I adore these ideas!! it's just a shame darkstalkers lore gets super convoluted, so it's hard to come up with stuff like this whilst also remaining on track with a singular narrative, I actually enjoyed the more segmented story here, you worked best with what you had and I love it!
Aww, thank you 😊! I'm so glad you enjoyed, yeah I agree it's crazy how much lore there is in 5 main games but I guess I did alright 👍, also I did a more separated story because I wanted to make sure not every story needed to connect to matter (like a certain cinematic universe)
I remember watching those animes as a kid and being heart broken that 3 out of my 4 favorite characters were destroyed by Pyron in under a minute.
Yeah it really wasn't fair 😕, but I understand that the series could only be 4 episodes

(Shadow & Marionette are henchmen to Jedah)
(Felicia & Lilith become friends)
(All the other fighters in the background have become monochrome & can't be interacted with because Shadow got to them as Lilith investigates)
(Hsien-ko & Lei-Lei acts as spiritual guides to Lilith in Purgatory)
So yeah, I'm doing this because I love Darkstalkers so much, that I cannot make another Halloween go by without something new & special for it!!!~ ☺️ I love your other ideas in the video, too!!~ 😎

Honestly, there are only a few Characters in this series that could have their own Movies.
One character that I feel should be apart of this Cinematic Universe.
Is Harry Grimoirie! Yes, the little kid from the Terrible Darkstalkers TV series by DIC entertainment!
But one thing we should do, is change him into an Adult Villain! We hype him up as a New Villain, a Warlock/Evil Wizard trying to Tap into some Outer God powers by sacrificing Say Jedah, Pyron, or even the Makai Realm itself!
It would be cool to see him be a Manipulative Behind the Scenes villain that doesn’t care if people or Darkstalkers are good or bad. He just needs them in order to meet his goal.

Hey. Here’s another idea as well. What if Harry Tricks Morrigan into thinking she’s seduced him. Only for him to Try and steal her Magic/Life-Force!
In order for her to survive! She Splits Herself apart in order to escape, bringing Lilith back! But the longer they stay apart, the more dire their situation becomes as Harry’s attempt on her life is killing both Morrigan and Lilith!
That sounds awesome 😀 It would definitely make better use of a wasted character in Harry, and Lilith has always been a cool character 😎, I would definitely write these ideas down, they're really interesting 🤔

Also, I like this idea. Capcom never did enough with this. And I TRIED to like the DS cartoon series for what it was.... I tried. I DID like the premise though. It was too "Westerny Saturday morning cartoonish", if that makes sense. The whole execution hit the uncanny valley of story telling.

Good video. I like your ideas. The only thing I would change is that I would prefer having Cecil not be the one to reprogram Huitzil to do good (though I like the idea of him wanting to reprogram the other Huitzils, that can stay) and instead have Huitzil initially protect Cecil due to an error in his system that eventually causes him to develop a genuine emotional bond with the kid like he did in the games. I think having Huitzil actually choose to become a hero himself would make the whole thing a lot more meaningful and, as a bonus, keep the cute Iron Giant/Terminator 2 vibes the two had originally.

I LIKED THE POKE AT FELICIA BECOMING A NUN TO PRETEND TO BE TOUGH IN FRONT OF LORD RAPTOR AND SAY SHE DOESN'T LIKE IT. I LOVED THE OVA I JUST THINK IT FOCUSED ON SOME OF THE MORE BORING CHARACTERS A BIT TOO MUCH OTHERWISE IT WAS FANTASTIC ESPECIALLY THE ART STYLE AND ANIMATION.
It could've definitely been to make her seem tougher to others, and I also loved the ova, and also WHY ARE WE YELLING?
I think I have to disagree with you on the Felicia line. This anime takes place during the second game, Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge, hence having the same title name. This was a bit before Darkstalkers 3, so this could have been before Felicia found a religion she actually liked and wanted to be a part of. Maybe in a sequel however that can be addressed and fixed up a bit, if ever one were to be made. Maybe have her re-meet Raptor, maybe he asks about her being a nun, and she tells him she found one she actually was happy to be a part of because she felt like she could help people that way.
You know I never actually thought of it like that 😅, but I think I like your explanation better than just this being a retcon

@@fightingmedialounge519 Yeah well, kind of hard to rewrite things when they already messed up a specific line of dialogue in the anime. I figured this would probably be the best way to fix that mistake in a future version of the anime, if ever were to follow up what happens in the original. Honestly though, since Darkstalkers is so old at this point, maybe a reboot would work better to get newer fans in, and respect what came before for longer time fans.

Maybe we see a scene where she joins a corrupt church that was only there to make profit and money off others, and that pissed her off for a long while, because she believes religion should be for helping people better themselves, not for one man to make themselves richer off the beliefs of others.
My dream is to see Capcom at LEAST, make a 3rd person action/adventure title in the vein of Devil May Cry or Legacy of Kain: Defiance. A Donovan's journey to in attaining that weird sword and gaining all those elemental deity summons and such. Having running round the Mukai (the same realm setting of the Ghouls N' Ghosts series), even having reoccurring battles with "Firebrand" always flying off before he can deal the final blow.
Don't forget that Makai is also the realm that Morrigan and Dmitri live
How about talking the another fighting games like KOF (The King of Fighters) ?

make it hack and slash so dante and donovan can fight each other
or how about a live action DS movie with dwayne johnson as donovan
1) I would love to see a DMC and Darkstalkers crossover, but at least for now we have MvC3 and I guess infinite 2) Not sure how I'd feel about live action darkstalkers, but if they give animation another try then I'd love the Rock as Donovan
