Hm.. Let me preface this by saying that it's quite unfair to title your video "issues again" considering that it never actually had an issue other than you not programming it properly. Same here. No it doesn't have "an issue again". I'll walk you through it. You turn it on and get it into programming mode. So far, so good. At 4:25 you reach "item number 6", which is indeed the correct sub menu. This is where you have it wrong. You didn't hold the button long enough. The beeps after you pressed the button aren't "setting 6", it's telling you that you're now at sub menu 7 (reverse force) which is incredibly apparent after you continue to press the button up to "9 beeps", which is exactly how many sub menus you have on the ESC. Later then after you fumbled around it beeped "twice red", that's when you went into a sub menu (i think you went into sub menu 4 - voltage cutoff, and the ESC told you it's on setting 2 with two beeps). I don't know where you got the 3 seconds from when trying to get into a sub menu, read point 6 in the procedure. When the ESC is at sub menu 6, you hold the set button until it beeps at you. Those beeps then tell you which setting you're on. It's not "three seconds", that's to save it. Same when you reached point 8 for the punch setting. You didn't hold it long enough so it jumped to sub menu 9. Hold the button until you get a set of beeps while you're still holding the set button.
m4ini not sure I understand but it kinda made sense idk why the Losi is more complicated then the Kraton if you saw that video it goes as it should ?? And I got the three seconds off spectrum smart esc video 👍👍
m4ini and as for the title I’ve had several problem with the rc ...the receiver failed the steering issues and so I titled it with a ? Mark because I’m unsure of this issue at this point 🔥🔥
@@earlmoorhead5555 Nah didn't watch that, not interested in the Kraton but soaking up all DBXL-E videos - mine's finally arriving today. :D Maybe i didn't explain clearly enough. The main problem is that you don't hold the "SET" button long enough. Imagine the ESC programming like going down a road. You start walking (in this case, you enter programming mode). Then you have nine side streets (the sub menus like brake force, reverse force, punch etc). In those side streets you have houses (the setting itself, like punch 2, punch 3 etc). You walk to the side street you want, you hold SET to let the ESC know that you want to enter that side road (that's where you got it wrong), then you choose the house you want to go to. But because you didn't hold SET long enough, it didn't go into "side street 6" for brake settings, it went to ask you if you want to go to side street 7 instead. You didn't enter the sub menu. Try it: go to sub menu 6 and just hold the SET button until you hear "an amount" of beeps (depending on which setting you're on). Trust me. The "hold three seconds" is to save the setting once you set it to whatever you want. It tells you in the manual too, it tells you to hold the SET button to enter the menu until it flashes red. Not a specific amount of time.
The 2.0 and Kraton 8s new esc's are being sent out un calibrated well. The endpoints of steering and full throttle are at 85% or so. If using stock dx2e you have to go through the steps by full reverse/rt steer etc. and twist knob to endpoint. But have to rebind reciever for full throttle BUT I had some brief wheelspin while re calibrating. Scary. TAKE TIRES OFF lol. Both mine had alot more power and better steering. Big difference. Its a process but mine were lagging and were fixed.
I actually had no problem at all programming the brakes to 75% using the beeps. But I did read the manual. On the other hand, spektrum servos suck the big one. Mine broke on the second set of batteries. My brother got a kraton 6s about a week ago and the spektrum servo has burnt up already.
I had something similar on a band new Kraton 8s. #1 Received my Kraton 8s and have ran it 1 1/2 times. First drive was no problems. I was just driving around in the front yard and up and down the street just getting used to it. Second set of batterys was the same just putting around in the front yard for less than 10mins. I had to do something in the house so I parked and turned the truck off. When I came back and turned it on the ESC would not go through it start up flash/beeping/cell check. All it does is flash red/sec when turned on. I have tried charging the batterys, different fully charged batterys, rebinding / calibration, setting the end points on the controller and rebinding. The Esc will not accept calibration when trying to set it up. I have looked online I have gone through the setup in the manual step by step nothing I've done will fix this issue as the ESC will not accept neutral, full throttle, full reverse. On some rare occasion ive have got it passed the red/blinking /beeping by tricking the ESC like turning the controller off and back on when calibrating so I know the calibration was not right but regardless it was passed step stage. It would do its normall start up and arm them immediately flash green light no sound about 15 to 20 times and then flash red/green 3 times and light would go out and you could do nothing except turn it off and repeat the process. At this point I have contacted HH and sent in the ESC and controller. Very frustrating to spend that kind of money and have issuse right from the start. HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS ISSUE?
XAPSRxCasper I’m glad it’s not just me but sucks it’s happening to us I’ve put two receivers in it and they work for awhile and burn up now I’m changing everything 🔥🔥💪💪👍👍

Manually trying to set ESC's can be a real pain in the arse. I use a programming card with my Hobbywing. Get yourself a programming card because setting your ESC visually beats manually every time 100%

Did you figure this out because I just got one and I’m trying to set brakes to 75% and for some reason I can make it beep 8 times on the brake force settings
I see what it's doing. it's going to the next setting 7 which is the max reverse setting. You see when you click on it again it goes to eight then nine then back to one so all your doing again is scrolling through the settings menu. You're not actually changing the punch set.
@@earlmoorhead5555 Yea, that is possible but those parts should be waterproof just like your receiver and ESC. I'm surprised your receiver went bad. I have the DBXL-E 2.0 and the Kraton 8s
