ZR1s are sweet cars. I too plan on buying one in the future. I wish Dodge and SRT would come out with a new Viper, preferably a V10, but unfortunately the days of large displacement are probably coming to an end.
You guys need to also realize with the aero on the Zr1 its increased down force most likely makes it "heavier" than the hellcat at the speeds they were doing. Cool race.
That's a good one "aero makes it heavier". Downforce merely keeps the car on the pavement, has no effect on the rolling mass. The other part of aerodynamics is drag coefficient. Less drag equals less horsepower to push the vehicle through the air. Challenger has the aerodynamics of a washing machine.

Drag is the force that directly opposes movement. With big wings like that, there will be high drag. Minus all the aero parts, Vette is definitely very aerodynamically efficient.
