@@qoh8363 yeah actually in some circumstances it is acceptable for a woman to smack a guy upside the head, it is absolutely never acceptable the other way around. Our society has gotten so far gone from what is right and wrong, no one understands anymore. Sometimes us guys may need a strong woman that backs us up everyday to knock a little sense into our heads. We can be equals but we aren't the same, somehow that has been forgotten. I was actually thinking about joing a few Olympic events and just toasting everyone, smash some records because I am a woman today..... shits crazy.

The good thing tho is that bars are now having these “special drinks”. The drinks pinpoint what someone, particularly a female (I think), can do if they feel uncomfortable or need something. A ride home, calling 911, etc.
@@berrisfueller6221I saw one at an arcade complex (had a restaurant and bar). It’s usually posted on stalls in the women’s bathroom and it’ll give the name with a bunch of variations depending on the situation (with salt is call the cops, on the other rocks if you wanna be escorted to an Uber, etc).

AND acting like one. Tried looking for it to link it here, couldn't find it, but there's an episode where he keeps pulling out the bartenders one by one to see how long it takes before the owner notices, and when he wants the owner's daughter to leave, he speaks into his thing "Take the daughter out".
And then, on the flip side, the episode where he rides and leads a line of golf carts right up to the building, with the most unamused expression, while on this painfully slow-moving vehicle.
I don't know what is scarier, the fact that this guy asked her if the napkin smelled like chloroform, or the thought of if he has ever used it on others before.

@@Blakeblake-yn7jd Hey can you show some proof at all? Like any? Or just claims? I did research, and apparently none of it's actually faked. But there is a lot of exaggeration and misrepresentation of some things(according to bar owners at least) like if the bars quiet they'll make it seem totally empty or make the owner look more like an asshole than they actually are etc.
The two owners of the underworld/The End and completely real with their own website etc and owned the bar up until they shut it down to go back into music. I couldn't find Jesse, the guy with green hair, anywhere but they said in the video they keep him around because he's got a following and gets people in the bar so maybe you mean that?

honestly since watching this show i feel like i’ve seen so many different portrayals of alcoholism and how it can effect your life, business, relationships, career, etc. i really appreciate the work John does to address it when it’s absolutely necessary, although some of them need prbly professional help (coming from a family of alcoholics)
Yeah, they need medical treatment; therapy and medication. Same with other mental health issues u see in people on the show. To me its kinda frustrating to see it kinda ignored, and people's issues blamed on like morality or willpower

That lady at the end was trying her hardest not to cuss her soon-to-be ex-husband in Spanish for the show, but it would've been so amazing if she just went off on him. As a Spanish speaker myself, insults are much more offensive than in English.

31:45 - I read up on what happened to that bar recently after watching that episode a few weeks ago. Apparently in 2017 there was some sort of arson that gutted the place for about $500,000, the same amount as the owner claimed they were in debt for on the show.

Wow. He didn't even acknowledge that incredibly beautiful rockabilly style woman sitting at his bar even when he leaned in right next to her to check a drink. Saying hi takes two seconds, and you have an opportunity to be endearing by mentioning you're making a new drink and then ASK HER IF SHE WANTS ONE TOO. It's good practice, for one, and brings her into the bar's social atmosphere smoothly. Even if the customer declines, you can then get their order WHILE making the other drink. It's a near empty house, there's no excuse. Her commentary kicked their butt when she was making her drink. You're a performer as a server, fulfill that.
