We asked and you delivered. Great video bro!!!! Phenomenal pistol and all the accessories put the cherry on top. One of the best PSA AKP videos ive seen. And ive seen just about all of em 😆
Eric Brown thanks bud! I tried to be as thorough as I could. I'm hoping to make a video of me shooting it when I can get out again after all this virus nonsense is over.
dont know if you guys cares but if you are stoned like me during the covid times you can stream pretty much all of the new movies on Instaflixxer. Have been binge watching with my gf during the lockdown =)
I’m getting the ODG version and a Soviet arms extended charging handle and the linear compensator. I’m also trying to find out if the GF3 AKP is compatible with my banish 30 suppressor. I simply can not wait until this gun comes in.
Just picked one up for 900 came with 12 mags-Ms3 sling-triangle brace side folder-sba3(extra)-flashcan-Romeo5reddot(personally dislike sig sights)but works well. This thing is deff a little shooter.very accurate/smooth shooter. Great vid👍🏼
cfltitan I saw it on armslist up here in MI and had to jump on the deal.Wasn’t sure how good of a deal it was until I start seeing that these were sold out everywhere. Great vid man.keep up great work
Just ordered all my parts for mine. RK-3 pistol grip, RP-1 charging handle, RK-6 hand stop, ATK-1 muzzle brake, and a PK-06 for sight. Ivan tactical is great for any Russian parts you need!
Badd Ass.. Gucci'd out. I have the Same AK-P in FDE. Have the DTK-2 brake, along with both armacon charging handle & safety lever.. ALG trigger just arrived a few days ago.. Awesome Firearm. Thanks for the inspiration Sir. Great Video

Thank you! I’m VERY happy with this set up. It’s pretty basic and simple but works very well. They’re slowly coming back in stock too on a fairly regular basis. The price is up pretty high now though. Maybe they’ll lower it back a bit after the demand dies down a bit. I got mine before all the fakedemic crap on sale for only $699 with free shipping!
Excellent my brother, you have some mighty sweet mods on that psa. Im a AK man and last christmas santa brought me my first American made AK. The psa ak pistol. Its the red wood model. I have some polytech's a mak 90, a few molot vepers. Trust me it was a stretch to get out of the commie block dark side but with a little help from santa i was able to do it. I dont really bubba out my choppers with the exception of my mak 90 but i did put a houge grip on the handle and a nice russian sling on it. I have been eyeballing the extended do hikie on the charging handle from Carolina shooters and i think im going to get that. I only have about 600 rounds through it and with the exception of 1 stove pipe its run flawlessly as an AK should. Thanks again for sharing
Gman 5445 man I'm jealous! You've got some real AK legends in your collection! I've never even seen a polytech in person. Lol Thank you for the compliments too. The extended charging handles are nice. They offer a lot more grip for use with gloves or wet hands and they're also just easier on your fingers than those small, semi sharp edged handles. I have the Tromix handle from Carolina shooters supply on my WASR and love it. I actually like it better than this Armacon in the video. The nice thing about them is that they're not permanent so if you don't like it you can just take it off and it's back to factory.
@@cfltitan Thanks for the reply my friend. After i saw your video i went again the Carolina shooters supply and i was looking at the very one you have. Im thinking about buying two of them. One for the mak 90 and the other one for the psa. My question is are they hard to install. What's the process involved to put it on ?
Gman 5445 they're VERY easy. They're machined inside to the shape of the charging handle. You take the set screw out and clean it with alcohol or brake cleaner to make sure there's no oil residue or anything on, you slip the charging handle cover over the charging handle, put blue loctite on the set screw and tighten it down. Make sure you tighten it VERY tight. They actually say in their instructions to "tighten it until you think the Allen wrench is going to break". I think that and the loctite are the key to them not loosening. I've NEVER had mine loosen even a smidge in several thousand rounds. It takes about a minute tops to install.
Gman 5445 here's a very short and sweet video I found on how to install it. He used red loctite, I used blue and haven't had any problems. Red cannot be removed without applying a lot of heat to it first. It's up to you which one you want to use. Like I said I used blue and haven't had any loosening issues. ua-cam.com/video/W5nbOr2ocQY/v-deo.html
What is the accuracy of this jewel? What is the maximum distance this gun is accurate at? If I get this gun I am copying yours in black but with a folding stock. Thanks for the review brother.
I’ve never really taken it out real far but from what it shoots at around 100 yards I’d feel VERY confident of “combat accuracy” easily out to where this round is good for which is about 250-300 yards. After that you’re just losing so much power from these intermediate cartridges. That’s when you step up to the big boys like my PTR91 (HK G3 clone) in 308. From a supported position (leaning against a barricade or off a bag) I can easily keep all my shots at 100 yards in a group I can cover with my hand so that’s good enough for me. This isn’t a precision weapon. If I can hit an upper torso at 250 yards I’m more than good. And thank you for the compliments. I’m very happy with how it turned out. And mine may, or may not😉 currently have a nice picatinny attached Sig minimalist folding stock.
