I've heard Jason Isaacs.. HELLO TO JASON ISAACS! ..on the show many times over the last couple of years, but never actually knew which character he played. Was listening to this on the podcast earlier and his character name being said worked out he was Draco's dad, but looking at the side I was like .. OH the guy with the crazy hair! I would have had no change to recognise him lol Unless from his voice =P I can't believe I wrote all that!
Also I think the producers, directors at the beginning of the franchise missed a trick by cutting out Peeves from the films. He made the atmosphere of Hogwarts.
Personally, and sorry Simon, but I'd love to see/hear a show with just Jason and Mark reviewing films. Would be an interesting dynamic taking into account their respective backgrounds.
The books get darker yes but I don't think HP7 is actually that dark & i'm not sure the sense of foreboding really comes through like it does in the books. I know plenty of people who were bored by HP7 as they didn't get the travelling and looking for horcruxes or not quite that they didn't get it but because of the you know endless travelling, it felt boring, felt drawn out. It didn't quite have the sense of foreboding or the sense of darkness in the world.
Always love when you guys have Jason on....
Jason's wince when Voldemort snaps the wand is the best moment in the whole film
I love that he loves Harry Potter so much
"…And then I think he's gonna kill me, and he can't even be arsed! *laughs and mutters* Can I say that? I have already. He can't be bothered!"
Hello to Jason Isaacs.
Jason Isaacs is class personified, what a wonderful guy.

So what Jason Isaacs is really saying... that the upcoming Harry Potter won't be as lame and totally overrated as the other films have been.
Hello to Jason Isaacs.
