It’s the last Villain for a little while! Rest assured there will be more, I've been working on a bunch of other exciting projects which will be coming out over the next few weeks. Keep an eye out for a very exciting halloween original song coming at the end of this month!
BIGGEST THANK YOU to the absolute geniuses I had the pleasure to work with on this song! @FrostudioChambersonic arranged the music and they are just incredible! They also have their own UA-cam channel so make sure to go and subscribe! Big thank you also to Luck_Buggy who created the animatic for this video, an artistic WIZARD, every still is breathtaking and you are amazing, make sure to follow them on insta! - / luck_buggy Now for the story!
    ✨BELLES VILLAIN STORY✨
Belle has always been the smartest person in her village, perhaps even the smartest person in the province. But she never held that against anyone. Even when everyone in the village thought she was strange and spoke about her when they thought she couldn't hear, she did her best to simply ignore the whispers and get lost in a book instead. Of course, it bothered her that people spoke about her but as long as she ignored them they were harmless. Until they weren’t harmless anymore.
Belle began receiving advances from men that couldn’t even hope to be her match. Arrogant, brainless Gaston hadn’t so much as picked up a book since he was a child, how could he possibly think she’d marry him? Following this her father was kidnapped and Belle imprisoned in his place by a terrifying Beast. But no more terrifying than the beasts in her books. Belle isn’t someone you want to get on the wrong side of, especially when it comes to her family so did you really think she would go quietly? After all the suffering she had endured at the villages hand? Well, this is where our tale differs from the original and our version of Belle doesn’t take kindly to being locked away. And she certainly doesn’t take kindly to those mistreating her father. She isnt in a forgiving mood and so hardens her heart and makes a different decision.
And so our story follows a similar trajectory to the original, except our Belle isn’t falling in love, she’s plotting revenge. Locked away, Belle bides her time, playing the part of the perfect little prisoner, getting along with her guards, nursing the beast's wounds, putting up just enough of a fight to make it seem realistic. When, in actual fact, she was gathering information and looking for her perfect moment and weapon of choice. Which is when she found the rose.
“Did they all really think I was going to help them? They lock someone away, lock my father away, and expect to not face any consequences? Their fate was sealed as soon as they locked me away. You truly think ill forgive that? I have been mistreated by men who wish to marry me my whole life! My family has been mistreated for far too long. I am better, smarter, more intelligent than all of them combined and its about time I embrace that. I’ll ensure we’re never underestimated again.”
And so Belle tricks the Beast and the castle's inhabitants into thinking she was falling in love with him. Simply killing the Beast wouldn't do, but offering him the thing he most desires and then removing it at the last moment, yes that’ll do nicely.
Soon no one would mistreat her or her family ever again, they will be too afraid. They will never underestimate Belle again. Soon everyone will see Belles true strength. But at the cost of her own humanity?
Disclaimer: These songs are all dressed up as Villain songs, in this case the villainous side of Belle is that She begins to believe she’s better and smarter than everyone and is done with compassion, she’s done pretending they’re her equal. This is spurred primarily from a place of anger at being locked up/underestimated one too many times. HOWEVER, I believe this is a far more fitting ending for Belle, forcibly imprisoning people is obviously wrong and not something our belle is willing to accept. Belle was one of my favourite princesses growing up so I’m giving her the ending I think she should’ve had, with a little evil flair. This Belle is evil, but she’s also kinda in the right.

Also to anyone confused with the storyline - it essentially boils down to the fact that Belle hardens her heart at the start and refuses to see the beast as human because he locked her away and mistreated her father. She’s been underestimated and pushed around by men her whole life, the beast was her last straw. So when she’s locked away she makes the decision then and there to find Justice. Also because like, regardless of whether you’re ‘redeemable’ locking people away against their will is objectively wrong. Hope that helps it make more sense!
Also! (Me again) I’m not trying to say that anyone who enjoys this tale is wrong to! It’s a really fun film! It just has a few flaws as all things do!
I’ll stop there I swear I have so many thoughts about this story I could go for hours 😂

From my perspective, that's why a heroic version of the Mob song following a "what if Gaston humored Maurice instead of being a dick, and discovered Belle was indeed locked in the dungeon by a beast, leading the village to her rescue" would be a good way to start off heroic versions of villain songs. There is literally a point where the mob's fervor against the Beast could have been 100% justified, and at that a point before Gaston's scheming made him irredeemable. Plus you could have a whole arc with him almost getting killed by the Beast when he first visits the castle where he only survives by the interference of Belle to make him truly ingratiated to her. You could say he'd really be taking his lumps then.

