Worth comparing Dow Jones industrials with Dow Jones transport as well. Gives a very interesting result since Dow Jones transport is way down. Suggest coming recession possibly. Brilliant video as usual!
Brad, call up a chart of a stock that rallies +100% within a couple of years. Chances are you'll see several pullbacks of between 15 and 30%. For medium term trend following, an effective stop should be able to see off such declines. I'd generally suggest considering an ATR stop with a multiple of around 8 to 12. Shorter term strategies would have closer settings. Thanks for tuning in :-)
The Dow Jones is a price weighted index with 30 stocks. I don’t know why investors still put weight on the Dow. The trend is clearly up and has been. Is it possible the equal weighted S&P 500 isn’t relevant? The leading stocks continue to lead. What if these companies will continuing to monopolize the global economy and market? I’m not sure the equal weighted index matters moving forward

Equal weight underperformed since early 2023. Meaningless signal.
