in then takes us out at the end just breaks my heart. Poor Robin is at the peak of the most awkward age ever experienced by an awkward adolescent in a profession where good looks matter far more than in anything else you could do. Alright, what else was the poor guy to do?! His brothers were both busy with playing the guitar. He couldn't just remain immobile for 4 minutes, so Robin had to just kind of stand there & bop about. Yes he was awkward, but at least he was enthusiastic about it! He had one of the most beautifully unique voices ever. He could have stood there with his finger up his nose & I'd still love him! This video is so adorable, thank you!
