I loved his character and was sad they didn’t renew his contract. After season 6 when chase drowns, the writers took FC into unbelievable territory and marked the beginning of the end.
@@SaxonC I agree with you. Simon MacCorkindale did much better on Falcon Crest than in Manimal. And you are right about Robert Foxworth's departure being the end of the show.
Wyman was hysterical with great comedic timing......I'm re-watching on Freevee n season 4 finale, Angie comes to court to make a statement on Mellisa's behalf....When she is done, she goes over to sit with Cole, as she is about to sit, Mellisa's poor relation cousins, says hello to her she turns with a half smile to acknowlege her, quickly realizes she is a commoner, quickly drops the half smile, immediatly turns her head to face the Judge n never even acknowleges the girl......The entire interaction unfolds in seconds, but the timing along with Angie's spot on facial expression is hysterical!!!
Celeste Holm and Jane Wyman 2 GREATS from waayy back !
I loved Celeste Holm😚 "For a start you can get me a more comfortable chair. This chair is a disaster. " How hilarious!
Love that show
lol Angels looks so pissed off!
Omg Simon MacCorkindale in Falcon Crest
I bumped into him at Waterloo Station

@@SaxonC Season 7 wasn’t too bad. I enjoyed that whole Thirteen story and Richard & Angela’s fighting. xD

3 seasons after the death of Chase Gioberti and it was officially all over for the series.
Jane Wyman seems to have really enjoyed working with MacCorkingdale. She wasn't often given comic actors to work with.
It was nice to see her really open up after the first two seasons when she was at her absolute bitchiest. xD
Margaret Ladd!

I recently read that McCorkindale said that Wyman ran him off after one season.
@@hardren101. I love that scene with Robin. What happened with Anna setting the house on fire??
I think I can over see things better from there!!
They killed Cassandra offscreen.
Childbirth, if I recall, yes??
A storyline that was abruptly dropped.
aw Hell no!