@cfltitan 100 yds? That is great. The reason I ask is because the pretty much every video/review I read about these toys, they talk about the lack of accuracy. But 100 yds is good for me, 250 is even better. I have been looking for a solution to the expensive 5.56, and this akp seems to be in my top 2 choices. Brother, like I said, great video. You make better videos than the so-called expert youtuber. Thanks a bunch.
Thank you very much. Sadly these things are VERY hard to get right now. They get some in stock and then they're gone within an hour or two tops. Good luck though if you did try and get one. I've heard the key is to NOT wait on the "notify me when in stock" alert because it's very delayed and they're always gone by the time you get the email. They say to get on Palmetto state armory's website between noon and 2 pm and just keep checking because that's when they post up the guns they've made that day.
from my understanding.....co witness and lower 1/3 are two completely different things. Lower 1/3 has the red dot above the irons and each have to be zeroed separately. I pretty much have the exact same setup, and I am debating how I want to go about things. You lined your red dot up with the rearward and front irons at the lower 1/3 position?
Jason Fleming cowitness means you can see your irons through your optic. Absolute cowitness means the dot sits in the top of your front sight post and lines up. Lower 1/3 means that the dot sits above the front post. If you move your head right you can put the dot on top of the post with lower 1/3 though. I prefer lower 1/3 because it leaves more of the dots view open instead of being cluttered up with the iron sights. I believe on an AK lower 1/3 is as good as you can get. I don't think you can mount a red dot low with on an AK to get absolute cowitness
Surprisingly no. It's no flash hider but it's less "flashy" than the krink brake was. I think it's because the ports are so big that they dissipate better?
Hey so I was on armacons website looking at the charging handle, and it says it doesn’t fit PSA ak pistols. Just wondering how yours fit and if you needed any adjustments? Thanks man great video and nice gun
Is your Tromix charging handle on a PSA AK? I have tried two or three different charging handles on my PSA gf3 and none of them fit properly and straight. So I'm still looking for a good option
looks good, I tried to find a armacor safety with no avail. Luckily PSA makes their own. Only thing that has me questioning your set up is the Brake on the "home defense" thats gonna leave those ears ringing for sure! lol Thanks for the vid!
MileHighPEWPEW yeah but until I can swing a dead air wolverine can it'll have to do. Anything without a suppressor is going to brutal on the ears inside a home honestly. Even a pistol will be deafening.
Just curious if you ever pull your gas tube out to clean it? Would seem difficult with your weapon light mounting kit zip tied to the top of your gas tube.
No I don’t. Cleaning the gas tube in an AK is not really needed. I know a lot do it and when I was new into them I did. I haven’t cleaned my other AK’s gas tubes in years and they run perfectly fine.
@@wecx2375 yep, there’s really no need to clean them at all. Each round just blows out any carbon left from the next round. Same with AR gas tubes. I’ve never cleaned one of them with thousands of rounds through them and they work perfect.
Sorry for any late replies guys. For whatever reason I only get a notification every now and then about new comments. Then when I check I see I have several new comments that are a week or more old.
Nice rifle. That brake will quickly let you know its not suitable for a in house, in the dark muzzle device. Outside with your buddy is much different than the concussion bouncing off a wall 8 ft away. You will loose your nightvison as well as sacrifice hearing.
Yes I had to remove a little material to get it to clear the trigger. It wouldn't spin into place so I saw where it was making contact and removed some metal. It doesn't affect the safety engaging at all though.
I just use a set of electronic Walker's razor slims and it's ok for me. I shoot outdoors though with not even a roof covering or anything though. They add a LOT of noise and concussion. I also felt like mine got less "blasty" after the DTK-2 brake oddly enough. I HATED that krink booster.
@@cfltitan I am in Louisiana so a roof in the summer is a must or you'll be baking in the sun. The roof is really putting the blast back at me. It doesn't matter what I shoot. it's loud to me and those around me. The brake on the PSA AK103 doesn't do much but I'll consider it for the AKP Thanks.
mark bennett honestly anything not suppressed is going to be just as loud inside a home. I'd rather have muzzle control than worry about noise or blast in a life and death situation. My goal is to find a dead air wolverine in stock and get one. This isn't really my home gun anyway, it stays in my truck 99% of the time in a bag under the rear seat.
No it’s to increase gas pressure going into the gas tube to force the piston/bolt carrier back. On the short barrels the gas port is right up by the end of the barrel so by the time the rear of the bullet passes the gas port and gas starts to get fed up into it it pops out the end and all the gas follows therefor not going up into the port and feeding the operating system. It’s called dwell time and is why AR’s use different length gas systems (carbine, midlength and rifle. They have the gas block 7”, 9” and 12” respectively from the chamber). AK’s don’t do that and so they have to make muzzle devices that force gas back in a bit. They’re not required for semi auto though because the bolt carrier doesn’t need to run that fast. That krink booster was designed for the krink which is full auto capable.
I bought the 9mm carbine earlier this year but I can't define its role. Now I have the PSA-KS47 pistol. and also a Handgun pistol. Pistol caliber rifle is not as nice as AR pistols. 9mm drop 5ft6 at 100yrd not even a good rabbit gun, personally tried many time . At least my AR pistol can shoot some Coyote and hogs not just sitting at the back of the truck waiting for an incidence might never happened while the other one have some practical use.
