Malagor is such an amazing character lore wise. The literal boogeyman of the old world, with a hefty brothers Grimm feel. In the darker places of the empire, he’s considered the eternal enemy of Sigmar, and many a tale will be warning of this walking malady. Plus he’s literally the only beastman that can see the bigger picture for chaos, even Kazarak focuses only on his own goals and cares for his own spoils, as great a commander he definitely is. SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES!

@@daddypudding9074 A house fire doesn’t intentionally burn a family alive, and a tumor doesn’t chose to kill it hosts, but you still need to get rid of them, a destructive non-sentient force doesn’t deserve our sympathy simply because it didn’t chose to be a destructive force.

Holy shit it actually annoyed me that Beastmen lost here, like bruh..... how annoyed you would be to LOSE that lol - man CA give us a Beastmen DLC please.
They did screw up a few important things. The DE player systematically removed every single threat to the Morathi-Shrine combo at the cost of only cheap units, and without any summons they didn't have much they could do about them. The ending was a mosh-pit cluster but a mosh-pit cluster that did favour the DE style.
At 11:57 if Malagor had held the traitor-kin to hit both the medusa and morathi the beastmen would have won. A previous cast got cancelled that would have hit both I when the medusa shot malagor so this game was razor thin. Frankly less cygor summons and more traitor-kins might have been the way to go in terms of damage dealt to important targets.

I'll be real here, it was a great fight, but I totally expected DE to win, even though the DE player made a good amount mistakes (granted, beastmen didn't do great either, but they immediately stomped range, stomped a lot of the cav, knocked Morathi down to 80 FUCKING HP where she had no right to be on the battle and then somehow stabilized, and the cygor routed when it had every advantage in a fight, really annoying, that one, anyways, thanks for reading my rant, and maybe one of you can explain how on earth Morathi stabilized, like, did she just call in a favour from slaanesh or something?)

Eh it was closer to a game where the aim was to make the least mistakes. The DE player would've been a lot stronger by bringing more chaff instead of those dark rides, they didn't have enough micro to really get value out of those compared to chaff in a mosh pit style would bring.

DE fucked up a lot early on, but they rallied hard with Morathi and the Shrine.
