Yes. This! ☝️ Anything can happen at any time,in the middle of the day, surrounded by people. A really important thing to remember and to not let fear rule the way we live
a few years ago i traveled throught italy and croatia by bicycle. there was this strange morning: i got up and immediately started packing my stuff. first i thaught i will take it easy at the beautiful beach close to venice. but something in me told me to leave very soon. just as i finished up packing, i sat down at my fireplace and 2 middleaged men walked by about 50m away. they where acting very strange. talked to each other in the middle of nowhere, turned around several times, one peed somewhere. the other one startet smoking while stand around randomly. they where around for 2 minutes or so. i was the only one around. the moment i realised they are not leaving, i got on my bike and drove away the other way. i was so glad i listen to my gut feeling this morning. i was so shure they where planning to loot me…
I am a 62 yr.old woman and I enjoyed this video so much, I was laughing through much of it. You have this boyish enthusiasm that just brings me back to my youth and 20's. I can so remember young men from my younger days that had this very same boyish enthusiasm. So thank you. My Irish great-granny used to say "Go and be good and if you can't be good...be Careful!"
Bingo! Exactly, people can be super nice to your face then shoot you in the face for less then 10 bucks. A bear 🐻 if it charges you, well then you know… it’s predictable. People not so much. Or a momma bear and her cubs? Well it’s on… But people You just never know. Even God says in the Bible when he talks about GHOST 👻 He says, ‘ DO NOT FEAR the DEAD 💀 FEAR the LIVING! Not that I’m all about the Bible but it is written
One of the first things we learnt in the 4x4 course I did in the military was....walk your route first, before you commit to putting your vehicle through it...

Thank you for telling us we don’t travel much anymore and this story tells me we made the right decision. We are now 77 &78 no energy for the drama. No swearing but a great story so proud of you. Safe travels
I appreciate the fact that you are so open and vulnerable in ALL your travels! There is NO EGO in your journey! I am thankful that you have gotten insight and hopefully learn a lot about being safe in your space! I as a female doing the RV life had to humble myself about my surroundings! Stay safe!
May I ask how the RV life is going for you? I just bought a 1991 ford econoline hightop and want to travel for a few months but in order to do that I have to save up and quit my job. And I’m kinda scared to do that. But I wouldn’t get the time off any other way. I really don’t wanna loose my job cause it’s nice but I also don’t wanna be there forever either, so I guess I just have to get the courage at some point and do it.
Once I drove 2300 miles across the country. I stopped at a rest stop next to a big interstate highway. Had a stranger pull a gun and shoot a round past my head................Protect yourself. A trucker called the cops and he was arrested. Crazy dude.
Dang were you in your vehicle? I've always been scared of rest stops they seem creepy and dangerous unless security is there but most don't have security. Truck stops are probably safer
Having the capacity to defend yourself (and potentially others) is part of being a responsible person. Quite literally, the ability to respond to a dangerous situation.
I hope you don't mind me responding to your post? I worked in the security service for around 30 years and I can say with a wealth of experience and perfect clarity that weapons are only ever bad. I've been stabbed 3 times and on each occasion the person with the blade came a very poor second and on each occasion I was the one standing in court facing the prospect of a custodial sentence whilst the perpetrator got off scot free, why? Because as a professional I should have shown restraint? Really, I would challenge anyone to "show restraint" after they've just been stabbed. If you decide to use a weapon yourself you have be prepared for the consequences because there will be, either from the law or some sort of payback from the other person or their family. It's also worth remembering that if a weapon is used there's a real possibility of killing someone albeit unintentionally. The best defence you can ever have is to make sure that you never put yourself in a situation where you need to defend yourself.
@@sambrooks7862Got it. So when a black bear broke into my popup camper back in 2002 looking for food in late fall near Rapid River, Mi….i shouldn’t have defended myself. But in your instance of “never put yourself in that situation” I guess I shouldn’t even ever have gone camping or even leave my house? Great advice security man!
