Love Benidorm. Living now in Almería always such a treat to go up there and experience a proper resort. It offers everything except the Costa del Sol price tags.
Personally I prefer everything the Poniente side of Av. Europa. The strip/square was great when I was 20 but not so keen at 60, but there are many who stay there, have a great time, never hardly cross either Av. Europa or Av. Meditarranio, return home and slag Benidorm off. The others who slate it have never been there. Benidorm has so much to offer the British party animal, but also has so much more for everyone else too, if only they would forget the the reputation of the 80’s and give the place a chance.
You do a fantastic job in showing all the different faces of the city - keep up the good work!

I love Benidorm and all it has to offer. It's so versatile, that is the beauty of this place. It's not all fry ups and bitter. Plan to retire here. Still a way to go, but it is an aspiration of mine. You do both yourself and this lovely area justice my dear. Bravo!!!

It’s great to be back here! Flight in on Saturday, here for 12 nights. You video have kept us going through lock down. Just had a lovely walk from old town along the beach. Our favourite hotel Riviera Beach not open yet but the sister hotel the Presidente is very good.

Hi Lucy we usually stay in the flash but we have recently been to La cala frinstrat stayed in hotel la cala which is fab but what is the deal with the abandoned hotel since 2006 it's just lying dormant I've asked about it apparently it was built then they went up 5 floors and the council said no then they ran out of money it's a shame la cala is beautiful but this hotel is a shambles check it out Lucy

You did not mention the high cost of sunblock lotions used to protect one's skin from the blazing sun and the numerous shark species which like to nibble on unsuspecting tourists which go suspiciously underreported.! Also, the pounds gained as a result of the many cafes serving foods that are too delicious to stop eating.! No, sir. I'd rather stay home and be safe from all that craziness.!

Great Video Lucy ;-) very tongue in cheek ;-) BUT on a serious note about the beach at Levante :-( i spoke with a few lads in Daytona the other day,, they told me they went to the beach to do the water skiing thing,, they put their towels down,, went and did the skiing came back and all their clothes, phones and wallets , money etc were gone :-( luckily they didnt have ALL their spending money with them and lost about 70 - 100 e each,, still a lot though, one of the lads had designer tshirt and shorts and flip flop taken,,, WOW just WOW,, however as i said to them,, this is an EXPERIENCE and the one thing we do from EXPERIENCE is LEARN FROM IT ;-) i think they got my point ;-)) Folks please ONLY EVER TAKE OUT WITH YOU WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE :-( think about that for a while. from Oct 4th if fully vaccinated, the day 2 test still is 👍
