There's nothing contradictory of the Kennedy's stance on Cuba and their political liberalism. Liberals and socialists are political rivals. It makes sense for them to fight.
Liberal means leftist/socialist in America, btw. It probably shouldn't be, but there you go. Libertarians are the ones in America who have inherited "classical" liberalism, as we call it here.

Guevara vs the ennemies. He knew they weren't his friends. He's too smart for them.
He was a brutal Soviet agent who was executed while trying to start a violent communist revolution in Bolivia. He was also someone who enjoyed killing, according to his diary.
@@charlesbarnard4667 Actually, Che had some sort of falling out with Castro's government after he publicly criticized the Soviets and advocated aligning with China. He permanently disappeared from public life in Cuba shortly after. After that, he tried unsuccessfully to lead a revolution in the Congo where he lost half his 12 man team, and then in Bolivia where he failed miserably before he was caught and executed..

...which is why he stole property from native-born Cubans? Ooookay, peppy.
@Red Baron There have been military regimes in Latin America for hundreds of years. During the Cold War, both sides fought proxy wars and propped up dictators.
