@@PrimitiveTim I don’t remember seeing a shipwreck on the glass bottom boat tour, (1990s) there was an old Spanish boat and two statues props from 007 movie. But anyways, the location was probably used for it’s jungle look.
I'm proud to say our yard is completely naturally (rain) watered. I would rather have leafs and weeds than no aquifer! Fantastic video man, maybe we can go out there together next time you go... Looks awesome.
graphiccontent98 Thank you! Florida is so amazing and it blows my mind how billions are spent on Disney and other theme parks when we have some of the most unique nature in the world!
Timothy Raley, m sure I'd agree if I visited there but the same could be said. about some of the areas down here in Britain with the scenery and animals and plants :)
@@PrimitiveTim actually Florida is listed as the only US state that's connected to the continent that has jungles. Those jungles being, Sub-tropical rainforests. So they really are jungles! That's why so many tropical species thrive here rather than in other southern states like Georgia ect
@@PrimitiveTim believe it or not i dont think there is actually any true scientific definition for the word jungle i believe its just kind of an umbrella term for these kinds of forests kinda like how many different large cat breeds are all occasionally referred to as panthers even tho there not the same breed and there is no actual one animal that is considered a true panther its just a loose term for large cats in general. Rainforests have a scientific definition that must be met to be considered a rainforest but i dont believe the term jungles is the same way i think its more like the word panther where it can be used more loosely. America does have temperate rainforest in washington and alaska tho i think and much of the area around the gulf coast is what most people would consider jungle as well.
Lance Kirkman well, everybody has got to water their st. augustine grass lawns... I cringe whenever I see people watering their lawns. Golf courses are another issue as well and Florida is covered in them. storm water drainage I hear is pretty appalling too.
Timothy Raley I can only imagine man. Here in the Pacific NorthWest we have so much rain 80% of the time it is almost comical when they feel the need to water their yards.
Perfect location for filming a movie
That spring was gorgeous!
Blake Tyler Our springs are absolutely insane!
That's the way to see Florida, all right!
HChrisH200 - Haphazard Homestead Yessir it is! Thanks for watching!

@@PrimitiveTim I will once covid calms down everywhere :D
Just remember to bring bug spray or you'll get consumed by mosquitoes
@@DineroSucio754 we have lots of mosquitos here as well so im used to it
@@maple494 I've been to Florida many times not once have I ever been bitten by a mosquito. I guess it depends on what part you go to.
Beautiful! I can just picture Cretaceous dinosaurs living in there. I'll have to go!
Matthew Davis woudln't have phased me if a dinosaur went rushing through the brush.
Wow that place is amazing!!!!!!!!
TheHerpingLizard and I didn't even explore close to half of that area! Definitely going to go back later this year.
Most of the 1930s Tarzan movies starring Johnny Weissmuller was filmed on the springs of north and central Florida.
Yeah I think mostly at silver Springs. I dove on a shipwreck that was part of the movie.
@@PrimitiveTim diving on a shipwreck awesome. Great! Keep up with your adventures. Btw, and an old James Bond movie also filmed at Silver Springs.
@@marcusmagellan maybe it was a James Bond shipwreck lol

That is very cool, man!

If you're headed to TN, you'll have to stop by and do a colab vid with The Herping Lizard.
smetlogik Yeah, I've been chatting with her but I hate to say that I'm short on time. It would have been really fun though!

Do you know what type of fish those were? Looked almost like mangrove snapper...
muhammed kajee I think that may be correct. I know they are some kind of snapper.

Dang, didn’t even know the United States has a jungle
Well the only real jungles in the US are in Hawaii but Florida is pretty darn close.

Why are you telling people about it so they can ruin it? And what is that foreigner doing there. He's not American.