Honestly, villain Belle fits like a glove. All the things she had been through in the film, the village saying she doesn't belong there, her dad sick and Gaston taking advantage of it, her being locked and forced to talk to the beast...

Rumplestitskin would be proud of her. This is pretty much her fairytale Lacey version.
...It gets harder to want to keep some of the princesses good hearted for my "Kingdom Hearts" rewrite. Some of them are actually more interesting like this, kinda like how people find villain Naruto better (I'm not saying I don't either, I'm just saying the way most fanfics portray it isn't appealing).
What if I created some sort of "3 Princesses of Darkness" and their 10 guardians thing ? And maybe I could have 4 princesses of Light with 3 guardians. Decisions, decisions... Fanfic is way more complicated than most people give credit for.

Man, that was certainly a dark take for Belle, bravo. In the original, despite how often Belle gets called out for Stockholm Syndrome, she really doesn't have it. Everything was always of her own volition. She chose to stay there to save her father, was even the one to suggest it. She stayed because of that oath, but she always could have left if she wished, and even when beast saved her from the wolves, she could have left him there, or left him at the castle and leave. But she was kind and wanted to help him. It allowed her to begin to see there was more to him, but she never fell in love with him until after he freed her, which, by that point, the Beast had truly come to love her, as he would not keep her trapped as her family suffered and she in turn in her worry. That's what made their tale as old as time.
And now we see what happens when one little twist in Belle's personality turns that all on its head. Between all the hounding from Gaston and being trapped, we see how Belle had far more arrogance in her intelligence here, using it to plan and wait for the right moment to take control. She didn't just want to make Beast suffer, but to take control and turn on all those who looked down on her before. She needed to make their punishment as violent as possible, and setting a crazed Beast on them would be far more than enough. In the end, Beauty became a beast far more terrifying, one born of arrogance and cunning to keep herself free and above all.
Just seeing how wild her hair becomes and her makeup runs truly shows the cracks beneath the skin, showing just how monstrous one can become in any circumstance. Beast was a physical monster with a kind heart whereas Gaston was a black hearted monster truly set on feeding his own ego, but Belle showed herself to be a cunning monster none would suspect.

I have always read it as 'man learning to be the bare minimum while trearing his 'object' of affection like well an object and having no other option (seriously his FATHER'S life is at stake of course she will stay no matter what) bows to her fate and lowers her standards. This story was written by a woman to get girls ready for marriage. 'Be clever and you might not get hurt' and 'you won't be given a choice so try to make the most of it'. Belle was coerced at the end of the day and imprisoned aganist her will. This now THIS makes so much more sense.

@@berilsevvalbekret772 actually in the story the beast was an over privileged brat who was cursed by a beautiful sorceress. He was greedy selfish and didn't love anyone. He even struggled to love belle. his servants tried their best helping him. But in the end he learned to be compassionate and understanding. That's why he released her and belle didn't want to leave. The wolf scene showed something in him that belle didn't see before. Even the servants noticed while belle and the beast started spending time together as they sang "there may be something there that wasn't there before". Belle taught him there was more to life than riches and status. She showed him how to love and how to care for others. It wasn't a man doing the bare minimum. It was a broken man who was made whole and put together by a smart and empowering woman. Gaston was the only man in the film who would do the bare minimum as he wanted to restrict belle and make her a marriage slave. but we see where that got him.
(Edit; Another factor that plays a part is the fact that him falling in love isn't the only thing to break the curse the person he loves has to reciprocate that love as well. only then would the curse be broken.)

She was literally trading herself for her sick Father who would've died in Beast's dungeon. Beast was also violent, yelling, using his intimidating features, and smashed things when he didn't get what he wanted.
Plus the servants were trying to get her to fall in love with her captor. They were only concerned with being a human again. The most they did was ask their master to control their temper.
Gaston was also trying to force himself on her more than once. Even the townspeople were in on it. They never accepted her for who she was and would ostracize her for her intelligence. Then he tried to have her Father committed to an asylum if she didn't marry him.
He was also literally storming the castle with a mob in this version to get her. So we can assume her Father is already captured at this point with the help of the townspeople.