How are these AK’s as far as the trigger. I had an AK years ago where the vibration in the trigger would hurt like hell. I had seen a tip to cut the rubber end off some pliers and slip it over the trigger. That worked but I’d rather have a trigger that didn’t do that.
ferretapocalypse these have a good trigger from the factory. No trigger slap which is what you're describing. It just didn't have a really nice crisp break and short reset like I like.
Tyson I it does one they get "worn in". Circle tens don't fit a lot of AK's when they're new. They need to be lightly sanded on the sides or just used a lot in a rifle that they'll fit to wear down the sides some. They're just a VERY tight fitting mag.
Yes sir. I took a cone shaped wheel on a dermal and lightly ground away until it slipped through. Then I touched it up with 1,500 grit sandpaper and you can’t tell it’s even been touched
@@cfltitan I ground the ball end of the u-loop enough to clear the handguard. Worked perfectly. I’d rather mess up a $14 piece than my hanguard or the AK-P. But grinding a flat surface on the ball end of the u-loop did it!
@@DesertTactical lol those hand guards are only like $14 too. They’re just regular magpul hand guards. I would have been worried about the back not locking right being ground away. As long as it holds though it’s good.
@@cfltitan I know. If anything, the handguard would be easy to replace. But it’s on there. I’m tuggin n’ pullin and its staying put. Wish I could show ya.
Does it cycle reliably? PSA specifically mentions thats what the muzzle booster is for. I just bought mine and I'm interested in keeping it slimline. Handstop, small flashlight. High speed low drag, so nothing can get hung up on anything.
Yes it runs fine. It runs perfectly fine with nothing on the muzzle. Those stupid krink boosters are only needed for full auto and even then it's rare that they won't cycle. It's just to make them AK reliable when being run full auto.
That’s how they come from palmetto state armory. Pretty much any kind of short barreled “krink clone” comes with a hinged dust cover and now days Most of them have a rail built in to mount optics
@@RaoulDuk3 no mine has stayed put. I think that was just a thing with the very early ones. Like maybe they forgot loctite at the factory or used a different screw or something.
@@cfltitan Ok. Yeah I was just checking with other owners. I bought mine a few months ago had no problem sighting it in , but after about 100 rounds the screw backed out sometime during shooting. Found it in the snow luckily Probably gonna use Rocksett like some other people have recommend and go from there. Glad it’s working great for you
I’ve heard really good things about the definitive arms fighter brake. Robski from AK operators union really likes them as well as others. I’ve heard good things about JMac customs brakes (although they’re very expensive). I know even the original AK74 style brake is pretty effective too and they’re pretty cheap. The only other AK brake I have personal experience with is the primary weapons systems J tac brake. It works pretty good but they only make them in the 14mm thread pattern. These AKP’s have the larger 24mm threads.
Mine’s still very tight and at close to 2,000 rounds through it. The key is to use loctite and tighten it very tight. Follow the instructions and they’re fine.
Bart it cycles fine. It'll run perfectly fine even with nothing on the muzzle actually. The booster was designed for full auto rifles that need to cycle a lot faster than anybody can do in semi auto. And even then they'll usually run about 85% reliable.
MileHighPEWPEW I just realized I was flexing unintentionally, lol. I don’t have that much money, I meant I can afford one gun from them but they aren’t ever in stock.
Well this one came with the gun from the factory but there's a company called Texas weapons systems that makes as nice railed top cover for AK's. If you have a TON of money and can find one in stock there's always Zentico too. They're top notch Russian stuff.
Hey, bud! Me again! AK-P video is up on my channel! You were right! That ZenitCo DTK-2 brake really flattens out the AK-P. Not any louder than the booster it came with. However mine came in gray… had to spray paint it… check the vid out!
That’s awesome bud!! Yeah that brake is amazing how it works soooo good without being blasty at all. I looked for one for a friend a few weeks ago and noticed they’re all unfinished and just come in raw metal now which is really weird. Not a huge deal though because you can just paint them or coat them in one of the many coatings they have now days like cerakote and whatnot.
@@cfltitan Exactly what I did. Used Krylon and after almost 500 rounds it hasnt peeled off. Or it might be carbon! Haha! Either way, love that brake! What you think about my AK-P video?
I bought them years ago when they were fairly plentiful. I thought I was crazy at the time because I was paying $30 for an AK mag. Lol Looking back now I wish I'd bought a crate of them. The only place I know of to find them now days is from private sellers on places like gunbroker. But they're selling for $100+ a piece now. They're making fake bakelite mags if you just want the look. They don't have any steel reinforcements so I definitely wouldn't use them for anything other than range mags. Here's the link to them. www.classicfirearms.com/ak-47-762x39-30rd-bakelite-style-magazine/
It's been dead reliable for a little over 1,600 rounds now. I know that's not a massive amount of rounds but it literally hasn't had one single failure. And it works with every AK mag I own which includes bakelites, circle 10 waffles, magpul gen 1, steel surplus from several countries, US Palm and a tapco. And I LOVE this thing! It's actually one of my favorites and is my go to if the shit ever hits the fan.
