Is it weird that I'm just now realizing how cute and talented he was. I discovered the BEE GEES later in life, around the time I saw Saturday night fever when I was a teenager in the 80s. I found myself looking for any video of the Bee Gees, and I for old recording of their younger years, going back to the 60s, I was in awe of them, I discovered songs I may have heard but I didn't know it was them, because I wasn't thinking of their music past the disco music, I loved what I heard and I discovered how much I was smitten by Robin Gibb. Now all I do is watch all the videos I can find on the BEE GEES and Robin, plus I love all off their personalities, they were very funny, and comedic, makes watching them more fun and entertaining. I realize I wasn't even alive when they performed the early songs, and even though I'm old enough to be Robin's kid, I have developed a bit of a crush on him. Which makes me sad thinking I wasted time not having discovered them sooner. But the good thing about UA-cam is now I can at least get to know how they lived and how talented they were. To me listening to their earlier songs is like discovering them for the first time. Rest in Peace Robin and Mo.

You are not alone. Even though I'm older, I did enjoy the Bee Gees earlier songs but it wasn't until SNF that I really got into them. As I got older, I appreciated them even more, especially after all of them, but Barry, have passed away. I scour UA-cam to watch all their videos, interviews, etc. lately and have stumbled upon songs I had never heard before, like Mr. Natural. My gosh, Robin sang that song in such a soulful way that I had never heard. He is so talented with that magnificent voice of his. Wow! But, my favorites of Robin are still For Whom the Bell Tolls and Massachusetts. He owns it on those songs. Love the man and his voice!

Everyday, I keep searching & finding more fantastic Bee Gees footage I've not seen before, which makes me very happy & very sad that I missed so much of them when they were actively recording, performing, interviewing etc & for the 3 sadly gone, it is a torturous feeling of everlasting longing for what you can never have again. That is the BEST video. Chuck Berry has the funniest astonished look on his face when Robin is dancing & Barry says, "What about Paul McCartney?" Chuck says, Can he sing the blues?" Robin didn't know how to dance but, in my opinion, he had the body of a dancer. It was perfect. Not so tall, thin but toned and slender. Adorable.

He had the rythm, but was limited in his mooves. But he was so natural and he tried so hard and it came from the bottom of his heart, so it was so wanderfull and magnetic to watch. I especially like his mooves in 'TOYS'.

Robin couldn't dance and later on realized it and didn't even try. Both Barry and Maurice could dance but Robin just stood there moving his upper body but the feet stayed firmly on the ground. It doesn't take away from his unique voice and a wonderful sense of humour. We can't be good at everything.

Have you seen their concert from Melbourne back in1974?They doing a Medley there and Maurice was dancing and hiking around.He stay in front of Robin ,and he lay his hand on Maurices shoulder ,Maurice take IT of,and he jumper forward and look at Robin.I think Robin punch him in the arce.I should have like too knew if he did that.I laught when i saw it.

That way you can watch over and over.both Robin and Maurice liked to make the fans happy.being twins and growing up I'm sure there was lot teasing in that house imaging the pranks they pulled on Barry😀. that's why I download the concerts and shows. Watching Robin dance gives me pure, unadulterated, joy! It just amuses the hell out of me that they can create song with so much rythm and he doesnt have any. His feet dont match the beat. lol. But I adore him!! If I HAD to pick a favorite Bee Gee he would probably be it.

Robin looks really happy dancing. I think somebody must have commented on his dancing because he hardly moved when singing live in his later career which is a shame as it's nice to see people feel the music (even if it isn't very coordinated!).
He really was terrible at miming to his songs on TV shows though!
I think you are right. He was so animated with the goofy dancing early on, but stopped moving altogether in the later years. I hope no one said anything about his dancing to him. That probably made him self conscious. I'm sure his fans adored his goofy dancing. It made him more endearing.
