1:06 That gave me chills. Really. We have seen a lot of brutal deaths on AOT. Really crude deaths. An yet, they were allowed by the editor. Knowing than there was a death so bad than even the same editor couldn't stand... Almost made me feel happy about the actual fate of Sasha.
Oh gosh that’s so true.. I can’t imagine how horrific it would be. Stan the editor for saving us from that for our potato girl 😭

@@laurakrystel Probably not be able to slip away from Connie's dad due to the blood from his eyes and ended up sacrificing herself to stab him in the remaining eye. Also I read somewhere else that this editor crying is exaggerated. Isayama wasn't sure if he wanted to kill Sasha or not so he presented both versions to the editor and the editor "cried" as a joke to indicate that he prefers to keep Sasha alive for longer. So it didn't actually bring him to tears.

Isayama likes the number 13 very much, you can find it in every detail:
Titan shifters have a life span of only 13 years
On page 7 of Chapter 122, there are 13 fingers pointing at Ymir
Eren and Mikasa first appeared in manga on page 13
Eren is the 104th training corps, and 104 can be divisible by 13
Erwin is the commander of the 13th survey corps
Four years later, Eren's height has grown from 170 to 183 cm, which is 13 cm longer
Mikasa has a character song name 13の冬 (13 of winter)
I almost forgot to say,
The Attack on Titan animation was aired in 2013
in the anime season 4 trailer there were 14 fingers, that were pointed at Ymir.
@@childishisnotachild7277 Hope that MAPPA will correct this error when part 2 comes out 🧐

The wall titans are actually 60 meters their feet are buried under ground 10 meters
Yes, this is such a large misconception in the community. It's clearly stated in the season 1mid title cards.
Wait really, I thought the mid episode info cards told that the wall titans are the same height as Bert's collosal. Since its below the ground, Bert's titan is taller than the wall
Edit: ok wait , now I get it , all collosal titans are 60 meters .
@@mememanathome2802 their feet are buried 10 meters underground
Logical
Nope, the colossal titan are 60 meters, while the wall titans are just 58 meters.
Zeke and Hanji were teh smartest.
Erwin was the one who was thinking outside of the box though.
Both Zeke and Hange are the smartest because they scored 11/10 in an intelligence category.
@@childishisnotachild7277 They are the smartest overall but I believe Erwin is better at strategy and tactic.
@@keyzzzzz4700 Erwin is indeed a tactical genius. He's able to see the bigger picture, and he has sharp talents of formulating plans.
No. Just no. Erwin thought entirely inside a box with "Use X as bait" labeled on the side of it. He had presence, yes, which is critical for getting soldiers to sign on to dangerous plans. But Armin's plans were better.
Ofcourse on the other hand I don't know why Zeke is even rated, since Marley's plans seem to have been crafted by monkeys, and being the least stupid monkey doesn't make somebody 'smart'.
@@ailius1520 Zeke freely manipulated the world's two strongest nations (Marley and Paradis Eldia) while sitting on a stump in a forest and chilling with a book.
As a teenager, he completely fooled Marley's entire military for more than a decade straight, and in the end, he was only found out because it didn't matter to him anymore.
He came up with the most potent and murder-free plan to save the world out of all the characters, as a teenager.
Zeke is a fucking god, a genius. His only constant mistake is underestimating Levi.
Eren not knowing he was a titan was fine, but it also kinda sucks that he wasted half the life he had. Like everyone knew their lives could be cut short by the titans, but in their minds they felt if they got rid of titans, they could live happily. Meaning Eren thought he had his whole life ahead of him. Then season 3 rolled around and gave him the bad news of, not only were they wrong about the looming threat, that everyone wanted them dead, but they also found out Eren had just years to live. They haven't even gotten an idea how to fix anything at that point, they didn't even know what Marley was capable of, and Eren had to face he would die whether he succeeded or not. he wouldn't be able to experience the freedom he was fighting for.thats why I think Eren got so depressed midway into season three. It wasn't just knowing that he had more enemies to face, it was also him knowing of the fact of even if they win, he won't get his freedom. He only had a few hours of freedom in the end, the paths made it so it felt like a long time, but he still was limited to only doing what the power let him.
Thanks...i needed this...i totally agree
7:19 Correction: Annie DID age in the crystal. She was able to hear Armin and Hitch when they spoke to her whilst crystallized, which means time passed for her. She was probably malnourished and didn't mature PHYSICALLY, but she was 20 years old by the time she woke up, the same as the rest of them.
Basically, she wasn't frozen in time, she was just frozen in place.
Bro that ending where all character died would have given depression to the whole community
Yeah. But I think it would've been a much better ending than what we've got.
@@Hanadix Not really, no.
Attack On Titan has developed to a much more complex series than it was during the time Isayama planned to kill everyone off.
After all the themes and morals that were raised throughout the series, just pointlessly killing everyone would feel like a joke.
The ending we got had poor execution, but great themes.
For a hot minute while reading the second-to-last chapter I was sure this is what’s gonna happen. That this will all just end in a big ol’ “and they died despite all the effort, tragic end”. I’m glad I was proven wrong
So true
The ending we got was a great concept. An innovative idea but it just lacked good execution. Mostly because we never got to know why the hell did Eren start his genocide...

