As my orchestra teacher always says,
practice is to learn your own part, rehearsal is to learn everybody else’s parts.
I never had to count 213 measures of rests, solely because I knew when the oboe changed key. 😁
Hmmm.
Mark Hamill has force perception
Luke: "You ask the impossible."
Yoda: "Give me the beat boys and free my soul"
Hamill is the man
then again, Lucas has a great record of a perfect cast
Bro, you could've stopped at "Mark Hamill does not get enough credit". What a legend!
This is why EMPIRE continues to be awesome.
Mark Hamill has to be one of the best actors with the best attitude to boot.
Just rewatched the OG trilogy. Mark was the best actor.
This why the originals are special. God I wish this much work still got put into our movies
Schizophrenic Luke Skywalker with a mute Yoda, that'd be the biggest plot twist.
😂
We have to do this all the time in musical theatre whenever there is a scene with underscoring and a track instead of live band.
Mark was such a great actor that he memorized the script!
At least while waiting between takes he could vibe to some tunes
He does not get enough credit for all the credit he gave us
Who lives, who dies, who tells your story
damn he would have to said yodas lines as well in his mind
How the hell can we not make movies better than back then...

Best joker and only one whos been on muppet show
Luke: “You know him?!”
Yoda: FReEEEEeEEeEEEeEEEeee BIRD
That's called acting, and Mark Hamill is really good at it.
MH: you know him?
Yoda: FUUUUNNNYYYYYY JOKE
Yoda was giving away tickets to Duran Duran
It was all those damn seagulls poking him in the coconut! Hard to hear over that!
Imagine going on the radio in the 80s and hearing yoda’s lines
What a great actor
Just when i thought mark hamil couldn't get any better
Now that's a goddamned actor
jesus fucking christ, the more behind the scenes shit i learn about mark hamill i love him more and more!

He performed his lines just by going with the flow of the Force hah. Obiwan taught him well
Until this moment, I hadn’t quite realized how ‘real’ Yoda was/is to me! LOL!
Bummer!
Jess.🌹
Actually sounds like Frank Oz did the real work uncredited there... Except we all DO credit him and Mark and think he was wonderful
Imagine if Yoda's lines where just songs and radio hosts.
"Seagulls! Stop it now!"
the water in the swamp really did stink🧟♂️
Iconic scenes!
But he could also watch the gestures and the lips movements of yoda, to help him approximate what was being said.
But he could SEE Yoda talk. Yoda's a real person
Yoda: Do or do not. There is no try.
What Luke hears: Woahhhh we're halfway there
