Thank you Justin for such awesome videos about Walt's childhood. I must admit I have watched the Marceline videos over and over, I love them! Also, please tell Tyler that his song/dance (for your pleasure) & horse (wife) ramblings were EPIC! Thanks for all the laughs guys! :-D
Thank you SO much for doing this video Justin!!! We didn't know about it!!! My daughter and I just took a road trip to Missouri and so we traveled over to Marceline to see it and Walt's inspiration for Main Street USA... and the MUSEUM!!!! WOW!!! ... and we even etched our names on the walls of Walt's re-creation of his BARN right close to yours!!!!!! Thanks again!!! Love your videos!!!! :-D
I love this episode from RandomLand, it's a gorgeous video, I never knew some of this Disney History, and I'm a Disney History expert! I got some more history to learn about my hero, Walt Disney. Thanks for posting this!
What would we do without you, Justin? The world's definitely a better place from all the "unknown" Disney knowledge and trivia you've shared with it. You renew our childhood Disney memories and make them come alive again. Thank you, thank you!
Justin you do such a great job with your videos! They're so fun to watch. Thanks for taking us along on your trip. It made me want to go check it out for myself. Loved the dreaming tree story. Made me want an apple!
Great video ! I have been following Disney for over 50 yrs and really like all your great informative videos about him! I really enjoy all your videos and find them very refreshing and entertaining. Thanks for allowing us to be a part of your adventures.
Great video Justin. I'm loving these randomlands about Walt. It's so interesting to see how his early life inspired so much of what he did in later life. I can certainly see why Marceline was so special to him it looks so idillic.
It was amazing, very peaceful, but it was SUPER hot! The Barn was like a sauna. Haha. I guess you acclimate if you live there. I'd love to see it at Christmas time
Wow, it is beautiful and peaceful out there. The perfect place to let your imagination run free. It's fun to think of Walt as a kid, playing and dreaming there. Thanks for another fun and fascinating episode!
Ahhh all I can ever think is that Walt Disney would be so proud of how dedicated and knowledgeable you are! This video is awesome. Because of you, I've taken a whole new appreciation for Disneyland, and I'm always droppin all the knowledge that I learn from your videos on everyone I know. Thank you for all you do! Hopefully we'll be in Disneyland at the same time in August so I can thank you in person :)
I really loved this episode of Randomland, the videos just keep getting better and better! You do an amazing job of making videos that are informative and respectful with just the right amount of humor and craziness! Thank you so much for everything you do, you will never not be my favorite UA-camr
Although you don't post video's nearly as often as I would like, the ones you post are so amazing, and I thank you for everything you do and share with us. Your walking the dream in your own footsteps. Good for you sweetie.
i just want to say i love your disney and knotts vida :)! Its just something about you that brings a smile to my face every time i watch you. even though you have only like 2 knotts vida i enjoy them! One day i hope to run into you at knotts or disneyland!
Justin, I look forward to your videos! I check almost everyday to see if there is a new one. I introduced your videos to my daughters, and they all love them too! This video is so sweet. I love your passion for Walt the man as well as Walt the legend. Thank you! I learn so much more on your videos than anyone else's. Tell Tyler and Adam hi for me! Thank you!!!!!!
I just got back from 2 weeks at Disneyland (Just uploaded a daily vlog from one of my days in the park too) and I was really hoping I'd bump into you haha! One day ;D
Wow really awewome video Justin as always I love the history behind Walt Disney he was such a interesting man =) im very excited to go to Disneyland with my bf this Saturday and ill be making a video so im very excited for that =)
I just read about the Dreaming Tree and the barn in a book called Hidden Mickey written by Nancy Temple Rodrigue and David W. Smith. It's about a diary that Walt Disney left behind that these two best friends found inside of Walt's apartment above the fire station in Disneyland, that sends the two of them on a scavenger hunt to all of these important places in Walt's life to amerce them in his legacy. Now I'm not finished reading it yet, so there may be even more to the story than that, but it's amazing to see this video after reading about these characters visiting the Dreaming Tree looking for the next clue in their Disney scavenger hunt.
