"Man, fuck John. I'm tough. I've won awards!" then awkwardly rides away on a moto-scooter.
Maybe participation awards...
The honk had me dying 🤣
@@rambam1994 bro same 😂😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ok let’s be honest here ..yeah the dude is a total douche but the owner is worse. He actually said “Kevin makes great food. He’s an asset”
That’s a much bigger issue than a guy with delusions that he’s a good. No way should a guy with that poor judgment be running a lemonade stand let alone a bat!
The one chef that said he had cooking awards. That means he won the blue ribbon for his chili at the fair when he was seven
Damn. Nice one!
Also, did you notice his shirt is inside out? lol
To funny😅
He went out with a moped too lol
@@TaliZVasTyria he has to have some way back to mom's basement
She said " i got fired cuz i was the only person who couldn't find something to do" so you choose to sit at the bar and get drunk WHILE YOU'RE AT WORK😂😂😂
"If I fired everyone, I wouldn't have any employees"
... umm.. then hire new employees
😂😂duh!!
It's not always that easy to get multiple employees that fast and get them trained and the right type of employee at that
I love how Jonh gets out of the car all fast and mad but then slowly walks to the bar
Boss
You can tell when Jon Taffer is angry. His eyes bug out and he looks like Rodney Dangerfield.
*Dramatic Effects*
It’s so funny you #scottsherrysr, cause I have been watching this man for I believe to the closer end of 10 years, and that is my favourite part of every show, John gets fired up, he so angry movin fast to tear up some asses, and walks in like a G of a gentleman 🤩
And he always walks into the bar with this look on his face like he just smelled a fart.
I actually respect Wayne for how he handled the firing. Accepted it, knew the bar life wasn't it, and he looks forward to a new chapter. No fight, no shout, no begging, he just took it and carried on.
So why the hell did the lady want to keep him in so bad?
Im glad im not the only one who thinks that. Hope hes doing well right now.
What I want to know is how Britney is doing even though she said "Whatever, I'm fired anyway" after talking to the security about her paychecks being bounced.
Are you insane? He knew his time pillaging the business was over. He got a slap on the wrist, so why would he fight back when he got tens of thousands of dollars for free?
She made the mistake of running her place like a charity instead of a business. A job requires effort and investment, people who don't see that are prone to be taken advantage of or slacking.
1) He was stoned.
2) She was fucking him.
13:29 Frank and Mia we’re definitely more than friends 😂
😂😂
Fr but she ant a blonde 👱♀️ 😅😂😅😂😅😂😅
Kevin: “I have cooking awards!”
Also Kevin: *squeezes the life out of the burgers*
It was painful to watch that man cook.
And he said awards like they arent notated and easily researchable
I love how distraught the grandkids are about the over pouring but they were stealing themselves. Ridiculous.
They were both pieces of shit if you ask me.
@@DreFromMaine8472 Agreed. And I'm angrier with their mother because she's the damn manager and easily could have nipped all of that in the bud and not have to consult Jon. This is why hiring family is always asking for trouble when they're unqualified or underqualified for the job.
That scene made my blood boil
Classic projection & hypocrisy - "I'm deeply offended/angry that you did this thing that I'm also doing to an even greater extent, BUT HOW DARE YOU DO IT!"
What’s even more ridiculous, is that both of those girls have dated the grandson at some time or another. Which is why, working with partners is a train wreck waiting to happen.
At 1:18:43 he says "Nine pounds of failure and it wasn't your fault, girls. You guys worked your butts off tonight." Three of them turned their heads to look at him with surprise. You could see that they were touched for being acknowledged and praised for their hard work.
I saw that too. It feels great that he let them know it wasn’t their fault
One of the guys in the bar looks like Jesse Pinkman from Breaking bad
Yeah they needed some of Taffer's unique brand of positive affirmation 😎👌🏼
we knew gary was horrible because he was not only lazy he didn't know how to do his job. See bar rescue episodes these owners should not hire friends or family members as managers or head chefs who don't have the right refences or experience
He gives credit when credits die then rips anyone who makes excuses for shitty or unsafe practices
"WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS TO AN OLD FASHIONED???!!"
