You are probably one of the best vlogger who has the energy with the combination of talk, guts and explanation with light moments. This trip is where you have shined.
Justin you are important. You bring lots of fun, joy, and happiness to all of your "mob." Don't go changing....we love you just the way you are!!! God bless and sleep well.
I grew up in Marceline. It's very interesting to see it from the perspective of someone who didn't, since honestly I sometimes forget just how big of a deal the whole thing really is.
Rewatching this series. I’m so glad I stumbled upon your channels. It always helps me on a bad day to see your adventures. Thank you for bringing us along from one weirdo to another.
I literally can't even think of what to comment on because so much of this video affected me. Probably the best part for me is the train at the end, but the whole thing with the barn and Disney's house and talking about inspiration gave me so much, well, inspiration, to keep going on what I've been doing that I'm just completely blown away right now. I'm adding Marceline to my list of places to visit on my next cross-country road trip! Thanks, Justin :)
What a great visit! I really like your positive thoughts that you share. It's so true, what you think about is what you bring about! Thanks for sharing your journey! 😊😊😊
Marcelines streets did used to be brick. In fact if you turn right at the end of main street usa on to Gracia St you will see an actual block or two of original brick road that has been preserved
It's so interesting to see your perspective on Marceline and Chilicothe and all the little towns in the Midwest because I grew up in a town just like Marceline and not too far from it and small towns where everybody knows everyone and life is simple is what I'm used too and Marceline was not a shock either it was just like my town, a railroad stop, and built around the railroad. Your videos make me so happy keep them up and your always welcome in Missouri or really anywhere in the Midwest!
Anyone who watches Justin regularly and enjoys these vlogs should really think about becoming a Patreon donator if you're not already! Throw a few dollars his way each month, he certainly does his duty!
The train at the end reminds me of a couple of towns in Mississippi, where I lived. When the train came through everything stopped because it cut the town in half. Loving it!
justin ..I grew up hearing my grandma and great grandfather stories about the living on a farm family life with values just like Walt did and I truly think that that time in history was magic and really the made a better world ... and is sad that kids today can't appreciate that stuff my daughter is bully because she loves Disney magic!! awesome video as always you and Adam the whoo make my days happier !!
I was born and raised in Missouri and If memory serves me correctly the "hole" by the barn is a Crawdad hole. Love this series Justin, bringing back home to me when I myself cannot be there. Safe travels love you.
Another amazing vlog! Thank you so much for taking us to Disney's home and barn.... Everything. It's amazing! I hope to do this kind of trip one day myself! Right now I have three little kids so not possible at the moment, but one day! Thank you for all the inspiration, I can really relate to a lot of things you do and talk about. Thank you.
Wow, what a touching video. Thanks for taking us on this trip through America! Hopefully someday I can do it as well. Your videos brighten my day! Have fun on the rest of your trip and drive safely!
Bless you for posting this wonderful video! 😇 It was so good. I'm anxious to visit MO even more, now, since my Granny was also from that neck of the woods. 😉 I'll go back and watch your earlier Marceline features, but this one is so, so cool. And totally inspirational! I'd be teary reading all the 'thank you's from folks, too. And you're so right: Walt truly did change the world. ❤️ Again, thank you SO much for these wonderful videos! I am now a total addict of your stuff! 😆Happy and safe journey onward! 🚗🇺🇸
the "Mussy Mississippi" is the best Mississippi. Great story telling. I have a feeling that small town mid-america values are the same all over the world, no matter the small town you are in, there you are.
Hey Justin, when trying to cut up a loaf of bread, it's best to wait and let the loaf cool for about the same amount of time it took to bake. When it first comes out of the oven the exterior will be hard as rock, but as it cools, the internal steam incorporates back into the loaf causing it to soften up and improve the texture. Then it's easy to cut. Took me a while to figure that one out.
I love your adventures, you are kind of like me , I love visiting small towns, I live in scottcity Kansas, I only live hour and a half from Ellis Kansas the boy hood home of walter chrysler, they still have his home that you can take a tour. Keep up the great work, I enjoy watching every video.
My goodness that train! Super long. So much longer than then ones in Florida where I grew up in. Memories of me getting pennies squashed on railroad tracks yes dangerous but when you're young you don't think. Ty's!
It's cool to see you back in Marceline. It's too bad more people don't go see places like Marceline the way the do with Route 66. What's cool though is Cars Land is like a Modern Main Street USA, taking us back in time the same amount Main Street USA did in the 50s. I love Disney and it's great to see you at the parks, but it's just as great to see you visit real places, if they have a link to Disney or not. As great as Disney is, it's just one of many great things about this country and its too bad more people don't appreciate everything equally like you do.
we are the same Justin i love Disney and Star Wars and Mark Twain i have problems too and thanks for having Disney in my life and our life thanks so much
Earlier in the video when you visited Kansas St. the inspiration for Main Street USA. You mentioned it no longer looks similar to Main Street. I noticed that the Main Street in Hannibal looks very familiar to Main Street USA. Thank you for the quality content in this video.
There must be a lot of advertising signs hidden between the walls of historic buildings. Decades ago in Downtown Redlands, an old building was torn down, revealing an advertising sign for Mermaid Queen Soap. It's still there, now as decoration for a small park.
Did that train ever end? lol. Just imagine if you was in a hurry for an appointment or something and you had to wait for that train to go by, how frustrating would that be
I like this Disney related material. Thanks Justin. We have a similar Main St. in Deland, Fl. Maybe top piece of bldg. may be an awning, although its not cloth?
FABULOUS JOB, Justin! Extremely informative and entertaining. Your wealth of Disney information often rivals that of Dave Smith, the curator of the Disney museum at the Buena Vista studios. You are an inspiration; please don't forget that. Thanks.
Justin have you seen the movie Walt: Before Mickey on Netflix? It is a good movie. It documents Walt's life living in Missouri, and him starting Laugh o Grams studios. And also stating the Disney company in California. It is an independent movie so it is a little low budget, but with a couple of famous movie stars such as Thomas Ian Nicholas (American Pie) as Walt Disney and Jon Heder (napoleon Dynamite ) as Roy Disney. I think you would like it being such a fan of the man Walt Disney.
Marceline...not sure if I spelled that right. lol But can see some key structures that did inspire Walt for DL, like the lil clock I noticed, which you see at the park, as well. Looks like an awesome place too.
Justin another great suntime vlog, I love the information of bread never knew the history and now I know lol! 😂 a great adventure and journey yay 😃! I wonder where u will go next? hmmmm? ty ty again!😉
I totally get why Walt would want to copy small town USA. I grew up in the Midwest and lived in small towns you could walk from one side to the other. in my teens my parents moved us to the east coast burbs and it was almost like culture shock. Now in my 30s, I'm looking to move back to a small town, slow down, and be quiet. I totally miss that about the Midwest.
I hope you'll have a meet up of sort when you get to Georgia, love to meet you man! BTW, you need to check out Stone mountain when you get the chance, you'll LOVE it
I see Justin forgot to turn his camera off at the end and decided to leave the train footage. Jk. Although I'm not a big Disney fan like Justin, these Disney related videos are always great to watch. Good stuff, dude.
Was a little intimidated by the runtime, but glad I watched the whole thing. Love all the facts and background information. As a fellow Disney/film fanatic, your passion and dedication just jumps off the screen. I also have ADD, so I admire people who acknowledge and embrace it; using it as a vessel to channel their creativity. I look forward to the next video. If I may ask, what camera and lenses do you use? I feel like you've mentioned it before, but for the life of me I can't remember which vid.
Slightly off topic, but what if on once upon a time the tv show, they end up putting a castle at the end of their Main Street, thus making it like the Main Street at Disneyland. That would be cool.
Are you sure the inventor of the bread slicer wasn't Freddy Krueger? I see the bread factory is on Elm Street and Fred is known to hoard sharp things ;)
I'm so honoured to share a kinship with Walt - when I was 6, my cousin lived next door to a vicarage, which is like a British church house, and one day I painted a biiiig black cross on their garage door with a can of creosote that was sitting around. I guess I thought maybe it would help remind him of his faith. The vicar and his wife didn't thank me either. Now he lives with a prostitute on a desert island - true story. I guess I shoulda drawn a bigger cross.......

