It might reflect the “truth” in some respects but there are certainly more balanced formulations out there that more accurately reflect reality. Firstly, you could approach improvement from the perspective of finding what enriches your life rather than compensate for personal deficiencies. If you want a concrete example of something that you could strive for, I’d say learn a language to sharpen your mind and seek out authentic experiences in a foreign culture to understand your own. A lot of these videos don’t really provide actionable advice.

I dated a woman for 7 years, She persued me, and not the other way around. I was still young so I figured why not. It was great at first, sex never wavered in the 7 years, that was never an issue. Slowly though I began to see what the final outcome was. It was about her established life, and that she didn't have to adjust. I was the one that had to make all the adjustments. Leave me place, quit my job which i didn't want to, still working that job going on 24 years, her saying stuff about my family which spun my head. When a woman comes to you saying your family has approached her saying stuff and asks you to take sides big red flags should be waving. it got to the point I just wanted out so I could breath and collect my thoughts. To this day my family says they have no idea what I'm taking about or what I think they said to her. That was the clincher, because no matter what was the truth my family comes first before a womans drama. My old man is in his grave so asking him what was the confrontation with her will never be learned, and I don't care. I just walked away with all my stuff and never returned. Only response I got was 3 years later with her texting me "enjoy being alone the rest of your life". That's when I knew I did the right thing, because any woman whose with you that long doesn't say that to you if they truly have your best interest in mind. You can still try to get a gf without chasing women, I suggest approaching the woman you want and asking them out on a date and don’t be afraid of getting rejected, but just talk and get to know women with the goal of getting a gf without chasing them and if they aren’t interested just move on to the next. Haven't had one since 2002, had plenty drop the hint but its always fun to say I don't date and watch their disappointment, some get desperate after I keep ignoring the hints and actually ask me out and im happy to go for a coffee or something but kindly explain im not interested in dating or hooking up, from my experience, a lot of them get so extremely frustrated at being turned down that they show their true colors and remind me why I decided against it in the first place so its a win win for me lol
I dated a woman for 7 years, She persued me, and not the other way around. I was still young so I figured why not. It was great at first, sex never wavered in the 7 years, that was never an issue. Slowly though I began to see what the final outcome was. It was about her established life, and that she didn't have to adjust. I was the one that had to make all the adjustments. Leave me place, quit my job which i didn't want to, still working that job going on 24 years, her saying stuff about my family which spun my head. When a woman comes to you saying your family has approached her saying stuff and asks you to take sides big red flags should be waving. it got to the point I just wanted out so I could breath and collect my thoughts. To this day my family says they have no idea what I'm taking about or what I think they said to her. That was the clincher, because no matter what was the truth my family comes first before a womans drama. My old man is in his grave so asking him what was the confrontation with her will never be learned, and I don't care. I just walked away with all my stuff and never returned. Only response I got was 3 years later with her texting me "enjoy being alone the rest of your life". That's when I knew I did the right thing, because any woman whose with you that long doesn't say that to you if they truly have your best interest in mind. I take care myself just fine, and I have peace of mind 24/7.
