- MEANING: The words "Le Petite Mort" is the French word for "Orgasm" which translates to "The Little Death." So when he says "When you die, can you scream..." He's talking about making love to his partner. Jonathan Davis said in an interview that he is talking about how there is a difference between going out and screwing random people and actually making love with the one you truly care about - it gives you the feeling of being on a high, hence, "Last Legal Drug."
I personally think that it's probably the most beautiful, dark, and sensual songs Korn (or anyone) has ever written. :)

Totally messes with the meaning. The big death=truly not alive. Daisy pushing. A dead girl. The little death= a French phrase for another state of being that is only experienced during illegal drug use or huge orgasms. So this little death is "The last legal drug."

@nykkiL101 They mean, that the pre-chorus lyrics are from the bridge of 10 or a 2 way. from the same album. I wouldn't say it's so much a demo, it's a fine line though, same way, Sing Sorrow and Once Upon a Time are identical riffs etc but not lyrics, minus bridge, 10or2Way and LePetitMort have different riffs etc, but share similar lyrics. Korn have a habit of doing that dating back to Munky taking a riff from the L.A.P.D. album and putting in Predictable on Self-Titled.