"uh, I'm a server so I don't know"
😂😂😂
I'm not even a bartender and I can make an old fashioned. 1.5-2oz of spirit (seen them with tequila, rum, whiskey, etc), 2 dashes of Ango (or pechauds depending on spirit), twist of orange over ice in a rocks glass. The fact she had the stones to say "I'm a server. I don't know" is horse's ass. YOU serve the drinks, therefore YOU should be familiar with the menu
1:14:00 Love the support for Bobby. Lisamarie even blotted him :)
That first woman was right to be angry about late checks
I fucking love how they switched the label on Gary's name to manager to ex-manager
The editor be like : ‘I am fast a fuck boi’ while changing the designation
*from manager to ex-manager
They did it to LB too during the firing scene his title was former partner
Adapting to situations quickly, it's the mark of a good editor 👏
😂🤭
The first guy, Wayne, handled that so well. He knew this wasn’t the job for him and I bet he was relieved when he got fired. Good luck to him wherever he is now!
And hopefully he learned from his mistakes.
I think the owner was the problem
Some people like that honestly want to quit but feel bad about doing it because the owner probably told them at some point "I really need you to stay" even though they hate the job and know they don't like doing it and want to move on they stay cause they feel bad for quitting. Even said at the end something about time to move on to different things
That cook was trash. He handled it so well because he was trash and had gotten away with paychecks for making trash.
Dude, he was fucking stoned out of his mind.
Jon Taffer just stole my bar from me!!" Yeah, and he barely lifted a finger doing it!! Guess it didn't take much effort!! 😂😂😂😂😂
Well, what did you do to stop him?? NOT A DAMN THING!!!
59:53 that’s really sweet to see John encouraging the people who are actually doing what they’re supposed to. Hes not mean all the time, he just gets frustrated because he knows how the bar should work and he’s there specifically to help them from having to close.
1:01:45 “I really don’t understand” okay well basics start at, don’t stand on the bar! Don’t get drunk while your working! Even if it’s 3 shots like you said, your to drunk already!
It’s so extremely annoying when people become totally obnoxious while drinking
This is why I have no interest in going to bars. But this show is entertaining.
@@queenofawesome2550 same here
It really is. When I go to bars. I have 2 drinks and leave. But when I do go overboard and get drunk, I get really giddy, giggly, and have a craving for tacos. As far as I’m told, I get nothing like these people
@@queenofawesome2550 Understandable. When people go to bars to just get drunk it really takes the fun out of it. I’ve been to bars where people come and vibe, and everyone’s just having a good time. Anyone who gets puss drunk is kicked out
And even more annoying with the people are staff.
It's so funny when drunk people get fired cus they always say "I DONT UNDERSTAND iT dOeSn'T mAkE aNy SeNsE"
right? it’ll probably make sense to them when they sober up lol
Aaaaaand that's why they are sad and broke.
Me: Because you screwed up by drinking stupid!
Thats why theyre called "Drunk people" lol
Alcohol makes people idiots
I feel sorry for the server, getting fired just because the manager is trying to look big in front of John. Most servers are doing 10-12 hour shifts often without breaks. Many times they're just grabbing what food they can to make it through the day.
Dude was probably overworked and not being given his legally required breaks Repeatedly. Stops for 30 seconds to have a bite so he won't get hangry and gets fired.
Also, 100% unfair dismissal. In almost all circumstances you can't fire someone on their first infraction.
no fr that made me so angry
Welcome to

@@SendarSlayer yeah but these shows aren't scripted but they are somewhat staged, I'm sure when the employees gave a signature to show their face there was sumn saying they could do that (and much more) in the fine print. Bobbie is my favorite manager there is. He’s really inspiring and I think it’s so cool that he know what he’s doing!
The way Bobbie is just sweating like crazy is kinda funny but also shows he’s working his ass off. And also, nina is such a dick. If I go to a bar with her there, I won’t ever go back

To be fair Melody and Jana didn’t deserve to be fired, they were over pouring because they weren’t trained properly. It’s the audacity of the girl to be mad when both her and her brother were stealing
Family business 😂😂😂😂
Renee was pretty hypocritical when she said that Brittany was rude to the lady who was trying to help, but next thing you know, she's rude to Jon when he's trying to help her fire Wayne. 🙄 🤦🏻♀️
Renee also didn't want to cover a hole in fear of killing a squirrel child but didn't pay her employee until she got terminated for defending herself.
I think it’s funny y’all sticking up for the employee. She was useless. Wanted to hang out and drink and smoke while getting paid.
If she was owned from bounced checks funny that she waited til she was getting called out for not doing her job to flip over it.
Yeah it’s wrong if she wasn’t being paid but the way she handled it wasn’t right either.