Every kindergarten in the world uses that phrase....lol
+adamthewoo ur a good guy u go all around do these abanded places i remember alot of those places too and i love love Back to te Future hello Mcfly
lol closed on Monday. Just like the advice you gave, you should have read about the town before you arrived.

+Goth Chica Mole holes!
I love your videos so much and they make my day. You are so inspirational and I hope you never stop vlogging. Walt Disney would be very proud of you
Agree with the positive talk! I"m trying to teach my kids that.
Young Walt, definitely tagged that town! Ah, yes, art. Can you imagine the trains and wagons, sprayed with "heck" on them?
Another amazing vlog! Thank you so much for taking us to Disney's home and barn.... Everything. It's amazing! I hope to do this kind of trip one day myself! Ringo Starr was born and sliced bread was first sold on my birthday (in different years!). That's pretty awesome.
Excellent re-visit/ update. Thanks Justin
All your vlog's on route 66 are so funny. They are your best yet. thank you.
Educational, inspirational and hysterical. That's why your videos are awesome. New subscriber!
thank you for taking us to see such an awesome place!
Another awesome video. Thanks for signing the wall for all of us! Safe travels!!
One of the best youtubers here! I loved Huell Houser in Californias Gold and Justin fills the void left by Huells passing...
The barn is amazing! What a legacy Walt left
That was a long train. I was hoping to see the end, but always a surprise how your videos transition. Great video with a great outlook on life.

I live in a really small town too, we have a bunch of murals that have to do with the history. I'm glad you're having a good time!

Wonderful video! I hope you have an absolutely amazing time and lots of smiles on your trip:).
Been to Hannibal MO, awesome stuff there. Love the little town. If the caves are still near there, you should check them out.
I live pretty close to Chillicothe and I'm trying to convince some of my friends to take a trip there this summer. This is great!
Marceline too :)
Your videos always bring a smile to my face!
You're welcome. Thank YOU for taking us there...

Thanks for going back and filming
They should take the old tree, build a bench, and place it where the old tree is resting now as a recognition for the spot
thats really smart :)
Justin, you are awesome. Keep doing what you do baby!
FABULOUS JOB, Justin! Extremely informative and entertaining. Your wealth of Disney information often rivals that of Dave Smith, the curator of the Disney museum at the Buena Vista studios. You are an inspiration; please don't forget that. Thanks.

Penny
Going there next weekend!
Then Hannibal, then if we have time, Springfield IL.

Such great info 😀
