    This is that hobby that at first looks like simple fun, but once you get into it you realize it’s all engineering, testing and learning. I’m having a lot of satisfaction with my nprc build - lots of geometry and cad work, haha. Hopefully it all pays off with some good results.

      When I bought my DBXL they said put in gas run all day. More like run once falls apart then upgrade all crap Losi parts as fast as possible and loc tite everything!

    I’ve never had good luck running 2 steering servos. I learned that once 1 servo slows down due to normal wear, they begin to fight each other then they both go! So I just get a really strong and fast 1 and eliminate the other!

    Early gang!!! 👊👊👍👍 castle definitely has tons of adjustments through the computer. I really need to pull my Kraton & Outcast EXB steering apart because no matter what I do it’s off center. I think the sub trim for my steering is like 90 to the right to get the wheels straight. It seems to have more steering 1 way then the other.🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ 👊👊👍👍

    So after whatching both videos i see the steering issue is fixed! The more travel by setting the links to the outer points seems to be the answer 🧐 hopefully the stock servo is able to handle the 8 volts without problems.!? May you should try to get back to lower bec voltage for saving a servo?

    My next motor will be a Castle 🏰 to put in my Infraction. Need to some upgrades. Spektrum esc and motors constantly play out.

    Pivot ball on left side inner steering link looked a little loose to Earl I am watching in 360p at moment and maybe I'm just seeing things LOL 👍

    The left steering knuckle ball joint that attaches to the steering rack looks loose. Go through and loctite all the turnbuckle attachment points to the shock towers front and rear. I had mine come loose at a few spots.

    That castle system seems to be popular and after seeing its performance in your dbxl-e its worth the money but I've read a couple of guys say they had them go up in smoke right off the bat. Would a ripple pax be wise to put in along with the system? Just asking.

      That was a serious issue, mine did and almost ny house too 🤣🤣🤣🤣 but now they fix it and the Xlx2 is a solid esc with no competition 😎

    Did you change the servo to a new one or adjust the stock one??

  • @orangemound135

    Do have to computer 🖥 to set the motor or motor comes already set???

    • @michaelvankirk3576
      @michaelvankirk3576 3 роки тому

      Motor comes already set if you want to go into the castle link and change stuff that's an option and they give you a free coupon for a castle link with every purchase of in motor and ESC combo

      @@michaelvankirk3576 I think it would make more sense just to package the link with every esc instead of making someone wait for another shipment.

    • @michaelvankirk3576
      @michaelvankirk3576 3 роки тому +1

      @@Blueknight1960 I think so too but I guess it's cheaper to do with the way they're doing it and you know about business it's all about the money 💰💰

      You need castle link to set motor direction if it spinning backwards you can flip in most controller but brakes won’t work correctly and if you flip wires on the esc you can’t run the sensor wire so you need castle link to adjust these things 💯💯💯