@@sambrooks7862 The main thing I learned from your experience is to not become a professional in the security services if I wish to defend myself with a weapon. Much like in the same way, if a person is trained extensively in lethal forms of martial arts, they don't want to go around advertising that because if you are ever involved in an altercation, you will be looked to as the one who should have shown excessive restraint
I'm a part-time van dweller who built out a Promaster in 2018. I had been camping in it for several years at all sorts of places (BLM land, National Forests, deserts) with no problem. Then, a series of events happened. I was camping with my son in a perfectly good grassy spot. I was just off a dirt road. There was a slight depression off the road, so I backed in (the Promaster has front-wheel drive) and parked close to the road instead of further back. I didn't give it a second thought. For some strange reason, I had looked up the tow points (the front one is hidden on the Promaster) before the trip. I had never bothered to do so on previous trips. I felt reasonably secure as I had rescue stuff in my "garage," including rescue boards, a tow strap, a shovel, etc. At camp, I tried to open my back doors to get some firewood, and I heard a pop. Apparently, the cable to the doors either broke or slipped off. I couldn't get at anything (including my rescue stuff) from the back. I thought, "I'll take care of it when I get home," and put it behind me. I wanted my son to have a good time. As we slept, I heard a massive thunderstorm and woke to everything soaked with water. I was glad I had backed in and was close to the road, but when I tried to pull out, it was clear that I was stuck and couldn't use any of my rescue stuff due to the back door issue. I panicked but didn't want to frighten my son, so I looked cool on the surface. I knew I needed a tow truck, but cell service was very poor, and there was no way I could open web pages to search for one. I remembered seeing a house down the road, so I walked to it. Thank God the owner was home. I told him my problem and asked if he knew of a towing service. He said he had a pickup and a strap, and we drove back to my camp. This guardian angel pulled me out (it was harder than you would think) with a strap that was not rated for a vehicle as big as my van, but it worked. He wouldn't accept any money and went on his way. There are nice people everywhere if you give them a chance. By the way, I couldn't fix the back door when I got home and had to take it to my local Dodge dealership. They replaced the cable and. it cost me over $800! That was a less-than-nice experience.
Bro, commend you for being badass adventurer and free spirit. I would urge you to adopt all of the legal means of self defense that are approved in all states. You will likely never have to resort to these measures, but if you are isolated and they are not available, you then find yourself in a bad situation. Love the channel and hope you stay safe and have a blast out there!
Great video!! And channel. Take good care of yourself. I got stuck in mud in the middle of the night years ago during some solo travels, I tried turning and accelerating but car wouldn’t move. I had given up and decided to wait until maybe some help would arrive, and until morning so I could see better, I shut the engine off to sleep, but a few minutes later I decided to try again, and somehow I felt something push my car away and off I went. I kept going but looked in the rearview mirror and saw only the darkness of the night. To this day when I remember I feel blessed and grateful to the mystery of life taking care of us.
Dude has my dream set up if I ever get blessed enough to have a van it will be literally identical not to much not too little just enough All I need is my pc my dogs and food 😂
Oh, I feel this story. Husband and I stopped there in 2021 with our Skoolie. Parked way up at the top because we were not taking chances with the beast. But we took our mini cooper down like complete idiots. To be fair, many an idiot had gone down before us which fooled us into thinking it was safe. It was not at all. Got it stuck in almost the same scenario you described, got help from a super friendly Chad, flew across the sand and got stuck again right at the end. He helped us out again like the hero he was and it was all good. Crazy spot. We have a Jeep now. That poor mini put up with a lot it should never have been asked to do, it was a champ but it’s not made for bus life.
I’m old. Used to travel & camp around the world. It’s good to do when your young. We didn’t have cell phones, gps, none of it. Everyone was doing this, many hitchhiked. It was awesome, enlightening, educational. Great van, we did tents & a station wagon. Like your travels. Stay safe.
