Hi Guys, I built the lamp post using leftover Cedar from the kitchen build and marine plywood for the flat panels, base and Top. Hope you enjoyed the video. Please share it and check out my instagram for daily project updates and short videos. Thanks! instagram.com/jpartandhome/
I watch all your videos and I love your channel, but I personally never use molding on any of my projects because I have a very minimal aesthetic. Oddly enough, I love your use of it in your projects. I guess it goes to show that while personal taste may vary, the appreciation of great craftsmanship is impossible to deny while viewing your work. Your home is complimented by your work and has a great style and theme to it. Although it is different from mine, it suits you perfectly! I learn an immense amount from watching these and hope to apply some of the techniques to my woodworking and home projects in the future. Wonderful work, Jon!
Sunday wouldn't be Sunday without a video to watch from this taleted guy! thanks John for your commitment and passion, it must influence lots of people around the world.
This video was just satisfying to watch in many ways. Very peaceful and relaxing. Watching your work wakes up that little voice in my head that says "take your time, do not rush, and your project can come out as good as Jons" haha
Jon you need some of that Kaizen Foam for your drawer! Great build as usual. And again you demonstrate you are the King of Miters, always a squeaky tight perfect fit!
With all the "None-wood" materials available nowadays I am surprised to see you using wood for this project, but as with all projects the mouldings make them look a thousand dollars. It looks great painted and the paint brings all the parts together.

Hello from Brazil!

So glad to see I'm not the only person who keeps tools in a drawer without some kind of organization or foam cut-outs.
