    Great product worked well with my Samsung Galaxy s7 edge the instructions were to leave it for 10 minutes but when I did this, it barely did anything so I left it for and hour and the scratches are barely noticeable, it needs a couple of applies to permanently remove the scratch other than that I don't think this product is good for very deep scratches or long and hard ones, which I didn't use it for, I would recommend only for very small micro scratches that's not very noticeable other than that great product

    You guys are missing the idea. Toothpaste has tiny grains in it so it works as a very small caliber sanding paper
    You might as well buy the lowest caliber sanding paper or sanding paste and apply it but you need to actually squeeze hard for a long time. The point is to polish your screen again to a flat surface not to fill the scratches with toothpaste.
    It works but it's hard to do :) someone with experience knows how to turn a rough finish to a mirror so that applies here

    Toothpaste only acts as a polish. It only polishes, not fills scratches. If you want to fix your screen then just get some fine superglue. They make glues for plastics and that’s what you want to use. Apply a very thin layer of glue and spread it with a flat rubber scraping tool like an icing spreader. Then after 3 minutes put some isopropanol on a rag and wipe the screen once over but don’t apply to much force or you’ll remove the glue that’s set in the scratches.

    • @buttersstotch4956
      @buttersstotch4956 Рік тому +2

      I don’t doubt this works but toothpaste especially baking powder based toothpaste has a very light sanding effect due to the micro-grains in it so it’s not so much polishing as it is buffing

    My phone got taken away from one of the coaches and he took it to one of the deans. Then at the end of the day I asked for it back, as the coach said I could. But the dean said that I would have to wait until tomorrow to get it because she had already locked her office up. And then next day I got it back and the headphones were all tangled and the battery was out and before I got it taken away it was at like 90% cause it was 2nd period. The worst thing about what happened when it was locked up was they gave me the biggest scratch on my phone and you can put your nail over it and just feel it

    Try Baking Soda not powder to polish off the scratches and wear them down and a little water. Then use Nano car waxto give it the shiny protective coating back on the glass. It does work that way I've found out after many many trials!

      I did it too, actually I think it worked a little bit, the scratch seems to be less visible, but I think it has removed a little bit of the protective layer against water, now in the space where I rubbed, the water is retained, not so in the parts where I did not rub with toothpaste, where the water slips... by the way, I don't recommend this technique, maybe it's worst, I must admit, I pushed a little on that part too.

    Put a dollop of toothpaste on a Cotten pud
    Leave to dry a little
    Rub all over screen in very small circles for about 30 seconds.
    Leave on screen to completely dry then wipe off.

    Tooth paste is very very very mildly abrasive.... I actually rough up my metal and plastic watercolor palettes with tooth paste, to stop my watercolors from beading up on the palettes. Iam pretty sure you want to wait until it's dry to start rubbing it all over the screen.
