Tony Khan COULD have saved WCW the same way Bischoff could, except it would still be like ROH; not on television
Well now to eagerly anticipate Eric's response lol
Tony would've made Alex Wright his Pockets and challenge Hogan for the WCW title. Heck, I'm sure the nWo in 1996 would've been more like nWo job group with Vincent being the Jon Moxley leader.
@mattypaul87: Alex Wright was the uncredited primary driver in the Feud that allowed the World to see what Arn Anderson could do against Ric Flair. Flair was Booked by WCW to have real problems putting away Wright which of course annoyed "Double A." This preceded a four Bout Feud between Flair and Anderson growing in cruelty between the two men leading up to Halloween Havoc that year. Unsurprisingly Flair enlisted Sting as his Partner against AA and Brian Pillman that night. As expected three of the men not named Sting pulled a classic Horsemen ruse against him and soon reformed the fearsome foursome!😂🤦♂️🎤🐴👔👞👞🇧🇪🦂🤼♂️B.W.
@mattypaul87: HUGE POP!!😂😂😂😂😂
Naw, wrong take there, mate. Alex Wright gets lauded by EVERYONE who ever worked with him.
Don't hate on my boy Alex Wright lol
Alex Wright deserves better than to be mentioned in the same sentence with Pockets
Tony Khan would have went ALL IN on Tiger Jeet Singh and made him WCW World Heavyweight Champion.
Tiger never did any flips, though, and was built like an adult 😄
Yuji Nagata vs Loki vs La Parka main eventing starcade 2003 for the IWGP Heavyweight Title in a cage. Meanwhile Scott Norton jobs out to El Dandy in the opener.
Kiwi would be 3 time world champion
Steiner would make Tony piss himself. He would have had Hall, Nash and Hogan doing whatever they wanted and wouldn't put anyone over. Buff and Lugar would openly pout on live tv
If Tony feared for his life after Punk shouted at him...
Brian Last plays the keyboard like Jim sings. 😂
Dave is like Jacob Fatu & Tony Khan is Solo. “You’re the greatest booker MY TRIBAL CHIEF” 🙏🏾
The main takeaway from this is the exact conclusion Eric Bischoff reached: Dave Meltzer is doing AEW and Tony Khan no favours with his behaviour.
Hogan on Tony running WCW:
That doesn't work for me brother.
Also Hogan: I knew Tony back in 2000. I think he could have ran WCW.
Eric Bischof used the cruiserweight division to beat WWE for 83 weeks. TK has used the cruiserweight division to drive away about half his audience. No way things would have been different. Hulk would be jobbing to Horris or something more ridiculous.
@QAZ-OMEN Tony running WCW is a storyline WCW would have run with in late 2000.
You're dead wrong about Hogan, he will never job to anybody willingly, especially with Tony in charge, cause he won't be able to handle Hogan.
Can you imagine Hogan and Nash doing business deals with Tony Clown.😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
@@andisuge yes we would of had the hand slap of doom not finger point of doom
@@gi79304 Hogan would run his own promotion and probably draw bigger numbers than AEW.
Hogan with Billions😂😂😂😂😂
@ lmao fr
@andisuge Tony running WCW is the start of every funny story
He is quite a dynamic dude
Hello fellow kids!
Tony Khan would have pushed Disco Inferno as the world champion and had him feud with the KISS Demon.
If Tony had Austin and the Rock in WCW; they would be going 50/50 with Super Calo or Dean Malenko
And lash leorux (sp)
Remember the khans own a soccer team too.
Only reason nobody’s talking about them is because they’ve been good enough to be middle of the table(standings) in the premier league for the past few years.
It’s impressive if you understand the English soccer ladder but also meh
it only got good because tony effed off to wrestling. are they relegated to the bottom again this year?
@ as of the day I type this they are currently middle of the table as always.
The last Nitro did a 3.0 rating. The six weeks before that did a 2.1 in the ratings. AEW has dropped to around 650k viewers and just ran a program that couldn’t get more than 200k to watch it. Dynamite just did a 0.17. You see Dave, the numbers don’t lie. They did still finish in 4th place, shows how awful cable is now.
How would he ignore Meng for months after not using him?
Throwing money at it didnt work for ted turner so what the hell is TK gonna do
The throwing money did work, got Hogan, Hall and Nash, upped the production edge etc..the money throwing worked it was the dumb things like giving megalomaniacs total creative control and then building the main event around them for that not to work for them brother...it was the management
It worked till Ted Turner sold his company
Give his inheritance to Hogan, Brett Hart, Hall and Nash and a couple more on the roster as Shad looks like the proud papa he his.
@@TheEvolver311all tony does is throw money and he has no authority at all. He totally undermined any authority he had the moment he said he was scared for his life
Get daddy to purchase AOL Time Warner and fired all those that opposed to have wrestling on their network. 😂
Could you imagine all those legends taking advantage of Tony?
What I wouldn’t give to see Tony Khan tell late 90’s Scott Steiner anything, at all, ever.
WCW with Tony would never have gone out of business because it would never been in business to begin with.