I was thinking the stock booster was there to do a specific job, but seeing you changed it for a brake...i would ve thought it would cost you in reliabilty. Going by your posts, it didn t.
@@hahaha-xj9rw not at all. It runs perfect with the brake and even a bare muzzle. The krink booster is generally only needed to run full auto. That's why they developed it for the true krinks.
Did the armacon safety require you to add the roll pin to the alg trigger to make the safety work? Thanks. Just added an alg trigger to an ak-103, and it did not require the roll pin with the PSA safety.
Yes I used the roll pin as without it there was a little too much play for my liking. I had to file it down quite a bit. But now the safety engages easily (no hanging up on the pin) but the trigger has very little movement when on safe. Pretty much every AK is slightly different so you could have two of the same AK's and one might need it and the other wouldn't. Just part of the AK world.
Robert Wright no not so far. I've only put about 250 rounds through it since the trigger as my shooting time has been pretty much been put on hold with this virus bullshit. Trying to conserve my ammo as much as possible. But from what I have shot with it was a lot of quick double and triple taps and no problem with it at all. It is VERY fast for sure! You can make it like run like you're bump firing it if you do it right.
It's the streamlight TLR1 HL (high lumen) long gun kit. It's 800 lumens and has a really nice throw to it. It also fans out nice too. The long gun kit means it comes with the end cap with a plug in it for the pressure pad, the pressure pad clips to hold the pressure pad on pic rail, double sided tape of you want to stick it on to a vertical grip or something and a few small zip ties.
@@m4rkm4rk13 it comes with them. I used them to tie down the cable. I was REALLY impressed with the clips that snap onto a section of pic rail (I think I used a 7 slot piece and it's the exact length of the pressure pad) and then the pad snaps into those clips. It holds it VERY secure but is quickly removable of you need to take it off. I can pick the gun up by the pressure pad, it's that secure. Plus it's a nice, smooth setup like that.
Thank you very much! I believed the plum sba3 is only available through Palmetto state armory. I've never seen one anywhere else in plum. It even has the PSA crossed cannons logo on the area that would be the butt pad with no SB tactical markings anywhere that I can see.
@@cfltitan I picked up a plum in the AKV line. Now I just need Xtech to restock the plum TD grip. Going to check out Ivan the bear for some of your mods. I ended up with an OD green AKP. Thanks!
Tacticool Gent the AK-V is my next piece. My best friend has one and I love shooting that. And I LOVE my plum TD pistol grip from XTech. They're MUCH better feeling in the hand and grip angle (to me anyway) than the magpul AK grips. I honestly don't like magpuls AR grips either, I prefer the BCM gunfighter. I like other magpul furniture and I LOVE their AR mags. Their AK mags work great too and are dirt cheap but I only use them as range mags because I didn't trust a polymer AK mag without steel locking lugs. All my "go to" AK mags are old steel surplus, US Palm (same as XTech), bakelites or my Toth tool (they're an exact copy of a circle 10 waffle mag but made in the US and only $25 vs $45).
@@cfltitan The BCM Ar grips are a bit small for my hands, I prefer the magpul K2. As for magpul in general, love their pmags and AK mags but not a huge fan of their AK furniture. I prefer streamlined stuff like Kvar or wood. I''ve been looking at SLR handguards for the AK though, look pretty slick. As for AK mags, I agree. I prefer steel or surplus. I was surprised to find out my AKP takes all my mags and runs them with zero issues. I have gen 1 US Palm, Xtech, steel surplus, bulgarian poly and steel, russian bakes, KCI, and recently some croations. Check out the croactians, nice fit and finish, cheap, and have the lrbho.
Tacticool Gent my friend has the SLR rail on two of his AK's. They are VERY nice rails. Very sleek and lightweight. I plan on getting some of the Croatian mags the next time they run them on sale for around $10.
Did the ZenitCo muzzle break come in black? Asking due to the fact that on the website it almost looks like its bead blasted giving it a mate chrome or steel finish look to it.
bigpapigreg yes it's as black finish. Not sure what exactly it is but it seems pretty durable so far. Even after several hundred rounds and a few cleanings with solvents and scrubbing with a stiff nylon brush it still looks new and the lettering is still strong as ever. It matches the color and sheen of most AK's I've ever seen and it's smooth.
bigpapigreg no problem at all. I'm sorry it took a month but fit whatever reason UA-cam isn't sending me notifications again. If I don't manually check all the replies I didn't know I even have any.
I used it on mine. Without it there was just a little too much play in the trigger on safe for my taste. I installed it and filed it down to just a nub. It clears easily but doesn't allow much movement of the trigger when on safe.
@@mr.c.3760 no problem at all. From what I've read and seen every AK is different in whether it needs the roll pin or not. Even from the same manufacturer one might need it and one might not. Also, keep in mind I have an aftermarket safety so that could be it also. I never tried it with the factory Palmetto state armory safety lever. It's a VERY easy thing to do though. You just tap it into the trigger and then file a little bit at a time and just keep testing it until you get it just right. You can get a file for a couple bucks of you don't have one. I wouldn't recommend using any kind of power grinder like a dremel because the roll pin is soft metal and you'd risk removing too much too fast.