You told that story like a storyteller. 👏 Entertaining and a few lessons to be learned. I used to travel in my car when I was young, sleeping in the back seat, right in the woods, or on the beach, or even just off the side of the highway. Never had any frightening or dangerous situations happen. However, although I live in a pretty quiet, small village with an almost non-existant crime rate, my home has been broken into, a portion of my yard taken over by a nasty neighbor who proceded to set my trees on fire (the criminal trial is in 9 weeks,) and a vehicle vandalized in my own driveway in the last 15 years! I suppose what I'm getting at is don't let your guard down, wherever you are- Keep your head on a swivel and always try to anticipate what *could* happen. Always have a quick and easy escape route. And always have *"protection,"* because you just never know.
Wow, you are so right and in today's society where mental health issues on so many people are going berserk - one has to watch out for them whether they are on drugs or medication. Please stay safe and "watch your back."
We also got stuck on that beach! It was so incredibly stressful. A truck ended up saving us as well. After that I found Matt’s Off-road Rescue UA-cam channel and have watched it every since to learned so much. Glad you’re okay!
Your story has made me realise that not everything goes to plan and we need to be more cautious wherever we go but still have fun. Thank you . I love enjoying your time and videos.😮😊
Thank you for sharing that story. It’s best to always be aware of your surroundings because when you have your guard down completely is when something could happen and it wouldn’t hurt to have something for protection too. Unfortunately there are some evil people out there and they can look just as normal as can be.
When you drive on sand ,Lower the tire pressure (let some air out) Carry a cylinder of CO2 to re-inflate the Tires! I do that all the time! I also reduces the rattling of washboard roads.
I've dealt with people trying to get into my place drunk, wrestle me to get into my front door, accusing me of following them, even kicking at me, etc. Mental health issues/and or drugs are epidemic now - by design, unfortunately - and people in seriously altered mental states can change their attitudes at the drop of a hat. Ergo you have to err on the side of caution, be polite and firm with them (not instigating but also letting them know you're not going to accommodate them), while disengaging.
That's a pretty common thing when you lake camp (in Nevada). People get drunk or high and walk around and make themselves at home in your campsite. Have you made your way to Pyramid Lake? It's a beautiful dessert lake with a lot of history.
The whole situation (from getting stuck to having the guy come up to your van) would have been VERY stressful. Glad you're o.k. Thanks for putting this video out there to remind everyone to take precautions and be mindful of their surroundings no matter where they are or how many people are around. Glad everything worked out positively including the guy getting back to his friends/family safely.
I love the interior design of your van. The dark wood really gives your space identity. Being an 18 wheel long hauler with my wife and dog gives me the urge to travel and visit the places we wave at as we pass by in the rig. Keep them coming.
Glad you're safe and embracing new and challenging experiences. A Growth mindset never ceases to let you down! Keep on keepin on and thank you for sharing!!!
Wow, what a nightmare! Man, I could almost feel your anxiety when you were describing it! Thank goodness all is well and that you were able to turn into a learning experience. It’s a gentle reminder for us all. 😊
Thanks for sharing your stories with us. I'm glad the "scary situations" are few and far between for you and that you've managed to stay safe throughout your journeys!
My goodness I was on a complete emotional roller coaster just hearing about this experience. I just found your channel so I am a new subscriber but I have gone down the rabbit hole of watching a ton of your videos and during the videos I constantly tell myself I hope he's going to be okay out there I hope the van is okay I hope Millie is going to be okay....lol it's so possible for a good day to turn badly so quickly. So happy to have found your videos. Thank you for taking us along on your journey’s. You’re a great storyteller and completely natural and authentic about it. Much appreciated and refreshing. The cinematography is exceptional.
Very well done!! I have a military background and so very hyper aware. Always observe everything and note what is going on around you. This will help you prepare for the worst, but rarely happens.
