Just a heads up. Those pens will fade or completely disappear if they get too warm. So don’t leave your notebook in the car or in the sun. I’d hate for you to lose all that work ❤️
Found this out the hard way when I used one at work. Wrote some notes on important order forms that I was sending out into the hot warehouse. Papers were left over a holiday weekend (so 5 whole days) in 120 degree heat. Monday morning all the orders went out wrong because the ink was too faded for anyone to read. Also the lighter colors seem to be worse at this, I was using a purple one, and the ink was already quite light.
those friction pens actually erase with heat not friction, the frictions just creates the heat, so you have to be a little careful were you leave your drawing (not in a warm place) or they could disapear one of our teachers actually told us this because they were baned from our exams for this reason
Bunny K you can put it somewhere very cold to bring back the inks pigment, like the freezer or fridge, I’m not sure if it would work once laminated but it’s worth a try

I love story cubes! I use them in kindergarden, usually start the story in the morning and save the end for before lunchbreak and therefore have enough time to think of an elegant close of the story!
Oh I used to have dice like that! We would divide the dice between me and my siblings, and when you rolled, you’d have to tell a story about them, and the next person would keep telling it until all the dice were used. The dice were for some game, I don’t remember the original use for them but the game we made was so fun!
You may not see this, but just a warning!! Don't put anything super warm/hot on the notebook because the heat will erase the ink (which is also how the friction erases it) also, if you write something on a piece of paper and erase it, you can put it in the freezer and it will come back!!

I was thinking that the snail is a writer, and the trail they're leaving is ink from the bottle and they're racing against their rival to be the first to write a better novel, but the snail is so much slower because maybe the rival is a spider or something.
I love the notebooks you got, I have done a few stories in similar notebooks. The Frixion pens are a bit complicated to write with though for long term, because the actual words you write will wear away just by the friction of the pages being flipped.
First illustration, first poem, my first thought was of Shel Silverstein. You could 100% be the second coming of my favorite childhood author. Sometime around 3rd or 4th grade he became my favorite.. and I never changed my mind - but you have the potential!! 💜
I had a reall cool idea about when you used the non erasable pen by accident! You could make "secret" art where the permanent pen is hiding in a bigger object/illustration, and erasing the other pen from around it to reveal the inner art 😁
Oh man, I wish I was still teaching. Those dice would be so cool to use with the 4 or 5 year olds to get them to write or draw their story, more than saying "Go write and draw". Especially dinosaurs. I'm glad you wrote a limerick or shorter poems, because they are fun and catchy and kids can understand them. Throw in some poop and boom, you are popular. You are already a wonderful children's storybook author =)