Anyone recommend a forend grip for this ? Angled or any? Thanks! Nee to the aks and just got the ak P gf3. Already ordered Dtk2 muzzle break Tlr1 Armacon charging handle Alg enhanced trigger Based those 4 buys off your video! Thanks.
@@tylerfelts8922 I’ve ran Wolf, Tula and Golden Tiger and it runs them all fine. I think it’ll eat anything you put in it so I generally just try and see what I can get the best price on. God I miss those days. 😢 I used to go out at least once a month shooting.
I haven't had the chance to take it out to anything over 100-150 yards but it's more than good enough. Easily rings 3/4 torso steel plates 10 out of 10 from free hand with just a red dot. There's a guy on UA-cam called elfster that has one of these and he hits steel at 300 easily from a bag.
@@johnhenry6797 no. These GF3 (gen 3) PSA AK’s are very well made. They have forged trunnion, bolt and carrier. They’re good to go. One of the best budget AK’s you can get.

There are no gun lines or game territories here that anyone has to abide by if you are armed and have your antennas up you can go anywhere you like as long as you are willing to fight for your life or possibly end someone else's for the sake of you returning home once you get there you will and can go anywhere because of the adopted mindset Atlanta and the east coast is very different I believe we perfected g********** etc in those areas but the West Coast California in particular if you cross over a certain Street wearing certain colors of dye in your clothes etc it's likely that you are to become a victim with no means of defending yourself in a legal standing which makes absolutely no sense you can be accosted and assaulted by a two-time felon with nothing but violent offenses etc and wind up taking his life defending your own or your loved ones and in the eyes of the California justice system you yourself wind up in the same position as the person you defended yourself from which in my opinion only feeds more into the obvious flaws in their constitutional reckoning no criminal the gang banger etc ever in the history of existence has ever abided by the law in any attempt or effort to break the law and commit crimes in which innocent law-abiding citizens are typically the victims in such cases rap sheets turn people into criminals and criminals are desperate individuals and broadly opportunistic creatures meaning they will take chances even if those of high risk in order to succeed or advance in any way shape or form holding law abiding citizens to the same standards as those who show little concern for governing laws only creates an inbalance of power and a major disadvantage for the good people, This is a stoic ideology that I have been attempting to bestow onto my wife recently as a point of clarity and understanding that as a person who is not involved in criminal activity and is just living their life tryin to follow the laws and statutes etc to the best of their ability and still be successful you are what's called a mark or a lick to a criminal someone who is on the offense looking for trouble etc is always ahead of the game you as the defensive law abiding citizen or innocent victim are always behind the ball and playing catch up in a defensive situation because nobody leaves their house looking for trouble you just hope to be able to defend yourself should it present itself to you

Just got one in plum as well. Going to go with many of your suggestions here! Great, comprehensive video.
@@cfltitan alright my friend i appreciate that. I suscribed to your channel. Looking forward to your content. Hope to see more AK stuff. Stay safe.
Is that a cerakote finish?
Sweet setup! I dont own any ak's but after seeing this might get one!
Thanks for the info! Appreciate it and the response.
Great video and beautiful pistol
Thank you!
from my understanding.....co witness and lower 1/3 are two completely different things.
Love it great job really informative thanks
@@chadbowman2058 thank you!
Do the muzzle brake throw a lot of flames?
Surprisingly no. It's no flash hider but it's less "flashy" than the krink brake was. I think it's because the ports are so big that they dissipate better?
I started using a singlenpoint sling since i shot the front off my sling once by mistake having it too close to the muzzle

No my Tromix is on a WASR.
Great video! Just found it randomly but I’m definitely going to add that streamlight on my psak gf3. Thank you!
Rx Doom glad I could help. It's a really great light for sure.
cfltitan just installed the tlr-1 today and I’m really liking it. Thanks again!
No problem. It's a great light, especially for the money.
Is this AKP by PSA forged? I believe the barrel comes from HK but I’m not sure on the AKP’s.
looks good, I tried to find a armacor safety with no avail.
That streamlight seems so nof place on its side.
You sound like
Charlie Sheen...Winning!!!!
Ha ha ha thanks, I guess. 😂
Also if you really wanted to clean it you still could with it mounted. You could just run patches down it. It doesn’t have to be removed to clean it.
@@cfltitan gas tube is self cleaning.
Awesome weapon and review!
Brian Cathey thank you very much!
Nice rifle. That brake will quickly let you know its not suitable for a in house, in the dark muzzle device. Outside with your buddy is much different than the concussion bouncing off a wall 8 ft away.
You will loose your nightvison as well as sacrifice hearing.
How about a video shooting it?
Michele Santora I'm eventually going to get one made. With the climate right now though I'm holding on to my ammo and not shooting it.
Did you have to modify that safety i ordered one but it came in broken in half waiting on my replacement
Yes I had to remove a little material to get it to clear the trigger. It wouldn't spin into place so I saw where it was making contact and removed some metal. It doesn't affect the safety engaging at all though.