    *Alternate: BELLES VILLAIN STORY:*
She isn't in a forgiving mood and so hardens her heart and makes a different decision.
*And so our story follows a similar trajectory to yours,* _expect there is no rose & no weird deadline for the beast to be cured._ Locked away, Belle bides her time, playing the part of the perfect little prisoner, getting along with her guards, nursing the beast's wounds, putting up just enough of a fight to make it seem realistic.
_Belle doesn't want to just be married off. She doesn't want to just be some house wife, a prisoner, a pet. She sees the riches, the magic, the stories surrounding the castle & the beast inside and decides she will have it all, not as a wife but as queen. SHE WILL TAKE IT._
And so Belle tricks the Beast and the castle's inhabitants into thinking she was falling in love with him, _making him fall in love with her. In secret she use her knowledge from the books she's read & resources in the castle to brew a potion to put the beast to sleep. She puts the potion on her lips, telling the beast that she will be the one to give him true loves kiss._
_The beast closes his eyes and leans into the soft embrace of the girl he loves, believing that when his eyes open he will be returned to his natural state, returned to his kingdom, all with the girl of his dreams by his side. As he opens his eyes, he finds himself in the same dungeon Belle once found herself in, collar round his neck & still a monster. Belle towering over him, preparing to take her kingdom._
Soon no one would mistreat her or her family ever again, they will be too afraid. They will never underestimate Belle again. Soon everyone will see Belles true strength. _The beast little more then a broken pet, used to display her power._
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    “What a genius plan
Truly, did you think this through?
Trap the smartest girl in all the land?

The Beast, no longer having any human feelings now that the curse is permanent, turning on her and devouring her? Also loved the wild hair and facial expressions she has throughout the video.

Someone mentioned a theory that Belle made sure that the Beast fell for her so he wouldn't turn on her. She didn't just earn everyone's trust, she took the Beast heart and changed him. I think if the Beast was his old self, he would've lashed out at Belle even if he was in pain, but here his eyes show so much anguish and betrayal it's legit painful. Like there's not even a hint of anger, he's just so devastated.
It's an interesting metaphor but I'd like to think that Belle and the Beast were parallels to one another. Belle who descends into madness for revenge, a girl who kept quiet and polite despite her intelligence and despite the abuse and the Beast going from a foal hearted boy to a Beast whose heart grew as a man bc of Belle.
I also like to note that Gaston and the Beast had the same eye color but I just adore how they drew them. The utter love the Beast has in his soft gaze vs. Gaston's predatory gaze. And I think Belle has been so used to Gaston's eyes and many others looking at her in such a way, she sees the beast's gaze as the same as all the others.
Most of what Im saying has been said before in this comment section but I just love them! Finally there's this one comment about how this is a tragedy for even Belle, bc in her madness and lust for revenge she didn't notice that Beast genuinely loved her, rather than saw her as an object to own. She lost the other person aside from her father who loved her not bc of her looks, but simply bc he really loved her, thought they found a connection and wanted to change for her. The one person who endulged her love of reading and listened to her.
Like what saddened me the most was this moment was just prior to the moment when the Beast let her go, giving her his last connection to the outside world; the mirror, and being depressed about her leaving to the point he didn't even have the will to fight.

i find it interesting that theres a very clear emphasis on the color of gaston and beast's eyes being blue here when bell was comparing the two as "I've seen this before". She views the two men as the same, both just wanting her as a prize and means to an end. She's too bitter to see that beast has actually been staring at her with tenderness in the beginning, unlike gaston who only saw her as an object. She recognizes that he's fallen for her trap, but she thinks it's only bc she seduced him, not bc beast genuinely changed and grew to love her bc he thought she was kind and gentle
edit: I think some people misconstrued what my comment meant. I wasn't trying to say she's not justified in planning revenge, or that the beast wasn't in the wrong for initially forcing her to be with him, i was just pointing out how in the animatic, there seems to be a thematic emphasis on both men's eyes being blue, and that i think this was meant to show how belle saw them both: oppressive men who just want her for something to gain, that even if one of them seems to have changed in his ways she doesn't see it as incentive to forgive and love him bc of all the pain she's been caused by both of them in the past (which is honestly valid when it comes to trauma/abuse, you don't have to forgive the other person even if they're truly sorry and changed). This wasn't meant to morally point out someone was in the right or not

Most are only saying about how this version of Belle is powerful and free, some even talking shit about the Beast, but the people who are saying this are missing the point entirely. For me this AU is not an empowerment fantasy, is the tragedy of a girl who let her traumas get the better of her and blind her to the love and tenderness of the beast.
She mistook his desperation and solitude as him being another one of the monsters who sought to take advantage of her, but in actuality, just like her, the beast is a very troubled individual who for the first time since his curse felt like a man again. Only to get that trust crushed and be betrayed by the person who made him feel again, and turned into a mindless weapon for her vengeance. In the end who can't see this as a tragedy is pretty much blind to the story unraveling...

