@@operatortundra8399 I understand why people are suspicious, I have the same doubts. I just can't understand people convinced beyond the reasonable doubts in situations when there are so many questions needs to be answered.
Besides Boeing as a company got huge reputational and probably financial losses as a result of that death. Someone in Boeing could have benefited from it, but did they have power and money to do that, I have no idea.
It doesn't mean anything one way or another, but I don't see better way to clarify it but to look at investigation results.
Including results from family lawyers if they got money to hire them.
People can lie and be inconsistent even without stress, people under stress can do weird things, no doubt. 😔

@@u2mister17why do you believe that it was done by "union thugs"? I have no opinion either way since I don't know anything about the situation but I'm a bit surprised that people would think it would be done specifically by people from a union versus some bad person in general who was working for a very bad rich person who had something big to lose. I do know that there were a few infamously bad union bosses from a few decades ago but I haven't heard anything that would make people think that union bosses are bad now. I also know that there are some rich people who are now against unions for political reasons but I don't know why most people would even care about that now.

I retired from Boeing. It used to be an engineering company that built planes and it was run by engineers. Then McDonnell Douglass bought Boeing and started working to weaken the unions. The current Boeing is run by accountants and lawyers. That is the problem. This never would have happened if Alan Mulally had been made CEO. His mantra was "tell me the problem, don't hide it. I can't help fix it if I don't know about it."

I’ve worked in a global corporation. I know what it’s like from the inside to be in those kinds of meetings. You learn early to be a yes person. Once you know the hierarchy, and how people get promoted, it tells you how you need to speak. That doesn’t mean you can’t suggest something, but it means you have to suggest things in a way that isn’t against the norms. It’s very hard to move your ideas forward in that culture.