Cool video dude. Ive got one in OD green and it rattles my teeth when i shoot it. Muffs on top of plugs and it’s still deafening.
@@HB-kp6rl I know where you're coming from, I lived in central FL for 14 years. Lol
Does the knob screw scratch the handle at all?
Yeah of you install it correctly it’ll kinda bite into the metal but that keeps it from moving or loosening up.
Do you have a link for the muzzle break?
Beautiful
Thank you.
Very nice but I would add a SOUND FORWARDING DEVICE instead of a muzzle brake for home defense
mark bennett honestly anything not suppressed is going to be just as loud inside a home. I'd rather have muzzle control than worry about noise or blast in a life and death situation. My goal is to find a dead air wolverine in stock and get one. This isn't really my home gun anyway, it stays in my truck 99% of the time in a bag under the rear seat.
Very good video
Thank you!
What is that dust cover / iron sight combo??
That’s actually the factory dust cover and sights.
@@cfltitan dang
The expansion chamber is supposed to increase ballistic performance out of the shorter barrel, isn't it?
@@cfltitan Thanks for clearing that up.
@@TacShooter no problem at all.
How hard was it removing the psa muzzle device
It’s like a standard AK muzzle device. Push the little spring loaded pin in and unscrew the device. VERY VERY easy and about ten seconds by hand.
Great vid man, was looking at getting that brake. Looks sick, you should do a range vid
E A I plan on doing one eventually. And that brake is incredible! Completely transformed the gun
Where did you get those little clamps for your light wiring to the pad?
They came in the kit. I think you can buy them separately though. They're for the streamlight TLR1 long gun kit.
mag well does not fit Circle 10 mags. :(
Tyson I it does one they get "worn in". Circle tens don't fit a lot of AK's when they're new. They need to be lightly sanded on the sides or just used a lot in a rifle that they'll fit to wear down the sides some. They're just a VERY tight fitting mag.

Help! Haha. I cant my the ball end of the blue force gear AK adapter to clear the bottom handguard. Did you have this problem?
Yes sir. I took a cone shaped wheel on a dermal and lightly ground away until it slipped through. Then I touched it up with 1,500 grit sandpaper and you can’t tell it’s even been touched
Take the hand guard off so you don’t bump the sling loop and mess it up. It’s super easy to remove and put back for test fitting.

Damn i need that on my psak 103 lol
@@cfltitanhave you ever had any problems with the rail hinge screw backing out on yours?
@@RaoulDuk3 no mine has stayed put. I think that was just a thing with the very early ones. Like maybe they forgot loctite at the factory or used a different screw or something.
@@cfltitan Ok. Yeah I was just checking with other owners. I bought mine a few months ago had no problem sighting it in , but after about 100 rounds the screw backed out sometime during shooting. Found it in the snow luckily

Nice video man!! 🤜🏼🤛🏼
Is the bolt knob supposed to be slightly crooked? I bought one for my help pup n it's not parallel when I slide it out enough to rack the bolt
Yeah mine sits at a slight angle. I think it’s because the factory charging handle is curved
Any thoughts in another optimal brake??
I’ve heard really good things about the definitive arms fighter brake. Robski from AK operators union really likes them as well as others. I’ve heard good things about JMac customs brakes (although they’re very expensive). I know even the original AK74 style brake is pretty effective too and they’re pretty cheap. The only other AK brake I have personal experience with is the primary weapons systems J tac brake. It works pretty good but they only make them in the 14mm thread pattern. These AKP’s have the larger 24mm threads.
Did you have to dremel the inside mount for the mini krink?is it just welded top and bottom.
TheFlea300 no this one just has the standard plunger. You push that in and unscrew the krink. This has the 24mm threads like a 74.
How do those charging handles hold up? I always thought they looked cool but do they stay on?
Mine’s still very tight and at close to 2,000 rounds through it. The key is to use loctite and tighten it very tight. Follow the instructions and they’re fine.
Great job!
Thank you!
Does it cycle well without the booster? I read that they were designed to help it function.
Bart it cycles fine. It'll run perfectly fine even with nothing on the muzzle actually. The booster was designed for full auto rifles that need to cycle a lot faster than anybody can do in semi auto. And even then they'll usually run about 85% reliable.
I ordered the charging handle for shits and giggles just have mail from Russia $13.50 for it and $8 dollar shipping. Everything else was out of stock
Capt. Gus RH that sucks. I know here in the states anything gun related is getting scarce. I'm sure it's having a ripple affect to other areas.

They're making fake bakelite mags if you just want the look. They don't have any steel reinforcements so I definitely wouldn't use them for anything other than range mags. Here's the link to them. www.classicfirearms.com/ak-47-762x39-30rd-bakelite-style-magazine/
@@cfltitan thanks
No problem.
How has reliability been sincere you’ve had it for a while ? And are you still happy with it?
Is that the Armacon index finger or thumb safety?
It's the index finger safety. There's nothing on the left side of the gun safety wise.
VERY fast and easy to manipulate though! If your a right handed shooter of course. Lol
Got ya...thanks !! 😎👍
Any trouble with the ALG out running the bolt when you run it fast?