Take a stand and don’t work there til you are paid or actually WORK whole are there & address the bouncers check before or after shift.
Her attitude sucked
@@princessrockman9528 100% she knew EXACTLY what she was doing causing that scene and you know she never turned those checks in either there’s no signature on the backs of them, she’s totally trying to swindle more money out of the business before she leaves cause she know that the manager is bad with money, not agreeing how it was handled but I’m glad she got her ass fired,

My favorite thing about this is that no matter how bad the bar is he still introduces himself to the owner before going off the rails
30:47 ironic that the brother and sister are getting upset at the employee stealing when they both got caught stealing themselves out of the register.
They were upset because it was their money to steal.
Yeah that one really pissed me off
Well if they own the place technically they can but at the very least it's setting a dumb af example so they shouldn't be doing that either way.
@@joefuentes2977 technically grandpa owns the place. So its just you stealing from your grandparents and saying well we are family so technically your money is my money
It's because they kept their tips in the cash drawer, and that's because they didn't bother to have a proper system for keeping track of tip money
"I know I took the clothes but I didn't take them intentionally to steal them"
Oh my fucking god are you kidding me?
That was hilarious.
"I know I held him down and stabbed him in the neck but I didn't do it to murder him."
See the difference? THERE IS NONE.
"yes I stole the clothes but it doesn't mean I stole them!"
Every argument the woman tried to make made my brain hurt, how did she not realize that taking things without paying for them is stealing? Had she just not been called out for it until Taffer got there? It boggles the mind.
Jon: "this is non negotiable, ur fired"
Later Jon: "he didn't even try to negotiate, how dare he"
Melissa's reaction to getting fired reminds of a spoiled child being told "no" for the first time. Something tells me she's used to having her way all the time. And that, "You've only been here for two days, you don't know anything!" gives me the same attitude of a spoiled brat.
Also, props to Dalia for the big turnaround and having the strength to fire Melissa.

Jon is very intimidating when he walks in a bar. He looks like a mob/mafia guy looking for someone who did him wrong. LOL! I love this show. Gave me a better look at how most bars/clubs run. No wonder my times at bars is less nowadays. He needs to come down to Prescott, Arizona and do some of them here, for sure!

It really was pretty sweet, and well deserved
Wholesome 👍
I love it at 12:50, where she thinks that her looks will protect her from getting fired. Then Bam, at 13:33 she is actually shocked that two days of No call, No show, or lateness has actual consequences in Real life😆
Imagine being the person who has to say “Hey, I need your microphone back.” As there’s a pissed employee walking away because they got fired.
If I ever get fired again, I'm just going to look my boss in the eye and scream, "But we're having a great time!" and see if that changes their mind.
Bold strategy Cotton let's see how it plays out
You mean WHEN you get fired again…
@Sup bro No, it just means more and more of the Master's slaves have realized that it's impossible to live on minimum wage and have realized they're not as trapped as they once thought they were. Most have either been able to find better, more humane, and higher paying jobs, or been able to go back to school, or both.
That one guy firing that dude for eating in the back when the guy explained “yeah my shift is over” was a little outta pocket. Maybe just say hey man just don’t do that again. To fire the kid was a little nutty to me.
You get fired anywhere for getting caught eating food without paying for it
@@davidjackson9680 that didn't seem to be the problem.
That firing was out of place for sure, but maybe these short clips don't have all the context.
It wasn't really about what he did, they needed someone to use as an example and he drew the short straw
Maybe it was like a 3rd strike. Maybe he had gotten caught twice before. And if I remember, they were in a rush. That's also an automatic firing. Eating while in a rush is an automatic firing. Even if your a great employee.
@@natelofimusic lol what are you on about bruh. Automatic firing...you're talking straight bs and it's both hilarious and sad.

His personality and his determination are PERFECT for the food service industry. If I had a bar, I would give my dominant arm for him to be my front manager. Bobby deserves a fricken medal.
I’ve had many years in the bar business and can tell you, you simply cannot be pissed at your bartenders for over pouring if you couldn’t be bothered to train them. Over pouring for many is a natural instinct you have to teach them the correct way.
“I didn’t get paid until the third week” I wonder if she started at the beginning of the pay period 😂
What really pissed me off was the fact that those grandkids were acting like they cared about the overpouring yet were stealing from them. I have a degree in sports management and even though my experiences isn’t in the bar business, I know that managers are responsible for everything that goes on. They’re responsible for hiring and firing employees for stuff like this. The owners are guilty as well not for stealing obviously but for enabling this behavior. This is why family owned restaurants don’t usually succeed.
