Unstoppable! - Incredible Silver Coin Day Metal Detecting a 200 Year Old Homesite!

We began metal detecting in the front yard of this 1820s homesite because that’s where the most foot traffic would have been back then. Seems pretty straightforward and the day started off great with some old buttons, pewter cutlery, coins, and interesting relics from centuries ago. But then while talking to the homeowner he showed me some old photos of the house from the 1930s and I could see a small child playing near a structure in one of the pastures so I decided to check that area out, and holy cow was that a good decision. Silver coin after silver coin popped from the ground, all in incredible condition, including a monster that I very rarely find. Which each old coin I screamed out to Doug but he was having his own success searching around the house. Because I’m typically distracted with all the filming it’s a rare day when I find the most stuff, but this little girls childhood play area was so magical that on this day my machine was unstoppable!
