I have covered WCU Athletics for a number of years and that includes football. And the PRIDE of the Mountains Marching at Western Carolina Univ has transformed into one of the BEST bands in the country. Great job up the GREAT work... Chris
I spent 10 years in this school to get degrees in Music Education, Masters in Music education, and Masters in Educational Media. They work you hard so you have something when you are done. This stadium was used in my last two years as I still played in the band and County Orchestra. Great school with a lovely area all around. It is out by itself so we could let the sound bounce off of the buildings, and no one was bothered.
This is so awesome to watch. Brings back memories of when I performed with Pride of the Mountains in 99 and it was the Earth Wind and Fire Live show. This band only gets better!
