First of all...thanks for such greatness of an upload. The thing is...most rock n' roll fans praise Frank's unquestionable guitar playing abilities; however, I've never seen anyone praise his real deal (raw yet mellow!!) ability of singing. This guy rocks like humanity's survival depended on it. Long Live Frank
Saw Frank in Wiesbaden Germany in 83. Fucking Awesome concert. Was on the front of the left side stage. Was deaf for 3 days. Fantastic show, Fantastic music.
Absolutely one of the forgotten greats. Juggernaut is my favorite album. Brings backs alot of good times. Still rock out with juggernaut and mash the pedal down n crank it all the way up
Let me tell you all something I had three operations on my right arm they told me I would never play again. I lost 12 years of guitar playing and I had lots of friends bring me back to play again But it was seeing Frank Marino that did it back 2 years ago at BB Kings in NYC this guys holds his own with them all Joe Satch Vai etc Gary Moore I would love to see him do a G3 I am the lardmasterr he is the guitarmaster I learned all my licks from him just like steve vai did like he said he rocks
Just saw Frank in Chicago in August and it was an honer to be standing 6 feet in front of one of my guitar heros while he played this, hadn't seen him since Joggernot came out but he didn't play it,blew me away then and now!!!!
I've been a fan of Frank Marino's since I first heard the Live album back in the early/mid '80's. Got to see him open for Stevie Ray Vaughan in Montreal in '86. He's an awesome guitar player, I'd love to see him again.
So so true Zeppelin 911hes a Tue great. All around. Been a Marino head for yrs.saw last back in 05 at jacks up in northern va.3n a halve hrs non stop shredding!!!!
I was at that concert as well. it was great. the Ashboy Dukes opened the show. Marino played for 2 hours straight as they were asked to keep going because Vaughan was late in arriving from the funeral of his father. It was a warm and windy night.
Later on in life, Frank's bass player at that concert, became a good friend and room-mate of mine when I lived up in St-Jovite. He is the left handed player you see in some of the videos. I also saw the rhythmics there (it was the Millerfest). The Marino/Vauhan concert was one of the best concerts have have seen.
I agree,.... a few months back I dug out my original LP and burned it to CD,.... I listened to it for 2 weeks straight,.... all are awsome songs.... Midnight Highway, Ditch Queen, Maybe its Time,.... great Rock and Roll,.... I gave a copy to a rocker friend and he did the same,.... great memories from that Album!!!
Yeah, that's the one, at Jarry Park. I got there just as the Ashbury Jukes were playing, and they were alright, but then Marino came on and just wailed. As you say, Stevie was late from getting back from Texas, but did he ever put on an amazing show. Still one of my all time favorite shows I've seen. Nice to talk to someone else who was there.
The first Band of the evening was called "Southside Johnny & the Ashbury jukes" if i remember well ,or something like that , but then Frank came on and just blew my mind away....and not to say that you are wrong , but , it was a COLD and windy evening...lol.....but hey , it's almost 25 years ago... I saw him again at "le festival d'été de Québec" a few years ago with Steve Hill and ZZ top....another wonderful night!
There is a great place in baltimore called the "rams head live" Small but great for 400 - 500 people to squeeze into and have a great view. Frampton played there a couple years ago and it was awesome. Not a bad spot in the place.
my dad saw him in sherbrooke, quebec.. ive been playing guitar for a while now and have wanted to learn this song but cannot find any tabs.. so i've been doing it by ear.. its long though so if any one has a tab it would be appreciated!!
Yeah, it was a 3 day thing wasn't it? Elton John, The Eurythmics, and SRV were the headliners if I remember correctly(which is definitely up for debate). I seem to remember those 3 names for some reason, but it was a long time ago. I only went to the SRV night.
This sounds alot like a Traffic song from the early seventies. Is this an original Traffic song or is there any relationship with this paticular band and Traffic. I believe it was Steve Winwood who was in Traffic.
I like this guy, but I can't find the fuckin' sound studio and the songs there is On "power of rock'n'roll and "Juggernault". My two favorite great albums.
I fully agree, one of my friends in college turned me onto him and gary moore. I've argued with Clapton fans many a times that he and Robin Trower are both better.
Ladies and Gentlemen Guitar Hero Frank Marino. Priceless.
Can't understand why he's so
underrated? One of the greatest rock guitarists in history!
Because the people need to catch up with how good he is slowly they are doing so
He’s not in the mainstream by his choice - talented, but stupid 🤪
Saw him in 75 or 76 along with Black Sabbath and Nazereth. He stole the show. Amazing.

Le plus grand guitariste de touts les temps . il est sous estimé parce que ses origines sont italo arab même s'il est canadien de naissance.
Awesome guitarist and tour!
Sublime...
