Thank you very much for this properly detailed video, gotta start working on mine now, all 4 channels are clogged but now I have a plan (thanks to you). Not sure if I will "enjoy" though 😅
All you did was great, but you'll have the problem again. Good to remove the kink but the kink wasn't the issue. You fix it because you did a very good cleaning. The nipple where the hose connects at the exit is the problem. You have to remove it and cut the stopper that doesn't allow for much water flow. Designed so people have to visit the dealership... A way easier way to do this is to remove the wheel liner and cut the stopper out of the nipple. Pour a bit of water and it will self clean easily and never have this issue again.
Unfortunately I have the same issue. I hooked the end of tube that connects under sunroof to an air compressor with a little water added to line. It blew the opposite end off that connects by firewall. :/ Now thanks to you and your video. I shouldn't have to clase where the other end connects. Thank you much!
Yes it is extremely tight as I mentioned in the video you have to wear a glove or the back of your hand will get cut up from short objects back there. You need to remove the plastic plate in the left side just to be able to see a part of the hose. To put it back you have to feel for the connector on the wall. It is not easy.
@@66jdrod66 yeah the tube on mine is linked too. That’s why I was trying to find the diameter to try to find a clamp of some sort to keep it from pinching.
I’m not sure on that side what had to be taken off to get to it. If I remember I think you can reach under there and feel the hose and where it connects to the elbow that’s clogged. Make sure it’s your front right. All four corners have drain tubes. It just takes on clog to overflow in the car. For me it was how we parked our car down hill and the driver side being lower than the passenger side. Under a tree was were all the debris came from. Hope this helps.
First pry off the weather strip away from the pillar and just let it hang there. Then starting at the top use a plastic prying tool and carefully separate the cover from the frame. Take your time not to break it. When you get most of it off, the bottom section pulls up and out. It took me a couple tries to figure it out.

Hope it works for you. Wear a glove. Lot of sharp edges back there.
the space looks very tight how did you get the end of the line to connect when you put it back?

Rear passenger?
I have that same problem right now! 😢
Like how much will this work will cost me?
Well I think it will be a 2 hour job. No parts I’m guessing. Get estimates if I were you.
Awesome video thanks for the help
Any idea what the diameter of the drain tube is?
Sorry can’t find the tube I used to flush it. Hope you get it fixed, mine was the tube was kinked and the plastic elbow in the firewall was clogged

Would I follow the same steps if mine does it on the passenger side only?

Please for the love of God reply. My car is draining on the passenger side....
Yep 😂
He don't know his azz from a ¾ hose
How do you remove the frame

Thanks
Put a zip strip on it
Great idea.

I’ll check the hose I used to flush it. I’ll let you know.