Im currently in college and starting a plan on how me and my wife will start our van life, and for these horror reasons we both want to live a van life before we have kids, and your channel has inspired me not only on a build but on a content creation standpoint for me and my wife Wish the best for you ❤
Holy cow! This story was so gripping, you're definitely a very good story teller. It's a risk travelling alone that is true, but I know you'll be okay 🙏🏼 someone is watching over you. ❤
Thank you for sharing and I feel you, brother! Going on six years as a Nomad/RV Dweller and still counting. Courage is all I have = Knowing there is always danger wherever you go, but pushing forward anyway(of course, with precaution and awareness of your surrounding at all times). Stay safe and happy travels. - Greetings from the Nevada Desert!🏕🏜
I have been binge watching your videos. You definitely have the knack for being dramatic and suspenseful! Very entertaining and goofy. And I love that you keep the language clean.
Aloha Trent - Thank you for sharing stories of your van life adventures. Many times only the fun parts are shown which is fine but the downside to van life is also part of the adventure that should be part of the story telling. Thank you for all the “living vicariously thru you” moments that you bring to us 🌺🏝🌊
Your video is the second one I have watched this week where someone approached a van camping in the desert. There is no way I would ever do that alone. Our lives are at stake today, no matter where we are, with all the drugs and shootings, etc. going on. Back many years ago when my son was in 6th and 7th grade, we used to go to the nearby state park to camp in the summer. Then I never had a fear of people, I had a fear of wild animals and snakes. We camped in a tent and we loved that and all was well, but those were different times. Lights out in the park went out at 10 and it was pitch black. We had to walk quite a distance to the bathhouses so had flashlights with us always. The worst thing we had happen was hearing someone walking around the tent and suddenly showing a flashlight into it and saying, "This is the park guard and you need to be quiet and turn off your lights soon." We were laughing about something and we were in the middle of mountains, so everything echoed. When he left, we sat and looked at each other and started to laugh, but muffled out laughs. Be safe and don't laugh after 10PM. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You said it, the times are very different and have actually become dangerous ! I may be forced into van life due to economic demands but I think I would be fine with the downsized lifestyle, I’m just worried about the danger of it ! Being an older female I’m glad to have my Doberman “Layla” to be with me ! I’ve grown up in NYC so I’ve always been aware of my surroundings ! There’s a lot of EVILout there !
Glad you are safe and it was just a teaching moment to be cautious. Stay safe and always Blessing stay aware of your surroundings. What I learned is with all the dogs I had they are very aware of danger. FYI if Millie warns you by barking listen and take her barking as a sign she is protecting you and do what you need to do and leave and get you and her to a safe place.
Hi Trent. I'm glad I came across your channel. Whenever bad things happen, take it in, experience it, learn from it and don't back away. There's always a reason why things turn out that way. Thank you for sharing. You made me forget how bad and sad my day was. 👍👍👍
This story reminds me of relatives who travelled from Germany to Spain twice a year. On one trip, they were driving their RV and parked somewhere in France for the night. After they were sleeping, thieves managed to set off some type of gas into the RV that put them out. The thieves then broke in and robbed them blind, while they were incapacitated. When they came to, they contacted authorities, and were told that there had been a rash of incidents like theirs reported. I have no idea what the substance the thieves used was nor how they managed to get it inside the RV, but it’s terrifying. Found this on net: In July British couple Debbie Keeney and Bob John were gassed and robbed while sleeping in their campervan near Marseille, British newspaper The Mirror reported. They lost several hundreds of pounds worth of jewellery and cash. Police suspect gangs from Eastern Europe are preying on holidaymakers in the same way.
@AlisaRedDashaLaFaldaHillsV41 Brigades Same. Of course, I was only told about the incident by a family member who had no reason to lie. This is all I found on net: In July British couple Debbie Keeney and Bob John were gassed and robbed while sleeping in their campervan near Marseille, British newspaper The Mirror reported. They lost several hundreds of pounds worth of jewellery and cash. Police suspect gangs from Eastern Europe are preying on holidaymakers in the same way.
