Righty-o!!! Here's another wood cut out you might like ua-cam.com/video/zuSW2Um6j-s/v-deo.html
That projector brought back happy school-day memories from the 90s. 👍
the flow of the wood grain on the sad felix resonated with me
Yeah, I hear you on that Brian
You paint very well. The colors are very vivid. congratulations.
Thank you sir! I appreciate you watching
HA! @3:41 - If it were only that easy to weed all that out!!🤣
Haha I know right, I started to record it and guess what? It's super boring..
Happy 100th birthday Felix 🍰
Dude, you're incredible.
Haha thanks man!
This is one of your coolest. Seriously. Looks bad ass
Hey thanks man!👊👊👊
Very very cool piece man
Thanks appreciate it
That looks great Gordon! So now I need an old school projector! oh and a vinyl cutter 👍 😊
Hahaha thank you. Vinyl cutter comes in clutch sometimes. And they're fairly inexpensive, if you look on craigslist or Facebook market place
What's that really big stencil printer that you used to print out that design?
Awesome work mate 👍Wow your channel is growing 1.4k👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hey thanks man! Yeah I've made some watchable videos finally hahaha
Hope all is well with baby!
@@IronGordon yeah shes growing to fast mate lol
Can you do this with a glowforge printer 🖨?
What kind of paint did you use?
Love your work man! Keep it up
Thank you so much! This was a fun one to make
Love it.
Thanks Coty!
I see your craft knife and I was watching my Dad who is a leather craftsman he cut a piece of leather with a little knife I'd never seen before so I thought it was a pretty cool tool how precise it was it's called a leather work swivel knife, anyway I'm an artist too and new to the channel and subscribed just thought I'd pass on a little tip It may not even do the job but then again it might be better, keep on keeping on brother.
I didn't know it was Felix's 100th birthday! That's an awesome piece of art mate. You did an amazing job! :) Loved the video, great choice of music too :)
Yeah isn't that crazy, November 1919 he debuted. Thanks for the kind words and watching, I appreciate it!
Nice work! do you sell them? Was wondering, Do you need permission to make/sell licensed characters?
Love it! Your videos are so professional, getting better n better. Cudnt help but noticing your youtube sign down the counter top 🤘🏻
Thank you Mauro! I'm trying to learn new editing tricks for sure. I have a lot of stickers running around they kind of end up on everything haha
Iron Gordon - Art 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
@@skelovade dm me a mailing address on Instagram and I'll send you some stickers. If you want. No pressure ✌️
Righty-O! Cool art. Love Felix. Great video. Mahalo for sharing! : )
Ha ha thank you so much Mahalo amigo
WHAT KIND OF PAPER IS THAT
some resin would have made this look rich
Got an emergency situation on my hands 😥 can resin be applied straight on to one shot that doesn’t have hardener in it? Clear coat reacted with the pinstripe so hoping I can do the others with resin without any issue. Thanks
I've poured resin over one shot with no hardner before with no ill effect. Sorry to hear about your clear coat situation. Did the clear wrinkle the one shot? If that happened more than likely the one shot wasn't fully cured. Just a guess
Love your art🤘. I have to ask where did you get that awesome looking exacto blade from?
Haha! it's in almost every video I've made and you're the first one to ever mention it.
But I made it 😁
@@IronGordon its bad ass. Thanks for the reply and keep up the great content.
@@mikemousseau8617 appreciate it👊
2:40 them dots tho!
Your technique coming in clutch! I think I lay it down to too thick, when it dries it puckers up
@@IronGordon yeah I usually do a dab on a Magazine first.
I also generally try to stay away from larger dots with the handle, I'll just paint those in.
Amazing work! What is the thickness of the wood you use?
I use a 1/4" MDF on most my cut outs. On the this I think it was a 5mm underlayment wood.
This is brilliant. Would love if you sold this on a tshirt or stickers.
knock garage
It doesn't look anything like Mickey Mouse ????
HAHA, Walt said no more Disney fan boy art
What's the light called in the beginning and you do that to draw on wood
What kinda paint do you use?
Great video my friend! Love your profile pic too! Congrats on almost 1.4K! Keep rocking :D
Thank you so much!
What brushes are those ?
Mack lettering brushes and Kafka script liners, link in the description
I love this piece