    Watch the petals fall,
Desperate as you crawl on your knees to me.
    It´s your final page,
    Fairytale complete,
You see in this world we´re merely players,
But the truth is I´m your beauty you´re the beast.
    Ever just the same,
    Ever a surprise,
    I´ve seen this before,
    Falling at my door,
    Desperate for your prize.
    You thought we´re a match,
Seetheart I am far smarter tan that,
There is no one living that can challenge me,
You’re unworthy and that love is a fact.
    “ooh”
What a genius plan truly did you think this through,
Trap the smartest girl in all the land,
Let you all believe I would go quietty,
While I sat and planed my hand.
I have not spent my life Reading books my hours studying,
To be some desperate prince´s lonely wife,
    Wanna look me away,
Well by all means have your fun with that
But I will be the autor of my life.
So to hell with your flower,
    You´re all idiots for thinking,
That you´d really make it out of this alive
    Tale as old as time.
you are nothing but a monster to me
Less than nothing you´re not worth my pity,
Not even one of you is a rival to what I can do
    Underestimated all this time
Don´t you get it this is my design,
    I´ve made all my moves,
    Seconds from the truth,

This actually explains A LOT about beastadam's freak out when Belle almost touched the rose. "DO YOU REALIZE WHAT YOU COULD HAVE DONE?!"
They never said it but the action and emotion was all you needed. If the rose was damaged? The curse would speed up. Gotta say, if there was ever a great depiction of Belle becoming the monster she loaths? This is the best take. She's been so strong for so long but now she can't anymore. Strong, kind, and compassionate people have a breaking point. This is belle's.

As much as I love the princess turned villains, this one felt furthest for me
      I mean
It would make sense if Belle wasn’t so kind and wasn’t treated with hospitality
But the reason she didn’t turn on the beast was because all his servants were so kind to her, insisting to give him a chance
Than he even saves her life when she runs away, he didn’t have to.
And Lydia even says in the description she tended to his wounds, so this still happened
      Honestly felt off for Belle
I could see her having a villain story if beast actually died
Since she did genuinely start to care for him
But for her to never take pity on those who even offered her father kindness
(And they did. They were very kind to her father. Only beast wasn’t)
      It’s
      Eehhhhhhhhh
It’s a stretch that she would turn out like this
      Maybe under different circumstances
If she wasn’t treated with kindness and hospitality
But the story in the description shows she was?

Hauntingly Chilling. The layers to this make it so good.
The Beast, by this point in the story, had genuine feelings for Belle beyond desperation to break the curse for him and the servants within the castle. Belle, her sanity snapping after feeling used and trapped, being more than intelligent enough to manipulate the Beast to this degree. Both stories are believable, and so the emotional impact comes from both sides.
The air of doom coupled with the haunting melody. The decay of Belle's facade of sanity matched with the closing of the trap, the level of her madness matching the Beast's despair step-by-step, all the way to their final transformations. The last moments of humanity in the beast's eyes, terrified and heartbroken, was the sadistic cherry on top.
The last bit - the unleashing of the True Beast? It doesn't matter if Belle is in control or not. It doesn't matter if he obeys or turns on her. She's beyond caring about that at this point. The madness has settled in, and the True Beast will do what any person driven to insanity by despair and bitterness wants, as their goals are the same.
They will burn the world to feel its warmth.

The begin when there is little color show Belle playing along with this fantasy that she's in love with the beast.
In the middle, where there is the most color, it shows how Belle is revealing her true intentions and interests to use the beast as a pawn in her game.
In the end, when the color fades, it shows how Belle lost herself to this madness, yet how she doesn't care if she's thrown out, because it will never happen again.

    Story Tyme:
Belle stands at the castle balcony, watching as the villagers try and fight away the beast. Fire burns as Belle's face holds a beautiful yet sinister and insane smile. The beast continues to go haywire, destroying any ounce of life he sees.
Belle walks back inside the palace, sitting down at the Beast's desk and flipping through the spell book. The screams of agony fill Belle's ears as she listens as if it was music in an orchestra. But soon, the screams die down and the beast pounces up onto the balcony, growling and scratching the floors as blood drips from his golden fur.
"Aww, there's my puppy." Belle cooed, beckoning the Beast closer. The Beast inches closer, his paws creating heavy padded footsteps before he sits infront of the woman. Belle smirks, petting his head and scratching his chin. "Are you done?" Belle asks the Beast. The Beast, of course, doesn't respond nor react, simply licking his paws clean as his mentality is fully reduced into a feral, animal-like state. Belle smiles at this, continuing to pat her newfound pet before going back to her books. This was all just the beggining after all.

