- In this episode, we install a Currie anti-rock and get some real-world seat time. We go over the testing we will do with this swaybar. However this time we are going to look at testing this swaybar on the road and in different conditions. We are going to compare the on-road performance of the stock jeep swaybar vs aftermarket.
This one is a long one but if you want to see the full reason why I installed this swaybar, skip to the end.

Great job on the install video! I ran an anti-rock on my Tj an was super happy with it.
Thank. you! I will agree it has been a worthwhile upgrade. Ill have an update video soon to speak more about it, but I love how the anti-rock handles on the street.
How about it does in a high way
@@777VAZ Honestly, It handles great on the highway. I would 100% not worry about installing this and running on the highway. My biggest concern was highway and mountain travel. I can say that I drive highways with confidence!
Looks awesome, have been thinking about get one but not 100% sure yet
The one thing that stopped me from getting one for all these years was the idea that the on road handling would suffer. My jeep is my only DD.
I can say with absolute confidence the affect to on road handling is very minimal. The body roll is definitely not noticeable. Even had highway speeds through mountain passes. I probably have 3000 miles on it now. I’ll release another video after I test it out on the road more.
update video released!
Would have really enjoyed the explanation of how to accurately adjust these. I'm a little stumped on my install for the XJ. Think I know what I'm doing but would rather watch someone else do it 1st correctly.
Which part are you trying to adjust, the height of the arms or how tight the sway bar is?
whats the advantage of this over just using a quick disconnect?
Good Question. When you disconnect a front sway bar you loose stability and the front and rear axles no longer work together as a pair. With this system you do not have to disconnect anything, it makes the front and rear axle work together, and keeps the rig much more stable when off road. The amount of articulation lost is only 1/4 inch. Does that last 1/4 matter? I am not the expert but the theory is that the last little bit of flex is probably useless because the tires most likely don't have any weight on them, or traction. That is a very quick and dirty run down on the different between the two. I can say its really nice having a tunable system and not having to disconnect anything. Here is a great video from Currie himself. ua-cam.com/video/VvOCtXtGUHQ/v-deo.html
Should have used a bigger knife to open the box.
How does the saying go? The bigger the tool the bigger the fool? Wondering which I am.
install the arms parallel to the FRAME …………..much easier
The arms can not be ran parallel to the frame on a TJ. If they are their is a chance that the sway bar links can invert.