Wow so cool!! I actually live 20 minutes away from Walt's birth home here in Chicago I sometimes drive there just because I'm a huge fan of him it's like a little piece of him here lol my next stop is Missouri :)
Justin you are doing such a great job with educating us all about Walt. More importantly what you do for his legacy through your videos is AMAZING! I think it would be so cool if you could have interviewed Walt if he was still alive. I'm sure it would of been another great video. BTW awesome video again!
have you visited the Disney Family Museum in San Francisco yet? boy, oh boy. i just went for the Mary Blair exhibit and this is probably my favorite museum ever. reaaaally state of the art. that's where i saw a little exhibit about Walt talking about the Doc's horse and his deal with a really neat motion piece (and also the apples)!
You're editing is really good with this one. A little too much "goofy" at the very end, but I am no one to judge. What really helps and makes your videos interesting is that you tell and show more history about the location. Using the past as a foundation and then showing us the present and current condition of the place is great. Your location knowledge is what the difference is for your videos and your friend's ATW's vids. Personally I tend to read the full description of the video as it's playing seeing if there is any more detail or history included there. With your humor being just enough you usually have a great final product. Keep up the good work and don't forget to tell people vocally to subscribe at the end. (Not everyone will read it on the screen and people need to be reminded)
Great video! Huell Howser couldn't have done better. Thanks for the info. Will have to check this out the next time I visit the mid west. Have always been a fan of his even after reading a 'tell all' biography "Dark Prince" (he drank and smoked a lot!), but that book made him very human.
Great video, Justin! I just absolutely love how you bring any history lesson to life. I can really tell that you have a passion for this and your passion brings a smile to many peoples faces; like me! I never get tired of watching your videos :D Very captivating. Keep it up and hopefully I'll see you around the park!
An interesting video that really does give you a feel of Walt's childhood. I would like to know more about how Walt being a member of the DeMolays helped influence him as a boy. Something clicked inside him and made him realize he could do anything.
If people would have a hero like Walt Disney or Justin, maybe the gang shootings in Portland would decrease. My grandfather was in So Dear to my heart, he got the blue ribbon at the fair.
Am I the only one that thinks there should be a Disney Park near Kansas City or Marceline? I feel like Walt would be happy that there was a park so near to his home. Also I wouldn't have to fly or drive for 14 hours to get to the nearest one. 😹
Who thumb downs this really? dude... keep up the good work i love your stuff... huge Disney fan wish i could be on one of your park adventures.. used to work there and family too
You and Adam are my new favorites. If your ever in SanDiego stop by and I will cook you a chefs dinner. Gluten free right? The kids and I love your vids.
Will there be any chance of you telling the story behind the Carousel of Progress? It's now the Innovations, but I have ridden on the one in Florida and I really do like the whole feel of it. I think it also used to be 'America Sings' with animals singing songs of old america but it stopped around the 80's. The experience of 'America Sings' is more than likely on UA-cam for you to check out and there's one guy that's currently working on an animated adaption of the ride; Here's a link: vimeo.com/45136294 Keep up the good work man, I really do enjoy your material!!
dude, these Disney hometown vids are rocking my world,GREAT job!!
Thanks Bryan!!!
It was my pleeeeeaaaaaaaaasuuuuahhhhhhhhhhh
Hahahahahahaha Thanks Tyler, you sir just made my day! :-)
TylerRockJournalist Yeah, you sorta stole the show there at the end. Was that memorized or extemporaneous?
Haha, thanks! It was extemporaneous. We always give ourselves a vague direction to go in and then just go for it.
Great video Justin, as always! Thanks for sharing.

