This was a GREAT video, BP and you had so many wonderful, easy ideas for crafters block. I particularly liked the reminder to refill, reink and reorganize your art supplies. The other tip was cutting and scoring you papers for card makers. They were all great and appreciate you taking the time to make this video. Stamp, stamp stamp .......... something easy and mindless to do when you want to catch up on a show you are binge watching. Hugs, gf and thanks for the shoutout. 🎉❤🌻🌻🌻🌻

I like that you brought up these thoughts and what you can do if you in a funk. Sometimes I want to craft but due to how I’m feeling due to my impairment I can’t. So seeing your videos give me great ideas and things to think about. Thanks again for sharing and enjoy your day 😊

I’m so so glad I’m not the only one who has craftalanches all over my space. Sometimes I just can’t finish something bc I run out of inspiration. Then I have a wonderful idea about something else and can almost finish it before… and you get the idea! 6:41

I have a question. I just followed you when I noticed your name was bitty penny. My mom passed away 3yrs ago at59 suddenly of cancer we found out she had in her lung liver and bones and 11days later she was gone (she chose to do in home hospice when they told us that day that it was too advanced to treat) and her name was Penny. My step father didn’t have the money to have a funeral or a memorial. We were to do it that spring but then he broke his hip and went into rehab for it for a month. Then money was too tight. They were both on disability and had just moved a month before she died and that was all they had saved up they spent on that. And it was a hour away from me. And bc of my own health issues and divorce I had no income. Well yesterday my brother called me and said he woke up (he lived with my step father caring for him) and went into check on my step dad and he has passed in the night. He too was only 63 as well. I want to do a tribute to each of them in a journal and though I have one in mind for my mom I don’t for him. He was very much the 70s-80s long haired loving life hippie/rock n roll type. Loved lynardskynard, and shinedown (“simple man” was the song he wanted as his memorial song. And “free bird”. ) idk if you know of the genre/bands/type of guy I’m trying to explain here but if you do, could you maybe make a video on that? On a tribute page with ideas for that? I’m sure a lot of us have a guy like that in our lives that has passed and that we would all love to see. I would very very much appreciate it if you could. I have a Cricut and I’m very rich in art and crafting supplies lol. I don’t have a embossing machine but I have tons of washi (maybe not rock and roll ish persay lol) and scrapbook and card stock paper, stickers, hand lettering pens and pretty pens in general, paint (acrylic, watercolor and gauche), glues, stencils, books, and a lot of paper to use for junk journal paper. I would be so happy if you could do a video (even if a short one with ideas) on this type of spread! I’ve tried searching for one and nothing comes up so it would be something on here that nobody so far that I have seen has done and I’m sure alot of people would love it! I would share it and tag you in my own as wellwell when I do one. In all my social media! ❤❤

Hey BabetheBuilder, Such a fun name. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of both parents. I lost my father to lung cancer as well. It was fast and difficult. The Penny in my name Bitty Penny is my maiden name and a tribute to my father. I came up with it the last year of his life. He never knew it because he was sick during the time. I think the Holy Spirit connected you and I. I have already designed a classic rock inspired kit. I just started an LLC this week and am going to be releasing digital kits soon. I will send it to you free of charge and I will make a video. I just need your email. You can find my contact information in my about section. If you don’t have a printer then don’t sweat it. I will send you a hard copy, again, free of charge. Thank you for sharing your story. I am sure it was difficult to even rehash. May peace be with you in your morning and the memories resound with love. Hugs from Texas. 🙌💕📄✂️

Bitty Penny thanks for the great tips. Love your ephemera folder. Will have to find it on your channel to replicate as it looks so much easier than other examples I’ve seen. I’m working on a 50th anniversary journal for my husband. A-z of things that have happened over our 50 years together! Heading to Alaska on a cruise next week to celebrate!!!

Great ideas, Bitty Penny! Also good reminders for the ones I already do but haven't done for a while.😊
I think if you already have an idea journal/list going through that when you're can't think of anything would be a great way to jump start those creative juices.
    TFS❤

I agree with the PVA glue. It doesn't leave bubbles in your paper. In it's description it's for book making I figured that would be better than great for card making and that is what I do most. I haven't found anything I like better. Lot's of good tips for busting the crafting blues.

Thank you! Because of this video, I started organizing my scraps because I like having them easily accessible, but I am really sick of seeing the mess.
I trimmed some pieces l had to card panel size and I have decided that the cards I am making for my version of gely postcards (cards instead of postcards) are definitely going to feature scraps, painted papers... basically papers in the unsightly bin that are now bugging me

The other day I pulled out almost used up scrapbook kits and Kiwi Lane card border templates. For each kit I pulled out a template set that seemed like it would work with it. I cut 5 1\2 strips of paper and A2 card bases from the full sheets of paper and large scraps. I traced borders from the strips. I traced sailboats and rocket ships from the red white and blue kit. I traced other ephemera from scraps from the other kits. The next day I cut out the items from one kit and ink the edges. The next day, I cut out the red white and blue items and inked them. My granddaughter had fun making cards with them. The last day, I cut out the rest of my traced items and inked them up. Then I made more cards. Altogether, my non creative day turned into 23 cards over four days. Last night, I started the process again with four more partial kits by cutting card bases and border strips. By the end of July 4th, I'll be well on the way to more cards.

Very nice. I do all of the things you covered and it really works. I would add "Purging" to the list. It feels great to make some space, review and refresh your memory of your stash, and know that the things you are finished with may be the very things that others are energized and inspired by.
