Massive improvement to the space. With the dominos, glue and brads they're going to last for ever. Love to see old used wood being valued.
Absolutely. Reclaimed wood has opened up so many opportunities for me. I feel more confident with joinery as it’s not expensive new timber. I really like that I was able to repurpose old cabinet into a new one. Luckily paint covers up all the imperfections. Thanks for watching.
Really looking organised now mate. You know it’s funny in most of the woodworking videos on joinery it’s just about tenons & mortises of sorts or lapping joints but most people in the world use glue & screw 😮🧐 & nails lol.
Keep up the great work
I agree Sumo. Glue and screws are more than adequate. Thanks for watching mate. I appreciate the support.
Cabinets look awesome mate. Great build. 👍
Thank you mate. I really appreciate you taking the time to comment. I am happy with how it came out but painting and wall mounting were such a pain and as such didn’t make it in the video haha
Great video mate, that Domino machine certainly got a good workout. So much easier than the Kreg but maybe one day…. Nice storage of timber too…well done. 🎉
Thanks mate. I appreciate you watching. And yes very handy machine. Cheers mate
Nicely done mate. The cabinets look great.
Thanks Brian. I appreciate the support. They are fully loaded and got a lot of supplies off the flat surfaces!
Great video mate. Got some good ideas there 👍🏻
Hey thanks for watching. Yeah I am happy with how the space is developing. Looking forward to spending even more time in the garage now that I am trying to treat this more like a business rather than a hobby. Cheers mate
I do the same thing extending panels with pocket holes all the time! Domino is better of course as you don't have to worry about the metal you're adding with screws. Handy tool that domino. I love me some good workshop organisation.
Yes I thought about making them workshop blue in honour of your channel but it got made grey as that was what I had laying around. Cheers mate.
@@riversidewoodworks hahahah HEY that's a proprietary colour :P It's like Cadbury Purple ;)
Am I not the only one that has a pica pen for regular wood and a white for walnut? Thank God
Yeah they are so handy. Love having lots of options for marking out. We don’t get too much walnut here in Australia but for Spotted Gum it’s invaluable. Thanks for watching mate!
My friend, you need yourself a Jonathan Katz-Moses apron if your able to get there. Just a tip from across the pond.
Yes. I have been eyeing one off for some time. Good tip. I even want to get the kids version for the 5 year old haha cheers for watching mate
Don't be mean to Mr Taylor 😡
With the Titebond and Rockler gear, are you buying it online or somewhere here in town?
Really good use of the space, looking forward to seeing more content!
Hi Jeff, thanks for watching. Titebond is from Total Tools. Bandy clamps and bench cookies are both from Carbatec. I really appreciate your kind words. Thank you.