It was amazing, very peaceful, but it was SUPER hot! The Barn was like a sauna. Haha. I guess you acclimate if you live there. I'd love to see it at Christmas time
I'm grateful to have the honor today to say Happy Birthday Disneyland!!! You look great for 59 too! Thank you Walt. Thank you Justin :)
Keep posting I love this
This was wonderful, thank you! I recently did a painting of young Walt under his Dreaming Tree, so it's nice to see in HQ video. :)
Wow, it is beautiful and peaceful out there. The perfect place to let your imagination run free. It's fun to think of Walt as a kid, playing and dreaming there. Thanks for another fun and fascinating episode!
Thank YOU Jessica! It was GORGEOUS out there, but very very HOT!

The way you did the ending credits was really nice. Thanks for the amazing video!
Thank YOU so much for watching it! :D

Although you don't post video's nearly as often as I would like, the ones you post are so amazing, and I thank you for everything you do and share with us. Your walking the dream in your own footsteps. Good for you sweetie.

What a wonderful video! You should write a book about the history of Disney.
Justin, I look forward to your videos! I check almost everyday to see if there is a new one. I introduced your videos to my daughters, and they all love them too! This video is so sweet. I love walt Disney , YOU FOUND THE HOUSE OF WALT DISNEY!!!!!
That was a great video! Lots of info I did not know, and I've read several books on Walt. The best..."Walt Disney, Hollywood's Dark Prince".

Just realised Walt is 100 years older than me!
I just read about the Dreaming Tree and the barn in a book called Hidden Mickey written by Nancy Temple Rodrigue and David W. Smith. "No, that was you, ruining the side of the house with tar."
Did Walt's parents actually say that, that is hilarious! :)
I love your videos and you 😛
:">
Wow so cool!! I actually live 20 minutes away from Walt's birth home here in Chicago I sometimes drive there just because I'm a huge fan of him it's like a little piece of him here lol my next stop is Missouri :)
That is a gorgeous property. Thanks for taking us there :)
¡ :D !

I think it would be so cool if you could have interviewed Walt if he was still alive. I'm sure it would of been another great video. BTW awesome video again!
I wish! That would have been amazing! I would have loved to hang out with 1920s Walt expecially!
Thanks for the education and giving a trip to disney even more meaning, awesome videos man!!
Thank you! :)))
I always love watching your videos. You're so knowledgable, and not to mention an adorable major cutie pie :)
have you visited the Disney Family Museum in San Francisco yet? boy, oh boy. i just went for the Mary Blair exhibit and this is probably my favorite museum ever. reaaaally state of the art. that's where i saw a little exhibit about Walt talking about the Doc's horse and his deal with a really neat motion piece (and also the apples)!

When you were talking about the apple orchards , I was looking for you to reference Johnny Appleseed but got Snow White instead.
Great video! Huell Howser couldn't have done better. Thanks for the info. Will have to check this out the next time I visit the mid west. Have always been a fan of his even after reading a 'tell all' biography "Dark Prince" (he drank and smoked a lot!), but that book made him very human.

If people would have a hero like Walt Disney or Justin, maybe the gang shootings in Portland would decrease. My grandfather was in So Dear to my heart, he got the blue ribbon at the fair.
That's AWESOME!
I know, right? He played Mr. Marshall.
Have you been to the barn in L.A. in Travel Town (near the L.A. Zoo)?
My name's in that barn
Am I the only one that thinks there should be a Disney Park near Kansas City or Marceline? I feel like Walt would be happy that there was a park so near to his home.

Any idea where we can see the framed picture of Rupert?
Rupert walks to bar, and the bartender says...
"Why the long face?" Hahahahaha
LiveFastDiePoor I probably should edit my comment
I was there just a few weeks ago! I wonder if you saw my epic signature.
I'm not sure, where was it? :D I was overwhelmed with how many there actually were! Amazing!
I know, I had a hard time finding a spot just to write one. It was on one of the horizontal ceiling beams near the corner to the left of the windows.
LiveFastDiePoor I wrote my name and stated "There is imagination left in the world, and I will unleash it."
Hey! My name is Justin too!
Good! Justins of the world Unite! Except Biebs - he has his own thing going on
Your kinda cute:-)
You found Adam The Woo's Signature!
:O
Haha yes I did, but I had to text him to remember where it was!
You and Adam are my new favorites. If your ever in SanDiego stop by and I will cook you a chefs dinner. Gluten free right? The kids and I love your vids.
Also, did you make any videos about Disney history in Kansas City?
narrating. Thanks for the education.
ou sure know a lot about disney
Knowledge is power XDXD DYING

Can you make a Disney Church so I can attend and we can worship together!?!?!
You're cute! Love the videos!
LiveFastDiePoor you should meet up with Fresh Baked Disney and make a disneyland video!!!!
hmmmm
Is that Mark Twain or Joe Stalin on your right forearm? It could mean the difference between a new subscriber or not.
Mark Twain. He's talked about it in other videos
