A bunch of happy stoners rockin the blues. Doesn't get any better. I also love canned heat, more please....
This was 1969, and Woodstock. Things were different back then.
no....NOW things are different. Sad but true. Look at the reacter and his problems with a stoned fan who begs for a cigarette.
The Inventors of Psychedelic Blues. Rest in Peace to Big Fat/The Bear, Blind Owl, The Mole, The Sunflower, The Snake (I believe he has cancer right now), and the only surviving member in good health, Fito!!
More Canned Heat. Going up a country, Amphetamine amine etc.. Lots to love about the heat. Such a fun band. And they can really rock.
Thanks for doing Canned Heat at Woodstock Legendary ✌️🪴. Johnny Winter was Great! 420
You have to do Goin Up The Country!! Thank you for introducing people to the music of my youth! Great music never looses that OOMPH!!!!!!!
Trippin'!! Love this. Always did.
I think you're reading the situation wrong. I think it was an amazing moment of trust. Your attitude today is a reflection of the society of mistrust and suspicion we live in now. That's why Woodstock hasn't lost any importance.
I know you dig Bob "Bear" Hite's vocals on Let's Work Together, Biz. That song appeared on the album Future Blues. Two more great Bob Hite vocal performances from that album are on "Sugar Bee" and the title song "Future Blues."
The dude who enters the stage looks like a time traveler from 1999.
All hard wire, rain, sparks flying, they played thru.
Blind Owl , Bob the Bear , the Sunflower
AMAZING!
One of my favorite moments of Woodstock is the dude that comes on stage. You can read his lips, "This is the BEAR.....This is the BEAR!!!" We need to strive to return to a society that can trust one another like this. Peace.
I read the kid who jumped up on stage had been at a previous concert for canned heat and the lead singer Bob The Bear Hite left his jacket. That kid brought it and gave it back on stage ! According to the drummers book.
That's a really cool story. I think the kid's name is Pete the Greek. I'm gonna look him up!
Good react. You’re on point with todays vids. Nice.
Thanks fam
Love Canned Heat. Blind Owl forever.
Bob the Bear Hite the singer OD’d at the Palomino Club in North Hollywood. I used to go there now I work near there. He was 37 or 38 when he died.
This is their best Woodstock track! The power! The deep groove!
Kind of magic. But just this one! Yeah, why did they cut it? 😎
Biz, check out Boogie Chillen #2 from Hooker n' Heat: a collaboration between Canned Heat and legendary bluesman John Lee Hooker.
i’ve always knew this song as “leaving this town”
One of the all time great blues bands. Alan Wilson was so unbelievably talented and its such a shame that he passed away so young. So many of the great bluesmen of old including Skip James, Son House, John Lee Hooker, Sleepy John Estes, Mississippi John Hurt, and Robert Pete. Dude was the real deal
They were also jumping spark from strings mics,og hardwire. Bzzzzz😅😅
This band was fantastic live was fortunate enough to see them in 1971 they played the boogie for 1/2 hour that night
The “Change” that they were referring to is happening NOW.
Lol the last 30 sec lost it…
You also should dig the 1967 Monterey Pop film. Jefferson Airplane, Jimi, The Who, Janis, Ravi Shankar, Otis Redding, Byrds, Simon & Garfunkel...I think it's magical
Canned Heat is an epic blues band! I cannot find this song on any of their albums but it's heavy rockin' blues. I highly recommend you check out some Thin Lizzy, they're the greatest rock band Ireland ever produced in my opinion.
Dust My Broom
what grateful dead should have been.......................this band!
Hey dude Back in sixty nine you can walk up on the stage it was free Kayla I ain't like today
I thought I'd suggest another artist that you might enjoy giving a listen "Willie Nelson - Maria (Shut Up and Kiss Me) (Live)"
Dude just say " It's Bizmatik'............DOnt say it is ur name,.....IT isnt! it is ur handle(Nickname-stage name) U kool ----------BIzzy
😂😂😂 I don’t like saying it’s I used to but it sounds weird to me lol
@@watchbizmatik how bout,...............' yo yo yo its Bizmatik...love to the fam etc.......
My mistake
Check out a little family band called Motion Device doing covers of several heavy metal songs plus their own music.
