I bought this from Audiocom Balcatta Perth, incl. installation. However as soon as I'm out of metro areas the AM radio does not work. The cameras have been isolated to prevent interference on the AM bandwidth, but still no joy. The aerial and cable have been replaced. I'm very disappointed bc I need AM as I work very remote outside FM broadcast range.
where can buy extension cord so i can move the box further from the head unit as i dont have the space behing the head unit and the cord is only about 10 inchs long , ?
How responsive is the UI? I had their top F70DA and the response of that drove me nuts. I bought an android headunit but it lacks a bit and doesn't sound anywhere near as good as the pioneer.
question on the inputs -i understand there is a USB type C connector but is there also a AUX audio 3.5 mini jack on this unit for external audio input. All i can see is a video/Audio jack ? can you confirm
Why didn’t you show us the back of the unit to show the mounts? Can you fit it in the top of a double din and use the lower half for a storage pocket or a uhf radio?
@@ant208 hey mate. I bought this unit and fitted it into a double din console. It’s bit shorter than a standard din chassis and does leave a gap. I’ve mounted a uhf radio in the space below that has a fascia. The screen does stick out a bit far using the standard holes and you can kinda see a bit of a gap. But the screen is big enough to cover it, so you don’t see anything unless your looking around it.
Hi Daniel, This is an Australia model, the buttons are on the left so that when you are using the buttons it doesn't obscure your view of whats happening on the screen.

Apple currently doesnt support mirroring via car play, unless there is a app for it and its got car play functionality, if you have a Android tablet you can mirror it onto the unit.
What did you end up going with ? I'm about to make a decision and I'm thinking of going with the Alpine iLX-F509A for my Prado. Seems a lot smoother and more modern interface

The US models are on the left. Would have cost too much to change it for us i guess.
FOr me id have to adjust in down cause on the top are the AC vents i worry the screen will block the ac vents must adjust it downwrds.

bad for Right-hand drive countries. no tactile buttons and the capacitive ones are on the left
On the pioneer unit you can move the on screen widgets and customise your home screen with the apps you use the most.
