I really like that you bundled the 4 floors with the boss battle this time around, it helps me remember your setup and your specific situation before you engage in a strategic fight.
I also liked seeing this "bloopers reel" from failed attempts at the beginning of the video, funny and informative also.
Of course loving your subtitled commentary as always, I hope everybody watching your channel knows to enable Closed Captions on your playthrough content in order to have the best experience :)

A little tip: put up quiet music during bossfights (except for 1, no one takes it seriously).
I'll start making more changes on the next full run, like adding music, maybe more sounds, and built in captions. Just finishing off this one first and keeping it consistent for now. Good idea

Sooo......every 9-ch is one tactic basically? Re-roll until Ring of Haste + reach weapon or projecting? On every class? What?
Or whatever haste effect will come earlier. Might as well play a bunch of pixels with no stats or abilities whatsoever, just haste+reach fishing sadly :(
Its his style. There are a lot of ways to finish the game. Its the method that he feels comfy. You can finish the game in other ways

In my opinion, It's the easiest/most consistent way to beat 9ch. Either get RoH or armor of Flow works as well. Made a video about this type of strat a while back: ua-cam.com/video/3VUEdp-DAUQ/v-deo.html
That said, it's definitely not the only way. I've seen people finish it with battlemage builds, or Rogue builds with multiple artifacts (hourglass, chalice, cloak), Assassin build and abusing the artifact recharging on eat talent with a +10 Horn of Plenty. I have a recording of a 9ch necromancer run I'll post in the future as well.
In the end, I just find it more common to get something like an armor of flow by using enchantment scrolls. It doesn't require much re-rolling.
@@roguelikespixels Realized that my comment sounded kinda offensive, so I want to correct myself kinda: I love your videos and it's not really an issue that you personally play that way, but due to lack of 9-ch runs on yt and comments on these kind of runs on reddit, I think that this strategy is pretty much the only one consistent strat for 9-ch. And...you know, if the only viable tactic for hardest runs out there is to ignore all the synergies, cool stuff, gear and progression and just step away-poke, step-away-poke it's not the problem with players doing that, it's a flaw in game design