@@salliegallegos918Yikes that is scary. Maybe having motion sensor lights, video and alarm system that sounds when breached - might help keep the thieves from getting close enough to gas you or to force their way in. Need to protect your fresh water tanks from having stuff put into it too.
Angels Trumpet perhaps, which is used to make the Devil Dust they use to harvest organs from people in some places. Think the plant is indigenous to Latin American countries.
Yeah, in Europe thiefs don't kill people or use guns to scare victims they just use sleeping gas, that way then can steal in peace and doing much less harm if any to people. They do it regularly with houses too. Solution is easy, in house install and turn on night alarm with motion sensors in campers tho? well, good luck.
Bro! What a day! A couple things you should really look into is 1) install a kill switch into the vehicle.. so if someone does try to steal the vehicle it won't start or move. They won't wanna try to repair while trying to steal.. 2) look into getting some flood lights put on top of the van near your door. Flip the switch and scare them away.. (at night)
Always have a backup plan in anything you do. Tell someone where you are and keep in contact with the ones you care about. Life is short so live it and never let fear control you!
I’m not sure if you have one and it probably wouldn’t of worked here, but do you have a Electric Tow Winch? If not, you should get one just in case you get stuck in any ditches or slopes. Then if you had a tree near by you can pull yourself out.
Whst an awesome truck driver! YAY for good people in this world! I also consider these things while living in my van, and I am very grateful to hear you share this, and that in the end all was well.
I give you mad props. You took this situation and learned from it. Many people don't learn and keep going in the same situation. Rare to see people learn from bad situations. I pray you stay safe and healthy. ❤❤
Amazing story with real life struggles. Thank you for sharing your stories and I am looking forward to seeing your new videos soon. Your videos always makes my day.
dude I know exactly what you mean. I traveled for years through europe in my Volkswagen T4 and have spent the nights in ruins in Portugal, cemeteries in France, lost places in Albany etc. a lot of time I felt quite unconformable in the nights and several strange stories happened. however, like you mentioned I realiser that I need experiences like that. You feel alive somehow😁 right now I am building a new bigger van where I can also work (videographer/photographer) throughout the van. I am really excited about your channel and learnt a lot about van building. thanks for that and keep up the good stories✌️
A great video, even while being polished and dramatic, is a real aspect of these “glamorous” lifestyles that so many creators throw out there. It’s not all glitz and glam, sometimes there’s a whole bag of suck involved. Love your work sir, the most genuine content I’ve found where lifestyle is the focus.
Story-teller is RIGHT . WHY , since you document everything you come across on film , why did you not ? . Would have been perfect evidence for the police if it would have advanced into something bad . Made up just to get more views . What was your dog doing ?
Oh son, you need to be so so careful. Reminds me of the time I hitchhiked across Europe. I vowed NEVER to do that again. From the wolf guesthouse to the vampire chicks and their abandoned building, I, like you, learned a valuable lesson. Stay safe son. Perhaps we will share stories one day. God Bless.
I think van life horror stories are beneficial. Others should benefit learning from your experiences. Saying a quick prayer for your continued safety on your journey ☺️
That was really A cool experience. You didn’t get hurt and you didn’t lose any of your possessions… You walked away with experience and wisdom. Thanks for sharing!
Bro, you're an amazing story teller! You've got a gift man! You really kept us on our toes the entire video. This was very real, and very authentic, you really managed to capture your audience well. Amazing video man! Absolutely loved it!
Trent, thanks for this video. Definitely gotta take the bad with the good and I am glad that you have gotten the help. It is your best defense to be aware of your surroundings all ways when you are out and about. I was a meter reader in the Southside of Chicago for a few years and I survived due to me being aware. Had some scary moments as well. I loved your shots and filming talents. Peace, bro!