Could you imagine Cocaine Tony trying to deal with Scotty Steiner 🤣 The fearing for his life would have been LEGIT
Started daydreaming half way through the bucks starting shit with Scott Steiner or Kevin Nash like they did Punk and in there prime
it was fantastic
So, a wrestling company who suffered but bouts of bad talent evaluation and bad booking would be saved by a guy whose promotion suffers from bad talent evaluation and bad booking. Go figure.
😂 we need Russo to clean up this mess
8 track tapes would still be around if Tony Khan was marketing them
perry saturn vs beniot would have been the starrcade main event than
Tony would've been in fear of his life if there was a confrontation with Norman Smiley.
booker t would have him hiding in a closet
@@EvilLeBron he probably been a fan in the big wiggle tho
You know, initially, I was excited for AEW. But then I watched an episode where there was fall after fall after fall on the edge of the ring (the hardest part). It lost me after that. I came back when Punk arrived, but, yeah ... We need an Uncka Dave shirt, Corny!
Remember how Raven had Dixie Carter around his finger? Imagine that with Hogan, Young Eddie, and others.. Randy Savage would've walked out within a month after being asked to job to glacier
Elaborate on Raven - that sounds interesting
@@JaculaDudekRaven was getting pushed hard in early TNA and that’s because he would sweet talk Dixie until Jeff gained full control and buried raven until he left around 2011/12. I remember konnan talking about this in one of his shoot interviews.
What if [1] Tony & Shahid Khan eventually sold 50% of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) to New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), which NJPW's United States subsidiary, New Japan of America (NJoA: Strong) was then merged into AEW, and [2] Tony Khan sold 50% of Ring of Honor (ROH) to Jeff Jarrett, and 25% of ROH to Dustin Rhodes, which Jeff Jarrett relaunched Global Force Wrestling and merged it in Ring of Honor, renaming it Global Ring of Honor (GROH), with Dustin Rhodes' Rhodes Wrestling Association (RWA) also being merged in GROH?
NJPW being majority owners of AEW, Jeff Jarrett being majority owner of ROH, Dustin being a minority owner of ROH, and Tony Khan, still being somewhat attracted to AEW & ROH, being the minority owner of both AEW and the now GROH.
What in AEW says TK knows what he's doing?
WcW didn't lose Austin. Austin has told the story himself. He was boo boo facing sitting at home, picking up a 6 figure downside for doing sweet fuck all, pretending to be injured. Bischoffs job at that point was to cut costs and stop them losing money. Austin didnt wanna come to work , Bischoff fired him. End of story.
Why can't Dave use Grammarly? I use it a lot for work.
Use your brains instead.
How does anyone think Dave isn’t a paid spokesman for AEW. If Tony took a crap then Dave would be on social media ranting about how it tastes like the greatest chocolate in history. He couldn’t be any more obvious about it.
I’d like to see Tony Kahn try to control Scott Steiner! If he thought his life was in danger when Punk had jungle jobber in a headlock, he’d be looking for a bomb shelter if he had to deal with Savage, Road Warrior Hawk, or Scott Steiner! 😂
Throw in Rick Steiner Meng Tank Abbott and Goldberg for fun
@@nathanmclain122omg yes
"Tony Khan could have run WCW better."
Isn't that what he's doing right now...?
Bro aint slobbin the knob. He's sous vide'ing it at this point
He's guzzling
You know its bad when Jim compliments Eric Bischoff
Holy shit ive just realised who Unky Dave reminds me of! Gerald Brisco when he was Mr McMahons stooge. "Theres no one better than Mr Khan" lol
Brisco at least used to have prestige before he sold his soul (and it's storyline). Dave never have it and doing it out of his own goodwill.
@rizkyanandita8227 yeah that's why I pointed out the stooge character lol
I sincerely believe Tony Khan books by doing the Creator wrestler GM mode in Smackdown vs Raw 2008 with all the created wrestlers being the ones he signed on his roster
I used to be a wrestling observer subscriber. But I just got tired of all this mark commentary and gargling of Tony Khan's nuts.
Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall weren’t marks. They would have cared less about match ratings.
Shilling from 12:25
Tony would have been wasting money trying to sign JVD as Timecop
Get this! I was blocked by Dave (and I only followed out of curiosity) because Dave was trying to present Tony as a football expert. I explained football to Dave and was hilariously booted for it.
I also twice asked Dave if I was talking to him or Tony's burner. I've been crying ever since Uncle Dave turned his back on this long-ago subsciber.
What a joke he's been for a long time.
Tony lost his two Steve Austins in Cody and CM Punk. Whenever MJF finally stops making the easy money says fuck it the trifecta of anything ever good to come away from AEW will be complete.
TK can’t draw ratings. He wouldn’t do jack shit and AEW is proof ! What a fuckin joke. Funniest shit I’ve ever heard
I'd love to see Tony Klown "handle" The Steiner Brothers..... Wonder if he would fear for his life.
Dave is gonna dumb himself out of position someday.
😂😂😂😂
When he’s forced to ramp the subscriptions to 30 dollars a month
Late great Sid would have put Tony in an asylum
Go back to sleep Dave...ffs