But what is interesting is how Belle preceded them by using what distinguishes her, and this made the ending more attractive than what would happen if the monster turned into a merciless monster. Belle obtained justice in ensuring the safety of her and her father, but what she says has nothing to do with This matter, I mean, for that reason, I do not think that everyone who loves a murderous character supports him while he wants to kill the bullies as well. As you can see, Hasna did not care about the words of the villagers because they do not represent a threat, like Cassie Hack, who did not give a face to the bullies who hated her, but she got rid of the serial killers because they kill teenagers and those in Her class and the bullies as well

This version of Belle is so terrifying to me...
Beauty And The Beast is one of my favorite tropes when it comes to romance and I've already watched more than once the original movie. So seeing this, is both so creepy... But it makes so much sense too.
Belle could be described as two things specifically: Smart, and kind.
She isn't a damsel in distress at all, but rather a girl who is underestimated by her love for knowledge and much rather prefers that than married life. Until she meets the Beast, the first "man" who didn't shame her for liking reading, encouraged to read, and didn't force her to marry him. She lets herself be imprisoned, and falls in love with him because while she's smart, she's still a good hearted person who lets her feelings and morality guide her.
That's why she's so scary in here. Because she isn't that much different from her original version, original Belle could've done this. This is nothing but Belle snapping. Stopping to believe that things could ever be better, and rather taking things into her own hands even with cruel ways.
And after all, this is Beauty and the Beast's meaning: Looks are deceving.

In my opinion, she is a very different Bella from the movie. Her main characteristic in the movie was her empathy and kindness, which she doesn't have here; It is possible that this Belle is more traumatized by Gaston's harassment, so Belle saw that Beast wanted her as a trophy just like Gaston and unlike the movie, the scene with the wolves did not exist when Beast saved her, so she does that Belle would never see the goodness that Beast had.

Woah. I'm...floored. I was expecting "Gaston kills Beast and Belle gets revenge" but this...this is a true villain. Like, there are some villain songs that you have created that feel villainous but are ultimately achieving some good. Aurora, Cinderella, Merida, and so forth are all sympathetic in their own way to the point that you are still rooting for them. But this...this is different. Belle has lost her sanity. She's someone so angry with being mistreated that she has completely snapped. Her compassion, her love, it's gone now. She not only hurts the Beast, but takes immense pride and satisfaction in watching his humanity be stripped away and toying with his life like a plaything.
The irony of Belle calling herself beautiful at this point is also really clever. The whole point of the film was that she was beautiful because of her heart, not her looks. And the newly created monster with no humanity follows Belle's order to attack the village because Belle's heart is more beastly than his.
This may not be my PERSONAL favorite villain song, but it is the most fantastic one yet. I don't know how you not only turned such a kind person into a monster that I genuinely fear, but did it in a believable yet downright evil way. This isn't a tragic anti-hero, this is a monster. And I couldn't be more satisfied.

So the intellectual never actually asks any questions and is easily distracted by everything.

@@alorapendrak9752 um ACTUALLY belle does figure out the castle is under a spell pretty quickly, she mentioned after the _be our guest_ song that “i couldn’t possibly sleep now, it’s my first time in an enchanted castle!”
what belle didn’t know was how to break the spell, she does get curious and goes into the west wing and tries to touch the rose, but she didn’t know loving the beast would break that spell.
i do like how in the live action they made belle the inventor and tries to keep girls in the village how to read, but they took away her love for fairytales and replaced the book with Romeo and Juliet? :/

An enchanted castle isn't the same as a curse. I got the impression she understood the castle was magical but she never figured out she was here in hopes she'd break the curse. The plot just wants her really blind. Which I get but it does kind of take away from the intellect factor. The plot needs her to be a certain way so she can't be too smart. @@lovelyjuliexo I actually liked the Romeo and Juliet thing the writers clearly were mocking the character but Belle is a French girl so her being able to read Shakespeare despite it being in not her first language is fairly impressive.