It's not that hard to understand what and why Floch did what he'd done. Right after surviving Zeke's attack on Shiganshina, he carried Erwin's half-dead body over the wall only to see the band choosing Armin over Erwin.
Floch gerçekten çok çekmiş bir kişilik, yaptıkları çektiklerine göre haklı, ki herkesin bakış açısından herkes haklı; bu yüzden insanların Floch'u bu konuda ezmelerini anlamış değilim henüz

Then why he became yeagerist
He told Armin that he should have died instead of Erwin so I'm never gonna forgive him for that. How I wish Annie was there back then-
Floch is a self centred jerk who if given power, will abuse. Eren did not work with him because he trusts Floch, but he is just the twisted individual who’d bent when given even a little bit of self importance.

4:28 - hardcore MMA fan here!
The use of Okami's body for inspiration is both pretty damn cool and interesting, if albeit unsurprising due to his status as top Japanese fighter in a time where Americans, Europeans, and Brazilians dominated.
While he was both Japanese and very, very good, he was also seen as one of the best true Jujitsu users in MMA. With both a Judo & BJJ Blackbelt to his name, he entered a prestigious grappling tournament and only lost against future UFC WW/MW contender and grappling legend Demian Maia.
But the coolest little thing is that I strongly suspect a particular fight to be extremely influential: his UFC 82 fight vs the late Evan Tanner, who was both a former MW champ and a HW & *openweight* champ in earlier tournaments in Japan.
Okami was unlikely to win off brute strength and was unlikely to take Tanner down with a vanilla wrestling takedown.... but his clean technique, judoka skill, and clinchwork helped him set up a KO by way of a Knee later in the fight. It feels very reminiscient to how the main characters fight in hand-to-hand combat in both human and when transformed, with very limited emphasis on conventional boxing and takedowns.
Speaking of which- Reiner's titan having Brock Lesnar as his inspiration is fucking sick, but make sure to remember: Brock Lesnar was both a NCAA Heavyweight (real) wrestling champion and a UFC Champion, and had just made the jump from a Japanese Pro Wrestling promotion to fighting his first MMA fights, which transcended MMA's popularity to another level.
Lesnar *actually* made a real HW fighter get knocked on his ass and roll-over right side up, and charged at him exactly as Reiner did in the first episode. It was unreal, and almost certainly another huge moment of inspiration!

if sasha would have died in the beginning, gabi and falco wouldn’t have been on the ship, which would have not made niccolo mad, which would have not made him to hit falco with the wine, which would have prevented the wine in his mouth, without the wine he wouldn’t have turned into the titan

bro i knew i was getting them lesner vibes when watching them fight, that signature imposing "where ya gonna go" stance
3:40 Armin mentioned his parents deaths in season two
It was mentioned again on season 3 by the guy being interrogated by Hange
Armin also mentioned his parents in season 1 episode 2 or 3 i believe. Armin said "we have no choice living inside these walls, if you do anything rash you'll die the same way my parents did!"
The fear in the commanders eyes get me every time they did a really good job on his emotions leading his men to there deaths but with such honor and pride
2:45 I believe I remember him getting two titan kills in human form- Utgard castle (his first) and the colossal in Hero
Yeah.
I mean he defeated the colossal but Armin killed bertholdt so I think its technically right
Eren’s human kills be like after rumbling 10000000000
The thing with Hange is that one of the reasons people think she could be a man is because she was called "Sir" a couple of times, which proves absolutely nothing if we look at historic proof. Women and female Officers or Higher Ups have been called "Sir" or even "Guardsman" etc. It fits because AoT's setting is old and not modern enough to address issues like "gendered speech", if we want to call it that.
Edit: I don't know if he wanted it to be this elusive or if he just accidentally didn't think about it, but the fact that he states "it's up to the readers" is a sign for me that he didn't even think about it in the first place.
Also, the death of sasha thing is a myth that was already talked about. It wasn't changed because of the editor, but because he wasn't sure if it was the right thing at that time and changed it to not create a missing piece. I don't know how a recent video like this can have so many false informations that have been covered in older videos already haha. But still good job with the rest my friend.
Also if I'm not mistaken, she's not called "sir" in Japanese. They address her as "squad leader".
The reason for erins change in personality was his contact with Historia showing him the future iirc, quite interesting

