I have a 30SCT2 with 18 Jewels, recently serviced as it had stopped working, but runs fine after a service. What’s the history here?
Happy to supply photos of case, face, movement.

It depends on condition. Also depending on the source I would factor in a service and maybe getting an extract from the archives (from Omega) to see if it is all original. I recommend you go on Omegaforums.net and do some research / you will get different views. £700-£1500 is a range but they are getting more popular. A service will also check the watch and help make sure it stays in good order.

Omega Fan Man Hi. Just to update you. I managed to secure a HS8 today in reasonable condition. I think. I paid £770. Not sure if I did well or not but I am pretty happy. Thanks for details on the forum, I managed to do a lot of research. Mark

Glad it worked out. Depending on the history a service might be a good idea. Older watches need some TLC. I hope you have years of enjoyment from this and pass it on one day after you add to its heritage. Great timing with the D-Day celebrations. Important to save timepieces like this.

Omega Fan Man I can’t agree more and being ex military, it’s even more special. Again, thanks for all the help.

Ultimately who is the true Narrator in life - I guess that depends on your views around free will and predeterminism.
