    STRENGTHTAPE® Kinesiology Tape can assist to provide neurological and mechanical stability without decreasing circulation or restricting range of motion. Ankle instability can be caused by sprains of ligaments, strains of the muscles, neurological deficits, or de-conditioning. Use this application to provide stability without the decrease in circulation and restriction of motion from a brace or athletic taping. Please remember to visit a healthcare professional for evaluation. STRENGTHTAPE® will stick for up to 7 days.
    Tips:
    Don't touch adhesive
    Remove backing paper completely before laying ends down
    Press ends down with no stretch
    Rub all loose edges down
    Don't tape behind knee
    If having difficulty self-applying, have another person apply
    Rub all loose edges down
    Be careful not to catch edges when putting on socks and shoes

    not easy to do alone and when at the same time you have a knee ligament rupture and unable to bend your knee ! useful VDO thanks for sharing.

    Wow this is the second time ive tried kinesiology tape, once for my tendonitis and now for my injured ankle and I gotta say! They work so well and you immediately feel better! I get a lot of joint and muscle pain and this will definitely be my go to! I was skeptical when the pharmacist mentioned recommended it to me, but it really works!

    So I get ankle pain when I run and do physical activities. I was discouraged to continue working out but I decided to do this again. If I get ankle pains I just need to wrap for ankle stability?

      Yes, u can try that and ease into whatever activities that cause pain. Make sure to stretch and also do some ankle strengthening exercises with range of motion (ROM) exercises. If it gets worse or continues then you def need to see a doctor or your health care provider. Over the counter anti-inflammatory medicines like Motrin/ibuprofen, Aleve, Naprosyn or their generics work great in preventing and treating pain and inflammation, as long as they are safe for you to take. If in doubt, check with your doctor. Hope it helps!

      Yes :) I used some on Sunday from returning to injury due to a sprained ankle, probably rushed recovery due to a important game but it gave an incredible amount of support and my confidence on pushing for sprints and diving into tackles were improved due to the tape.

    I just used generic kinesiology tape. I was doubtful at first, but it….surprisingly works? I felt no pain on my ankle region. I don’t really know the science, but could just be a placebo effect or it actually works.

    How days rest? Anterior tibiofibular ligament is thickened-chronic sprain. Recovery time???? Plz reply?

      If it is grade 1 injury then 2 to 4 weeks ,and if its grade 2 injury then 6 to 8 and if its grade 3 sever injury then it takes 8 to 12 weeks.

      I don’t know about that my ankle mri still shows grade 2. Moderate sprain 12 weeks after injury and renaculum still not holding my tendons down but that happened 8 weeks tendon still dislocating so no scar tissue I guess had formed enough . Not torn over stretched

      Bcuz the tension could provide a force of Eversion which is able to prevent injury from inversion ankle sprain

    Can you show an average person doing this? Miss Flexible is very pretty but not everyone is able to do all of that.

      this is an average person.... (flexibility wise for her age)....not everyone is able to do so but this should be our "average" unless you are elderly/handicapped.pregnant/ this type of mobility should not be a problem....
