  • In this video I made a high speed DC motor using the amateur or poles of a 775 DC motor and turned it into a homemade DC motor
Like I said in the video here are the detailed instructions on how to make the windings on a DC motor
First, choose the copper wire and size you'll like to use for the project then scratch off the enamel coating on the wire and then put it aside or you can place it to the first commutator and then wind the wire around two poles of out of the five closest to each other either from your left or right and then wind as many turns as you want,in the video I made 10 turns per pair of pole then when you are done with ten turns, then you check where the commutator meets the copper wire and scratch off that area, wind the copper around the commutator and then repeat the exact same pattern as you did in the first one, continue and when you get to the last pole, you so the same method as the first and after ten turns you cut the end of off the rest of the unused wire and the scratch off that area of the copper wire that ended the whole loop and then connect the end of the windings to the first one that is isolated
Second. Make a structure that will hold the amateur that has your windings above the floor and the you can choose where to place your magnet, you can choose either one or two magnets and place them to be facing north and south pole to each other, that is make sure the magnets are facing north and south to each other ensuring they both are facing their attractive sides to each other
Third. Pass a voltage across the commutator and watch the motor you've made speed off
    Hope this helps
comment 😎-guys what you think of the video and what you might want me to make in the future
