I hope you enjoy the movie! I don't have Netflix, so I won't be able to watch it. But I saw a comment on another PTX reaction of someone who'd never heard of Pentatonix before watching the movie - they thought the members were all just actors playing the part of a singing group, until they saw the reaction and realized that, yes, Pentatonix really IS a well-known a cappella group! I would guess that is not an unknown reaction to the movie, either! I know that at least the Trio have all got some acting experience, and I would guess that Matt probably has done some in school as well, so Kevin is the only one I'm not sure about - but he always seems so confident and self-assured that I think he could pull it off even if he was a novice at it!
The film is cheezy as hell but a fun cheezy. (the side characters are the some of the most fun in the film especially Roxy and "the cousin", enjoy their "manager" Becca being annoyed every time PTX burst into sudden harmony/homophony)
5:30 Pentatonix is kind of a genius doing this 'stops' on a few of the cover they have done, for example on their cover of 'sweater weather' or their performance of 'born to be wild' on the tv show sing off.
Not sure if you could tell from the comments.... Pentatonix was in a Netflix film and this song is from it, and it is also the name of the film. They were playing themselves. This song is obviously in it. I think it is a Hallmark type Christmas rom-com. There is a three minute clip of Pentatonix being (a probably exaggerated version of) themselves. I am sure you can find it if you Google it.
Hey jenn can you react to mary did you know by voctive featuring mark lowry? Also fun fact Mark Lowry was the original song writer for mary did you know.
It's really good! As the lyricist, Mark's interpretation is very personal and different from any other performance of the song I've ever heard, and, hey, it's a Voctave Christmas song!
May I be so bold as to direct you to a most spectacular rendition of "O love that will not let me go" sans David Phelps (oh yes! Despite him actually curating the song.) but with a very elated guest appearance by Joel from the Acoustix making a most splendid effort on bass? ua-cam.com/video/1O6z1t4sveQ/v-deo.html There is something here... Hello Jennifer, Can you please check out an all female rock band from Japan called *BAND-MAID* and the song *Alone* thank you and wish you a Merry Christmas 🎅
Listen to the very beginning of the video. She explains that she does reaction _and analysis_ and if you want to listen to the song uninterrupted, you can follow the link that's in the description of this video.
@@N_F414 .I can Read and I understand that's what she's doing. She can still do that without stoping after only 5 seconds. I Follow many other Reactors that give their Analysis on song's that let it play more than 5 seconds.
@@ginawhitfield6797 I’m going to follow your logic in my response to this: I just don’t get why you have to comment complaining that it’s not to your liking when it’s exactly what you were told to expect. I understand what you are saying, but you could just move on and only watch reactors who do things as you prefer. I see that many other followers understand the purpose of this channel and appreciate all of the stops.
Of course my favorite parts of the film is when PENTATONIX is on screen but overall the film is cute😊
PTX are so flipping cute in that movie. Just adorable.
It is fun to have a few new tunes celebrating the holidays - best wishes for your own new release!
Thank you!!

BTW Kirsten is very pregnant with her second child - happy for them! The movie is very sweet and enjoyable.
I saw pictures of her. She looks six or seven months along. Can't see how the girl can breathe much less sing.

Yeah, there probably won't be any Oscar nominations for this film, but it is cute.

Hello Jennifer,
Can you please check out an all female rock band from Japan called *BAND-MAID* and the song *Alone* thank you and wish you a Merry Christmas 🎅
Thank you! I never heard of this band I got to say I just love that pop punk sound, and I can see why that song has over 7 million views ❤
I just don't get why you can't let the song play for more than 5 seconds before you stop it.. jeez
Her "job" is to react and analyze, that's what she's doing. If you want the song uninterrupted, go listen/watch to the original

If all else fails, READ the TITLE of the video. Pretty sure it includes the word “analysis” in it.