It was an insidious situation in that episode. Stealing and overpouring aside, the grandson Justin was porking all the female staff. Sure fire way to get a s£xual harassment lawsuit 🤦🏻♂️
My favorite moment of all has to be 37:00 where he gives her authority and the simple “I need to clean up the mess” “where is that mess” “next to me” 😂😂

@CJ Groves a pretty successful local one. When it’s slow they eat in the back and then once they have food up or need to check on a customer then they go do that and come back and eat. We don’t get breaks and the waitresses work from 3pm-10pm so they need to eat dinner at some point. the best place I’ve ever worked.

@@Elleoaqua but, I mean, that was when Ramsay was going for his third Michelin star; an employee being out in front chugging water in front of guests would absolutely be something that would affect a Michelin review. @@NiaMSnow The grandkids were using the cash register as a tip jar, because they & the mother weren’t educated on the proper systems for tips & money accounting. Melody overpoured drinks & gave away shots without charging for the extra alcohol. Janna became collateral damage because she was new to bartending, wasn’t properly trained, and overpoured the most. Janna’s only mistake was drinking the alcohol, but it wasn’t entirely her fault.
As crappy as an employee is as long as they work for you its horrible to not pay them. I worked at a place once and my check would always bounce. He would then tell me he wanted my numbers up. During my interview he said to get 30 items a day done. I was at 60. He kept pushing the number up Everytime. Guess he bounced to a different state... he owes money. Oh and he was a pastor of a church. Him and his dad were shady.
There's the old saying:- If You Pay PEANUTS You Get MONKEYS, If You Pay NOTHING You Get F*** ALL
There are a lot of moments in Bar Rescue where people are improperly heroized and demonized. An employee screaming for a proper paycheck isn't something that should be looked at as shameful it's called getting what you deserve any way you can.
There are also a lot of fights that happen over the seasons that are actually justified between staff and sometimes customers but again, it's usually the wrong person being called out.
As it is I dunno if this type of firing is even legal, they're literally naming and shaming people before firing them at best and they're brought into a film set and miced all to be fired on camera at worst, it makes me wonder if any of them have sued Bar Rescue or the bars for improper termination.
@Dr. Hibbs
I csn tell you've never worked for an independent scummy employer before nor have you needed to actually use laws for yourself.
All that legal nonsense is wonderful, truly, try fighting for it and now you're spending months handling this issue not even worth the time.
People like them need to be shaken by the neck before they do the right thing and if you're a woman you have the ability to freak out and get what you want so why not?
It's never an employee's fault for taking advantage of an "easy gig", so if you fire them expect to get a scene for the money you owe them, that's the real world in scum business.
You all sound like a bunch of thugs. I feel sorry for anyone you work for.
Destroying their property to make up for your pay? That’s pathetic.
Y’all want to argue about “federal laws” when clearly laws mean nothing to you. I think the fact you would lower yourself to that level speaks volumes about your character. I feel sorry for anyone that hires you or has to work with you.
FYI lots of shadiness in the bar biz so I think it’ll be kinda funny if you decide to trash their stuff and end up walking away with some broken fingers as a goodbye present 😂
church ppl are all shady....
5:32 that's the face of a woman who is SMITTEN by Jon Taffer 😂
When Gary quits and yells at Jon that he doesn’t need an excuse Jon looks so stunned 😭
58:50. My stomach was in knots. John Taffert takes no prisoners. I love his directness. Refreshing.
I know little prick had the balls to try that
30:09 friendly reminder in this same episode (I think just before this clip) the grandchildren here were caught stealing yet they're disgusted at the employees, two wrongs don't make a right but still.
get ready buddy
apparently theres people who will freaking die on the hill defending them
trust me
TheHeavenly FB You know what pisses me off about that?? That restaurant (if I recall correctly, that was Kerry's Sports Pub) was bought by a retiree as a gift for the manager of that place -- his daughter. She went and hired staff mostly (or entirely) made of her children and their exes, and claimed she couldn't implement any systems and/or standards in place to ensure daily operations are up to par. I'm like 'WTFYM??!! That's bull and you know it, you're the manager, wear the pants!!'. Then when Jon busts her children and exes about theft, 'one more chance'. All the staff minus Ken should be ashamed of themselves, but I'm honestly more angry with her because she's let the theft and other mismanagement happen on her watch.
