Good repairWill! If you have some old speedometer cable from way back when days, you can chuck it up in a drill and use it for a snake at the fittings. I agree with another commenter that once debris stopped up the fitting, ice pushed the hose off. Glad to see you putting out more videos! Bill
Amazing video brother, completely fixed the drain issue and now water no longer pools at the top of the sunroof. I thread a wire down from the top, used canned air (low psi) and detached the tube from insides the car (removed glove box) cleaning the nipple with a q tip
I just bought a siphon hand pump from amazon, filled up a bucket of water then disconnected drained tube thats connected to plug in firewall. Connect the outlet side of siphon to the firewall plug, then put hose from inlet side of siphon into bucket of water. Then just pump away till water comes out from outside of vehicle. I did all 4 corners for the low low price of 19.99 hahaha
Do you have any other solution to the floorboards being wet other than the sunroof ? My floorboards driver front and back aswell as passenger front and back get soaked like muddles whenever it rains and I have no clue where it’s coming from, I’ve tried to clean out the sunroof before but haven’t had success
Sometimes I will go as far as using a hose to simulate rain 🌧️ once the leak is pinpointed then you can evaluate the option. It can be many different things. Door seal, sunroof, window seal, etc.
Im helping a friend with his 2013 Altima that has a wet front and back floor passenger side. If the sunroof is closed during rain how could the water get in? I looked for drain holes when the sunroof was open but did not see any.
I promise you the water is getting in from the drain holes. They are either in the front or back. I’m currently deciding if i should get this issues fixed or trade in my car. This issue is very annoying, and every 3 months i have to worry about it. At this point i worry about it every day since I’m in Florida . 😅
There are only two kinds of sunroofs: Those that do leak, and those that will leak. Nice job, Will!
Well that sums it up perfectly 😅 couldn’t have said it better. Thanks for the laugh

Good tip! I might actually have some
You're on a roll with the videos! Keep'em coming Will and make up for lost time.
Full steam ahead lol I have a lot of ground to make up

Great idea! Thanks for sharing
I don't know where you are at, it could have filled with water and froze, popping it off.
Very true I didn’t think of that. Winters do get cold here in PA. Thanks for sharing your thoughts
Thank you for excellent explanation. Same problem on my Nissan Altima.

How the heck do you do the drain holes towards the rear, the sunroof glass is in the way I can’t see the holes
Hey, I feel you! It can be tricky to spot those drain holes with the sunroof glass blocking the view. Keep at it!
What if mine is dripping from the top
Mine is on both sides. Thanks what big help