Love listening to you tell about great adventures and so glad you are ok !! Please be safe and many blessings!! Can’t wait until next time. Just incredible ❤
Dude. I did something like this. Back in my 20’s, I was driving an old Mercedes (great car) and I drove to Mono Lake and I drove down to the lakefront. Like, almost drove into the lake. (TERRIBLE idea). Especially because there was no cell service there. Luckily, I was able to find someone to help (a research scientist!), and they went and called me a tow truck and I got out. Never did that again. Luckily, no creepy folks involved. Glad you made it out ok. Love your videos.
Although this video is explaining the dangers of van life, I must say the video clips you show, as you’re smiling you can see the pure joy in your smile!!! Safe travels brotha 💪🏻
As a nomad myself, I love a good story of fellow adventurers. My best story is a bear breaking into my rig, still the best camp story to date, makes everyone gasp..!! :D Stay Safe, Love and Light,

So glad you are okay and that everything worked out. Was a little scary. Very important to always be aware of your surroundings. You just never know what could happen. Great video. Looked like Millie really enjoyed herself though🐾
That dude was definitely a threat to you. If he would’ve gotten in your van he would’ve attacked you, if even in a stoned state of hallucinatory paranoia. Be much more careful these days, a lot of psychos and strange happenings are out there... stay safe, God bless you and your precious pup.
Wow !! That was some video. And SCARY !!! 😳 Thank God for that very nice gentleman to help you ! 👏👏👏👏👏🫂 I have seen several van lifers go through what you went through and much worse here on UA-cam. They take crazy chances just like you ! I could never !!! 😢 Thanks for sharing, safe travels and God bless. 😇🙏
Dude that would’ve stressed me OUT! 😅 that’s insane, but glad y’all were okay. Reminds me of the only time I’ve had a sketchy encounter camping - maybe someone will enjoy this story. Two friends and I went backcountry desert camping in Big Bend National Park in December 2013. We set up our tent, the sun goes down, we’re inside talking. We hear “hello? Hellooo?” from the darkness outside the tent. We realize we’re not just hearing things. There’s actually a man outside our tent. We unzip to see a man standing there with a LANTERN. Three of us, one of him, what could go wrong. He says something along the lines of “I’m camping nearby, thought I’d introduce myself because you’re the first people I’ve seen in a week” His next words shook us. “Oh and I just have one question for you…” he says, “What do you think happens when you die?” 😵💫 My heart sank. We didn’t even have time to process that question (thankfully) because he immediately started in on religion and how God told him to go to the desert, convert people etc. etc. He said he needed to convert us and he’d be a failure if he didn’t. 😬 We literally tried to tell him, “it’s okay dude, we’re alright, you don’t need to convert us” 😅 Eventually he gave up and said goodnight and went back to his campsite. We were like WTF just happened. We woke up the next day and he drove by our site again to thank us. He said by being unable to convert us that he knew he wasn’t ready (for what, we don’t know) and would drive himself back home to Minnesota. So yeah. The end. Crazy shit happens in the desert 😂
If the sand is dry and soft, one hard way to cross it, would be try to take out most sand in the way you would follow and drop a lot of a water in the track. Close to a lake water wouldnt be the problem. But it takes a long time.
The Dude was probably having a bad trip (in mutliple ways haha). Honestly you handled it the best way possible. Good thing that it seems that he got out of it the next morning.
Yeah considering i did some similar shit on a acid trip i immediately thought dude was tweakin. I had watched the nun while off cid and it led me to running around in the rain for two hours and i found a house with really bright lights and i thought god told me to go there so i literally tried to walk into some random persons house at 1am. Thank god it was locked and thank god they didnt have a ring camera cuz that wouldve been embarrassing asf lmao. But yeah dont do psychedelics without a tripsitter.
Brother, I’m telling you….I’m out on the road throughout the states most of the year and I would advise you need some sort of protection. Although it may rarely happen, you can never predict a threat. It is better to be safe rather than sorry! Safe travels my man, love the content.
