@@mama-wench Started out exclusively crocheting. I’ve still got some of my Crochet magazines from when I was a kid. 1983 Crochet Fantasy issues. I’ve got the 1st, 2nd and others. The second issue was always my favorite. I made a handful of things from it.
@@anotheryarn At that time of my life I was making those danged pillow dolls. I gave away the patterns I still had from them. Prior to that a lot of my crocheting was baby sets... frilly sweaters, bonnets, booties and blankets... After the pillow dolls it was afghans... So loving that I've expanded what I am comfortable making now and attempting to make.
I was thinking about that one too. I went down the bee hunt path for a while. Ultimately I decided to crochet something since I was joining in on a crochet class

Knit it, you’ll get more mileage out of the Yarn than you would by crocheting it. Zauberball balls need to be knitted. 😊

It is rectangular shawl but I have made Sarayu from Expression Fiber Arts a few times. It is a nice crochet pattern.