Robert Wright no not so far. I've only put about 250 rounds through it since the trigger as my shooting time has been pretty much been put on hold with this virus bullshit. Trying to conserve my ammo as much as possible. But from what I have shot with it was a lot of quick double and triple taps and no problem with it at all. It is VERY fast for sure! You can make it like run like you're bump firing it if you do it right.
We have it bad bro!
what kind of Light do you have on it, I've been really debating on the best light with the best throw and brightness
@@cfltitan yeah thats the one ive been thinking of, I usually just use mini zip ties on them
@@m4rkm4rk13 it comes with them.
@@cfltitan yeah thats exactly what im lookin for
Nice set up. I didn't know you could get the SBA3 in plum. Looks good. I'm waiting for them to be back in stock so I can snatch one.
@@cfltitan thanks for the info, it's much appreciated.
bigpapigreg no problem at all. I'm sorry it took a month but fit whatever reason UA-cam isn't sending me notifications again. If I don't manually check all the replies I didn't know I even have any.
with the ALG tigger, did you put in the rollpin or not?
I used it on mine. Without it there was just a little too much play in the trigger on safe for my taste. I installed it and filed it down to just a nub. It clears easily but doesn't allow much movement of the trigger when on safe.
@@cfltitan thanks man I was wondering about that
@@mr.c.3760 no problem at all.
@@cfltitan Did you dry fire to check the safety fitment?
@@mr.c.3760 of course! Lol I always function check my weapons even after just cleaning them. DEFINITELY do it after any modifications.
Nice pistol
Thank you!
Anyone recommend a forend grip for this ? Angled or any? Thanks! Nee to the aks and just got the ak P gf3.
Already ordered
Dtk2 muzzle break
Tlr1
Armacon charging handle
Alg enhanced trigger
Based those 4 buys off your video! Thanks.
I’m not a fan of forend grips so I can’t recommend any, sorry. You’ll be very happy with your other purchases though. I love mine! Thanks for watching
@@cfltitan thanks! Just gave a follow. Thanks for the video!!
Last, i heard red army is the best for these ak ps. What do you run frequently?
Red army standard ammo** apologies, my phone wasnt fast enough!
@@tylerfelts8922 I’ve ran Wolf, Tula and Golden Tiger and it runs them all fine. I think it’ll eat anything you put in it so I generally just try and see what I can get the best price on. I got lucky and bought a bunch of Wolf and Golden Tiger back before the Scamdemic for $200 a case even after shipping. It was $178 a case and $22 shipping from Sgammo. God I miss those days. 😢 I used to go out at least once a month shooting.
@@cfltitan awesome brother! Thanks for the reply , have a good day.
hows accuracy at 100, 200 300 yards?
I haven't had the chance to take it out to anything over 100-150 yards but it's more than good enough. Easily rings 3/4 torso steel plates 10 out of 10 from free hand with just a red dot. There's a guy on UA-cam called elfster that has one of these and he hits steel at 300 easily from a bag.
How is the quality and reliability?
Of the AK? It’s been perfect for going on 2,500 rounds. Very accurate too.
@@cfltitan no unusual ware?
@@johnhenry6797 no. These GF3 (gen 3) PSA AK’s are very well made. They have forged trunnion, bolt and carrier. They’re good to go. One of the best budget AK’s you can get.
🏆ABSOLUTELY STUNNING LOOKING FIREARM🏆
Thank you!
Great looking gun Sir thanks for sharing nice job!
kawasakielrman thank you very much!
Very nice Ak-p! I want to pick one up myself! Where did you get that extended charging handle? Has it stayed on?
Thank you! I got it from Ivan the bear tactical. They’re out of Russia. It’s stayed tight for well over 1,000 rounds now.
@@cfltitan Ah. Gotcha. Thanks for the reply, man!
@@DesertTactical no problem. They’re a good company to deal with and have great prices. It took about five weeks for shipping though. Another great charging handle is the Tromix from Carolina shooters supply. I have that one on another AK and it’s held up great too. And that ones from here in the U.S. I also kinda prefer the Tromix because the knurling is cut deeper so it offers more grip.
@@cfltitan yeah I was looking into that one too. Just need one that fits the charging handle. I know that on AKm’s they generally are the same but other series AK’s are different.
hey great video! i ended up getting that muzzle brake and am excited to fort it :D

What size is your sling?
I’m not sure. It’s a Frank proctor sling if you want to look it up.
Rifle rifle rifle wat rifle . Dam dude .
Uhh.... Yeah I meant pistol. Lol
Have you experienced any keyholes with your AK-P?
rawtoon2000 why would it keyhole?? You'd have to have a VERY shot out barrel to keyhole. I only have about 1,500 rounds through this gun. I've got many thousands of rounds to go before it'll be shot out.
5-6 weeks!? 🤦🏻♂️
Why do I keep doing this to myself? I live in a country outside of the US called California and these aren’t allowed. Actually the only thing that is allowed is a slingshot...🤦♂️
Sorry to hear that. You can always move though. I've heard loads of people are fleeing that communist shithole. I also see that several large businesses are fleeing too. That's what liberalism/socialism/communism does best is destroy everything good and run people and businesses off.