The fact that when Riener called his horse by making a whistle sound and it didn't returned back no matter how much he did it while Jean's horse returned back to him .. I think it literally is the relationship between the animals and the people in their homeland .Reiner was an outsider ,probably the whistle sound he made wasn't percieved by his horse.
Actually, in the anime it does talk about armins parents, as well as two other instances with characters we know something happened to their parents, besides "they dissapeared". You remember the torturers of the wall priest that Hange befriended? Well, one of them, the one that spills the beans, talks about 3 other instances of the interior police, i figured he was taking about himself, that punished/tortured people who had some radical ideas. It also showed pictures of the people. One was Erwins father, the second was Armins parents trying to get away on the balloon with what looks like Armin himself running toward them, and i cant recall the third, but i know it was there. Anyways, happy secret hunting

These aren’t things we missed… they’re just facts that aren’t well known
Levi: imagine if i had a real sleeping schedule.
i actually felt bad for jean when marco died i mean marco is almost the only one who looked up to jean
2:50
Are you sure The Guy who joined the whole thing Years ago and is known as "Humanitys Strongest Soldier" doesn't take that place?
Think he meant 104th cadets
I acualy went to nördlingen, it was great there!
I wish to drink a cup of tea in Levi and Iroh's shop.
Eren's personality changed. Its almost like he saw the role he needs to play and became that person lol
He did lol
Eren is so commited to saving his friends to the point he is willing to do anything...literally anything
I’ve seen a bunch of videos making the two references of Levi and Erwin to Watchmen, and I’m over here like… “Hello… The Owl??”
05:11 How is june 16th exactly halfway through the year? June 16 is the 167th or 168th day of the year (leap years). July 2nd is day 183 and is the one that is exactly halfway.
Mike is the tallest character in aot
Yelena: "sorry what was that?"
And the worse part is that keith is taller than yelena, hes like 198
Oh wow, I didn't know about that
The Marco thing is because one of the editors got tired of drawing him, so they just left him like that
Moblit being the heaviest drinker in the Survey Corps makes so much sense with how much anxiety Hange puts him through...
The images shown side by side at 8:34 are from AOT, chapters 2 and 130 respectively. Image shown next, at 8:37 is from the actual pilot chapter "AOT Volume 0".
Wow I almost didn't know all fact Easter egg and secret and great video
I swear they said ARMIN parents attempted to go out the walls to see the world I always thought they said his parentss died
Its not specified in the anime. But in the manga and anthology its made more clear. Armin's parents invented and built a hot air balloon. They decided to use their new hot air balloon to fly above the titans to safely explore the world outside the walls. In case their hot air balloon failed and they were eaten by titans they wanted their son to live. They believed it was people's right to risk their lives to try to see the outside world, but they also believed their son was still too young to be allowed to decide to take that risk for himself. They told Armin about their plan and they said they'd come back after doing some exploring. But instead of a successful take off the Military police arrived in time to kill both Armin's parents and destroy the balloon before take off. The MP received orders to not allow this young couple to leave the walls. Like all their other murders the MPs covered it up and left no trace of Armin's parents. Armin grew up with his grandfather believing that his parent's balloon failed and they got stranded in titan territory then eaten. Armin didn't know his parents never even made to past the walls.
@@hamsterfromabove8905 wow. that's depressing
3:28 In episode 81 armin kills pyxis titan
The way Isayama structured this seems like
You don't pray your favourite character survives, you pray that someone else dies for them
5:15 NO… WHEN I HEARD THAT MY JAW DROPPED.
Cmon man😭
0:35 now i recall the convo btwn Erwin and Nile when Erwin was detained for not wanting to give up Eren and Historia. He asked Nile about his family and stuff, and I thought that was kind of random and out of nowhere, given the situation. So now I understand.
Me who hasn't seen the final season yet: How much can it spoil?
This person: Zeke Yeager, Eren's half brother-
Me: I hate my life
We all knew Reiner was the favorite he almost died atleast 3 or 4 times now😂
You know he is the armoured titan when you realize he gets the thickest plot armour
0:21 the way you memed Levi is so small that right after the height fact you said about Levi's sleep😂😂😂
Ahhhhh~! Muv-Luv! The highest rated VN (Visual Novel) of all! I didn't know if you'd touch on it but glad you did! I played Muv-Luv back in high school before AoT got popular and was super shocked and happy that it was the inspiration for an anime I loved as well!
