- Waking up to snowfall in France was wonderful today as we start our new life in France within a different region of France for 2023.
I take you around the property today enjoying the snowfall to show you our fishing lakes where we intend to enjoy some great Carp fishing.
The property is a registered fishery in France so we may accommodate those wishing to enjoy a French carp fishing holiday in the future.

You can see from the video that we are surrounded by woodland and also that we are having trees fall down in strong winds - in a future video I will take you for a walk in the woodland and show you how many trees have fallen down. My intention is to clear away the fallen trees to use for firewood, clear the areas and plant new trees with enough distance from one another to thrive and grow strong.
Also around the property are huge swathes of self-seeded witches'- broom and I will be clearing these areas to plant new trees.
In this region of France snow is not common so to wake up with snowfall today was really special, I hope you enjoyed this snowy walk around the property today.

Yes I had to come in after filming - no insulation in my boots...lol
FW and Like no.5. We had about a week of it before Christmas and despite the forecast saying we are getting more, so far snow free in 2023. Shame about the fallen trees but like you say, plenty of firewood, cheers Alan
Thanks Alan, i guess we have 40 or 50 trees down in total so enough firewood to last several years once i buy a wood burner..lol Planted 20 new trees already and once the fallen trees have been cleared away that will give more space for planting, I'm making sure the new trees have plenty of room, I think some are coming down as they are planed to close to one another