You need to get in with family iin Vegas dude get a address there and do your business there and drive it back to California keep it in the house for defense only and you should be good buddy
Crazy California has the biggest and original gang and street crime problem in the entire country and the regular law abiding citizen can't legally get the advantage with firearms but the east coast has perfected gang banging and crime gun violence and gun related homicides are almost 7x higher and mfs still don't act up like the crooks in California it's because they're aware of the fact that they are not a dominant presence in the streets here I have been in 5 3rd party shootings here in Atlanta and I have been legally grounded to do so each time and everyone else has a right to Carry and defend here it changes the dynamic drastically ice never gon somewhere gang infested or not here in the south and been bothered or accosted by a dangerous stranger it's because they're aware of the fact that they could pick a fight with a random here and lose their lives to someone who's more capable and dangerous than they're and in full legal standing of the law it makes even the most desperate and depraved criminal behave differently in California you can be in the worst scenario imaginable and defend yourself and wind up the criminal it makes no sense then you have to deal with the repercussions in the pen as a Civilian and do gooder that country is lost and is barely apart of the united states I got 3 justified homicides in Texas from bangers trying to do a home invasion and retaliation from the failed attempt that ended 2 lives on the first go if I was in California I'd have to do jail time on top of dealing with the PTSD from killing while defending myself and my family it's senseless there and they are creating more criminals out of thin air due to their idiotic policies
I understand fully and completely why they would make you keep a firearm in one location in your vehicle completely detached on the magazine and ammunition gives you time to deescalate and think about what you're doing while you're taking a piece of firearm from one location and assembling in it and another before pulling the trigger however in the event that you absolutely need to drop and or neutralize and aggressive attacker or deadly force of any kind it puts you so much further behind the ball and you need to be and literally put you directly in the path and or position of a would-be victim a criminal will not abide by such laws or policies their gun would be on their person within arms reach loaded and ready to go in an instance these people are usually the aggressors and pray on the average Joe or Joanna who even in the event of defending their lives are concerned with idiotic laws statutes policies etc and typically wind up being the victim and such scenarios on that side of the country whereas here in the south or Eastern territories of the United States I can walk in any establishment locked and loaded and concealed without license I can take the gun in my pocket if I need to and have it available and at the ready if such a situation arose in which I needed to use my firearm immediately it would be available for me to do so these Dynamics change or tip the scales dramatically even if an armed criminal is out and about looking for a victim they think twice if not more about their actions on this Coast than someone on the west they know that just having that mentality and being armed puts them scores above almost anyone else in an advantageous sitting whereas over here where I'm from you may draw a firearm and end up having four or five drawn on you by random bystanders mother's grandfather's young wives etc it drains a lot of the motivation to do such heinous random acts of violence to ordinary innocent people in my area realistically you think twice about approaching someone who didn't even look like a victim just because you are aware of the fact that it won't be easy and it'll likely be extremely dangerous on this side in comparison I look like somebody everywhere I go and I wear enough jewelry to make any criminal a little antsy but being aware of their environment I never have any issues and I'm thankful for that I carry myself the same way you and in California but I typically try to avoid going to that state because my militant mindset would bear nothing but negative results in those territories
There are no gun lines or game territories here that anyone has to abide by if you are armed and have your antennas up you can go anywhere you like as long as you are willing to fight for your life or possibly end someone else's for the sake of you returning home once you get there you will and can go anywhere because of the adopted mindset Atlanta and the east coast is very different I believe we perfected g********** etc in those areas but the West Coast California in particular if you cross over a certain Street wearing certain colors of dye in your clothes etc it's likely that you are to become a victim with no means of defending yourself in a legal standing which makes absolutely no sense you can be accosted and assaulted by a two-time felon with nothing but violent offenses etc and wind up taking his life defending your own or your loved ones and in the eyes of the California justice system you yourself wind up in the same position as the person you defended yourself from which in my opinion only feeds more into the obvious flaws in their constitutional reckoning no criminal the gang banger etc ever in the history of existence has ever abided by the law in any attempt or effort to break the law and commit crimes in which innocent law-abiding citizens are typically the victims in such cases rap sheets turn people into criminals and criminals are desperate individuals and broadly opportunistic creatures meaning they will take chances even if those of high risk in order to succeed or advance in any way shape or form holding law abiding citizens to the same standards as those who show little concern for governing laws only creates an inbalance of power and a major disadvantage for the good people,
This is a stoic ideology that I have been attempting to bestow onto my wife recently as a point of clarity and understanding that as a person who is not involved in criminal activity and is just living their life tryin to follow the laws and statutes etc to the best of their ability and still be successful you are what's called a mark or a lick to a criminal someone who is on the offense looking for trouble etc is always ahead of the game you as the defensive law abiding citizen or innocent victim are always behind the ball and playing catch up in a defensive situation because nobody leaves their house looking for trouble you just hope to be able to defend yourself should it present itself to you
Is this Rand Paul's ghost account?
Ha ha ha apparently it is. I just wish I had his money!
