Just recently got into Kill Team after having painted (but unplayed) mini's sitting on my shelf for years. Had a ton of fun with my first game, and this channel has been a hugely useful resource for helping me learn to play. Subbed, and looking forward to watching through the backlog of BatReps!
So. In kill team, the astra militarum infantry are no longer used only as walls of meat? Now they are capable of killing something? I was sad to see battle reports in 40k where this faction with such great lore and aesthetics was always devastated (infantry only) and 90% of the casualties were caused only by vehicles. How can you have twenty guys shooting laser weapons and not make a single scratch?
@@53rdcard How come these guys armed with little flashlights have carried the empire for ten thousand years? I mean, you can give them power armor and competent weapons, but no, give all that to the fanatical and crazy battle nuns (sexy but crazy at the end of the day). Not even Sigmar came close to that.

Am I missing something or are you counting lasgun shots as 3/4, as if they were bolters?
I am yeah; they're pretty much all equipped with hotshot capacitors to give them +1/+1

MAN, this just show how poor the tombworld is! They are strong, have good firepower but they are too slow.
It completely took me by surprise! I was sure this would be an easy win for tombworld but that limited mobility really hindered them

I agree with you 100%, but when it comes to 20+ guys shooting lasers and not being able to hit anything, its been in star wars for 47 years
