I don't understand the heat map at 6:11. In genes A - E, it appears that the red fluorescence in the neuron columns shows that these genes were expressed in neurons, while the green fluorescence in the epithelial cell columns indicate these same genes were expressed in the epithelial cells. How do you conclude from this data that these genes were upregulated in epithelial cells but not neuronal cells? Thank you.