@@johnathanpatrick6118 well as jon points out, daddy's still paying for it
in her mind, if the money doesnt run out then theres no problem
@@mrroboshadow That's one owner my heart breaks for, that's the thanks he gets from her and his grandchildren...
That one brand new bar tender wasn't even intentionally stealing I'm pretty sure, she just didn't have any experience and didn't know how much she's meant to be pouring but ended up fired anyhow due to the circumstances
Are you a manager or a mother? That really woke her up! Thank you John! 🎉 she was playing mom the whole time but it took John to wake her ass up! It’s a business! Not a playground!
38:45 He's still a Mario Kart 8 specialist with that 50cc moped. Still the worst attitude.
I haven’t even seen the video yet, but I know you’re talking about revving that stupid moped like a motorcycle
He's like Trevor Phillips. (Scooter Brothers)
As a Mario Kart fan, I knew exactly what the fuck you’re talking about 😂😩🐌
Scooters are the transportation of choice in Key West. That beep-beep is the mating call of Spring breakers. 😎. But grown adults use them too
@@Elleoaqua that doesn’t make it better 😂
The guy who delivered the pizzas to the bar was equivalent of Jesus walking into a room 😂
That chef riding aggressively away on a mo-ped 🤣🤣 funniest thing I've seen
When dude got in his moped and was like I'm taking my participation awards and I'm outta here 🛵💨💨😂😂😂⚰️⚰️⚰️
i've won cooking awards, gets fired, drives away on a scooter...
BEEP BEEEEEP (hahahahahahah!)
Like a BAWS
That’s Kevin. He is a total ass after getting fired for cooking a hamburger and making fairways a complete disgrace for the bar that people won’t love. 🤣
"Yes, I took it but I didn't steal it" LMAO
Right she was a complete moron🙄🙄😒🤔🤔
tweaker!
If you took money from the cash register for working at a bar, that is stealing. 😠
LisaMarie wiping the sweat off of Bobby's brow, that's quite the compliment.
Kevin getting pissed at everyone and then riding off on a scooter gets me every time
58:50 -- the coldest of shoulders!! Handshake denied?! Damn, Jon!!
1:00:56 -- 'I only had two shots'...TWO SHOTS TOO MANY, ISABELLA!!!! You ain't supposed to be drinking behind the bar!!!!
drinkers always minimize. drug users always exaggerate...a truism of rehab intake LOL
Actually I would’ve said that she had three shots too many.
@@Elleoaqua Why do addicts lie about their addiction? It's shame, and stigmatizing drug users certainly doesn't help with that shame. Addiction needs an emotional hook to grab on to as well. If someone like myself is very prone to diagnosed depression then drugs become incredibly easy to become dependent on. I have also noticed people who are addicts had addictions in childhood. Sucking thumb into later years, bitting nails, and playing video games are things that can help build the coping pathways that make drugs so comforting and appealing. The same hook I have to alcohol is the same j had as a kid for video games. It's a way to check out from the daily depression I deal with.
There is no escape from Bevintel, if you're stealing it will find you every single time.
Also, 1:13:02 hats off to Bobby at Pro's. He went from doing almost nothing at the start of the episode to being the saviour of Pro's and becoming what a real GM is made of. 🙌
Bobby is the f-ing man, could you imagine him and Ashley Clark behind the same bar???
@nerdstop5025 that would be one hell of a bar! ❤
Bevintel knows all o.O
I've been watching this show forever and I think we can all agree Tam Tam is a bar rescue legend 😂😅
Sometimes, I feel like "this couldn't be real, no employee acts like this right?"
29:55 gotta love the fact that Lacey would 'vomit' on their employees and she does EXACTLY the same in that same episode.
She only cares because it was her money to steal.
@@lukerosales5879 it's still setting a dumb af example. It's still wrong in that sense. No good manager or owner would be doing things like that. It's just extreme incompetence at the very least.
@@joefuentes2977 I know. She and her thug of a brother threw the other employees under the bus for something MINOR that could've easily been corrected. Overpouring? Can be fixed. Inexperience? Can be fixed. Stealing hundreds of dollars from your grandma? Gateway to running a meth lab.
@@lukerosales5879 also it's technically illegal to just take money willy nilly as an owner you need to pay taxes and it can ruin the corporate veil if you get sued. Also big question would be is she even a legal owner. I'm guessing no.
@@lukerosales5879 yeah it's just a show a lot of times they call them back when the show is over.
