Wilmer Hutchins Jazz Band Plays Chameleon by Herbie Hancock

Yesterday at an event for my friend and coworker Adam Bazaldua, I recorded our school jazz band playing this Herbie Hancock classic. The band leader is Mr. Williams. The guy on the left doing the sound level mixing is school band leader Carlton Cooper. Two of my students are playing in the band, the electric bass player Larnarl and a trumpet player Rayven. The band used this event as a warmup for the Alcorn State Jazz Festival in Vicksburg, MS where they will be performing in two weeks.