So he was swimming with his cam and put none of the footage of him confronting the dude? Yeah a “ story teller “ that’s exactly what he is just doesn’t seem to based if reality is all…
@@LesscoBranden Are you ok? Does it make sense for him panicking to get this guy away from his van and at the same time he should have definitely been recording? Like real or not I’m sure most people wouldn’t have been recording while running to their van. Also let say he did I bet it would have been awful footage of him running and screaming compared to the rest of his clean cut footage
@@rickobrien4025 Why in the hell would he make up that? If he was going to make it up he would make it more extreme but it was just some confused dude on drugs. He didn't take a video of it (Nor would I, I'd be too busy dealing with the situation) and his dog didn't act like your dog - that's honestly not enough to call his story BS. You'd be a pain in the ass to know, if anyone told you something that happened during the day that was interesting at all you'd refuse to believe it, you have no faith in people.

@@sambrooks7862well said, sorry about your circumstances. Thank you for

You should do late night campfire scary story hour!!!! I guarantee you will hit 1 million if u added a scary story bit!!!
No. Basecamp Chris has that covered.
Good luck at the trial. You must feel violated. So sorry that's happened.

I don't need Hello Something but I like your story. We have to take care indeed.
When you drive on sand ,Lower the tire pressure (let some air out) Carry a cylinder of CO2 to re-inflate the Tires! I do that all the time! I also reduces the rattling of washboard roads.
When you stated that it was a non threatening situation I was yelling “Oh the HELL it wasn’t” Keep your head on swivel at all times.

Hi Trent. I'm glad I came across your channel. Whenever bad things happen, take it in, experience it, learn from it and don't back away. There's always a reason why things turn out that way. Thank you for sharing. You made me forget how bad and sad my day was. 👍👍👍
This is why I love America, it’s so easy to ask for help. Love camping!

There where 7 different ones.
From those hybrids where made.
They are sold in Europe as a garden plant.
Bro! (at night)
Also possibly a PA system you can talk and also sound an alarm..

He says something along the lines of “I’m camping nearby, thought I’d introduce myself because you’re the first people I’ve seen in a week”
His next words shook us.
“Oh and I just have one question for you…” he says, “What do you think happens when you die?”
😵💫
My heart sank. We didn’t even have time to process that question (thankfully) because he immediately started in on religion and how God told him to go to the desert, convert people etc. etc.
He said he needed to convert us and he’d be a failure if he didn’t.
😬
We literally tried to tell him, “it’s okay dude, we’re alright, you don’t need to convert us” 😅
Eventually he gave up and said goodnight and went back to his campsite.

When you said he was looking through me he is almost def on shrooms and LSD. Glad he was safe, and yourself.
Wow you are such a great story teller. That was the most scary and suspenseful story I have heard in a while. Stay safe!
Brother, I’m telling you….I’m out on the road throughout the states most of the year and I would advise you need some sort of protection. Although it may rarely happen, you can never predict a threat. It is better to be safe rather than sorry!
Safe travels my man, love the content.
That was crazy!
You rock! Tell Millie we love her
I love that you can do this by yourself or with your dog. I love being by myself. People are scary. 😊
TOO many on drugs. PERIOD.
Best one yet! Real life struggles!
You had me intently listening to you, and how can you not intently stare at you!!!! 😆 Love the video!!
OMG! Thanks for sharing both of those cautionary tales of your actual life experiences. Glad everything turned out okay!
It's good that you learned a valuable lesson without getting hurt or worse. Safe travels 🙏 ❤
Trent you are a great storyteller .. you have a real talent..the emotion and content really had me freaked out a few times!!✌🏽
You’re a fantastic storyteller! You always need to be prepared for any kind of situation!
@@LesscoBranden You beat me to it , Kyle ! Total fabrication . MY dog would have been going NUTS , and he didn't even address that .
Not really