I think it’s the opposite though? Belle never had power, she’s always at someone else mercy. Gaston, the village, the beast. Sure the beast is a good person at the end but everyone around her wants her to fall in love and break their curse. Remember Belle dreams of adventure, though she reads romances as referenced in the movie. Belle only sings about her wanting to see more of the world. Then her ending is literally living in a palace with a prince. That’s not an adventure, Belle, while she loves him only started looking for love when she was trapped with no one but sympathizers of the beast. While it’s sad she feels so trapped her situation is exactly that. She’s trapped with expectations that shouldn’t be hers and are instead force upon her

I must say, I really love this take on Belle!
She's tired of being seen as an object for someone to have. The town thinks she's weird for her intelligence, Gaston doesn't care for her beyond her beauty and in the end tries to force her to marry him. Even to the Beast and the other furniture of the castle, she was seen as only a means to an end: to break the curse the Enchantress put on them all so long ago, the love part only ever coming second.
In this, she's refusing to be an object of someone else's story. A pawn to be used on someone else's board. She uses her intelligence and cunning to get what she wants, and taking out everyone who dared to try and put her down in the first place.
It almost makes me wonder if she truly could be considered a villain if she's lashing back out at everyone who used her.

    • @Ares99999
      @Ares99999 7 місяців тому +27

Yeah, she is TRULY a villain. Yes, the townsfolk were gossipy and found her a bit weird, but she on her side found them simple, tedious and boring to be around. Even her first song actually showed a level of contempt for the village. If Belle was looking down her nose at the 'simple' folk, then you can't blame them for not being all that warm to her.
The Beast was cursed because he was rude when he was a kid, and the people of the castle were cursed for... being there. It was a completely disproportionate punishment, and they were really desperate by the time Belle appeared. Despite this, most of them were genuinely kindly and immediately tried to curb the Beast's inflexibility.
Gaston was a jerk. No questions.
Her father Maurice was always loving and supportive. He'd be appalled at what Belle did here.
So, yeah, she's a villain. Let's not attempt to make her anything else.

Anna used her sister's unwillingness to kill her as a weapon.
Mulan used misogyny and the Mandate of Heaven against China to raise an army of peasants. Peasants angry at their rulers really worked against China.
Merida used her anger, her archery skills, and wisps to take down her father.
Cinderella used her FG to crash the prince's wedding and take him out (I view the ending of her video as her taking him out as she knew what he was up to).

She’s been planning and calculating this the entire time she’s been trapped there, looking for something to use against the Beast. The imagery of the chess board at 2:36 really plays into and speaks to this mentality, and I absolutely *love* it. She may be 20lbs of crazy in a 5lb bag dressed in a ball gown, but those bags are full of just as much intelligence. It starts at dinner when Mariano proposes marriage, but Isabela delicately closes the box with the ring, refusing the proposal, leaving everyone shocked. the scene changes to Abuela arguing with Isabela, then slapping her in the face and locking her in the room! After crying on the floor for hours, she looks ahead and sees that she made a carnivorous plant that was alive! She then begins to sing about all her years of pretending, spending her life in silence being forced to be someone she wasn't, and never getting a taste of freedom! she starts attacking the house with thousands of poisonous and carnivorous plants, ending that life of Perfect Granddaughter and Perfect Family! Or Chang’e from the excellent Over The Moon, either Ultraluminary or Yours Forever would work great, maybe have Chang’e grow mad from isolation and grief, as she tries to bring back Houyi to no avail, and violently snaps at Fei Fei who is trying to reach out to her, as she decides to keep her on the moon forever, both to have SOMEONE to talk to/keep as a handmaiden while singing to her?

I don't think Beast and the rest of residents in the castle, should be the one punished. Sure Beast imprisoned her, but no one was taking the whole prison seriously. And luminaire and the rest of the servants were so nice to her.
So I think it would make more sense if the villagers were the "victims" of her wrath. They talk badly about her father and her and they imprisoned Maurice, so I think it would make more sense if Bell become a villain while she's a princess or queen. Imagine her, sitting on the throne ruling over land, with her beloved husband and servants. Beast could give up his power or be her marionette, because he knew, that she was much more intelligent and fit to rule. So she would be the true ruler and would rule with an iron fist. With that kind of power she could slowly torment her former village and make their life misrable.

Of course, in this version, the servants willingly participated in helping Beast seduce Belle by trying to make her see there's more to their master than what there appears to be. Such coercion is an affront to her, as if they're insulting her superior intellect. To her, they ALL deserve to be punished for underestimating her.
